My mom and grandma both grew this and they would get so big. After the house fire mom refused to have any house plants. She saw all her beautiful work dead and it broke her heart.
I'm so sorry. That is soul crushing. Give your mom & gma a hug from me and tell them that even a phoenix can be reborn and rise from the ashes. Don't give up. They are grieving and just need to get their "growjo" back. We make the same joke about when bad things happen and we just can't crochet. We say we can't get our crojo back yet. I pray they heal and grow their plants back again. Maybe the can get cuttings from friends. I don't have this gorgeous plant but I have over 100 others. I'd send your mama cuttings if she wanted them. If she changes her mind get back to me. 🤙✌️💚🌿🌱🪴🌵☘️🍃🪷🌼🌻💮

There are no rules!! We’re growing plants inside, so we’ve broken the rules of nature already :P I see the moss pole as an extension of the pot. I have a whole moss pole playlist:)

Yeah because a lot of the root system grows into the moss poll from the stem as it trails up. So doesn't need as large of pot .

Australia is a huge place with diverse climates from desert to snowy mountains :) but yes, Sydney's climate isn't all too bad for growing plants :)
