47 - this is the age of the train! The oldest dmus still in service on the rail network, not counting the tube. They gave good service. I suspect they are in better condition than some of the class 205 demu units, also scrapped at 47 years old. Some of these units seemed to be in semi-derelict condition in their final years on the Oxted and Marshlink Lines in Kent and Sussex.
Some lovely tones and clips there of the farewell tour. Wish I could had been down there myself for it but sadly couldn't. Great video

Great captures, lots of nice location. Tones at Littlehampton were very good. But not epic as when it left Brighton for 1 final time back to Depot!
