- A song off the album 'Soft Sounds For Gentle People Volume 3'... "Do you believe (1394)" Written by Glenn Grey (thank you otherbirdofprey) and performed by 'The Storybook people', released with their 1967 "Afternoon Glare" record...
What is paradise in my imagination? all of us on a hill, full of flowers, having a picnic, sharing smiles, dances and food, while this song plays in the background. Unity, Light and Love in Psychedelic ☀️💛🌿✨
Can you post up a lot of trippy foky music with female singers? This music always sounds better with woman singers!
This song is on a rare single by "The Storybook People." Do You Believe (1394) is the A-side single to Afternoon Glare.
Thank you so much for setting the record straight on the artists who wrote this
Wow man! It’s like, it’s like far out man!
this music was done with the spirit, boy. New generations lost the spiritual sense...
Wise words

Only if I could travel back in time! The 60s were just amazing! Love the music, the people, the culture, just everything!!!
I travel back in time to the 60's a couple times a week. I get high and listen to this great music. I don't need no stinkin' time machine.
+markess48 same.
markess48 same
If you go back, remind me what it was like. I've forgotten most of it. (and I was there for the Summer of Love, in 67. By the winter, I'd had enough.)
Yes I loved 60's n 70's
Maaaaan...this is a trip...
:50 and 1:44...del shannon's runaway riff..."as I walk along..I wonder what went wrong etc" 1961.
4th line changes a little...
It's v hard (and pointless) to try to be totally original. Just makes you tense and the best music flows from a hotch potch of sources and inspirations...go play ;-)
i love this song i have listened to it 1000000 times.. ✌
I definitely dig this song, good stuff mannnnnn!
Beautifully nostalgic of the era. Both the song & that beautiful album cover!
Priceless.
This song is so calming I love it so much..no1 understands but only I know how this song makes me feel away from stress and just peacefulness.
Thank you!! I did not know the writers name, I've just fixed the description
Just heard this song today! Wonder who this band is? Fantastic! Yes I'm only going on 55 but sure missed out on this one! Great!!
Can you hear the organ playing Runaway-ish? Wonderful!
Such an ethereal masterpiece❤
I can't find this album anywhere.
The production on this is amazing.

les Hippies sont les meilleurs ....ils ont tout compris ..ou presque !

GROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVY
Thanks :) this is pretty fab stuff!
wonderful...thank you!
Great Song!
Amazing !
the words are interesting. great fictional setting, sounds like it could be an "iron man" theme song. Did he say: "my iron mask is dusty"? halfway + thru.
memory flashing back - funny noise - to the 1394 in the days of wine and feudalism, the real iron man and his true love---
It's actually not a fictional setting. To the author it is his view on the relationships through lifetimes with his partner.
Great playlist! I like it:p
So good
Peace & love
Oh yes, I like this.
What year? *Should go to Wikipedea*.
Badass production!
Terrible singing and lazy songwriting. Sometimes, forgotten music ought to stay that way.
we have no room for your opinion here. go be forgotten by the endless tides of time, fool.
It's all about just chilling and feeling the vibe it's not tech death
