For anyone uncertain of the course, just want to say my experience is that the information is excellent, well presented and includes elements I've not seen in books or other courses. Dorian is open to feedback and works to expand parts to increase understanding. And beyond all that, is very kind and generous in his interactions with others. Highly recommend it!
Oh, I definitely like Dorian. It s amazing how many things u can learn from a simple egg! Thanks a lot to Dorian for his thorough explanation, and, of course, the Proko team to make this video happen.
This was awesome and I learned a ton! In some of the quick photoshop touchups, the amount of difference made just by a few quick brush strokes is crazy. Never knew about how paint thickness that hides the canvas could impact the feel of something really being there, but that example in particular was stunning in the before/after.
12:00 Omg they picked my egg! Thank you so much for the feedback, I will keep all you said in mind next time I shade. In my defense, the camera I use is bad and creates extra shadows where there is none. Still super grateful @kprimeart_cr
2:09 You're right, I haven't thought about that while watching the first video, but it's an important thing to take into account and it adds a whole another level of complexity.
The eggshells crying when they saw an egg being cooked. Man this would be an awesome comic strip in a newspaper article to read casually and have a good laugh. IT brings me Joy :)
Saw my egg in the flat light section. I think the poor picture quality did not help but I'm using a scanner now. Thanks for the all the advices Dorian, love your website.
I find the hardest part to actually be the technique to make the shading smooth. I often have areas that are darker than others and it never transitions smooth. Is this something that comes with time or is there something I can do to improve it?
Hi Dorian and Proko! I enjoyed taking part in the egg drawing challenge, thanks for picking 2 eggs of mine, I am honored! The video's are very inspiring, I teach myself and inspired my students with a lot of knowledge you all share, thanks al lot. And grateful for your feedback, totally agree! @ernafliek
How would you draw an egg if it was made of mirror polished chrome? This is something that is not mentioned often but is totally relevant. An egg that was mirror polished would actually not show at all. It has no shadows or highlight but it is merely a reflection of it's surroundings. The same is true with the white egg. All those shadows and highlights are only reflections of what is surrounding the egg, only that the egg is not as reflective as a polished chrome egg so the transitions between the different shades are softer.
Dorian, you are such a sweet person. I love your personal attitude and professionalism. I also love your voice, it is so calming, you should do some artistic ASMR videos :) Thank you for your advices and time. Greetings from Slovakia :)
Hey I'm sorry but I still don't understand what Amid Inclusion is even after looking it up? I get a bunch of political stuff mixed in. Edit: Oh haha I didn't watch the video before asking this. I just tried to look it up as soon as he said it.
That video was egg-celent! Be sure to check out Dorian’s site for more lessons - www.dorian-iten.com/

Both the links to "... the downloadable image tools that Dorian wanted to share with you!," are dead. 😞
The links for the downloadable image tools in the description no longer work :(
Thanks for letting us sent! Sent that over to our team to sort out.
Hopefully we'll have that fixed soon.

I think it is ambient occlusion.
@@CaptainKleptan Thanks!
The Proko links to the two mentioned reference images are dead. Where can we find them?
Thanks for bringing that up! We'll work on getting that sorted and comment back to you here when it is.
