I assume you accepted UVA which is one of the best public schools in the country. That’s a great school and something to be proud of. If I were you, I’d also join the waitlist at U of Chicago, and send a letter of continued interest there. If you get off the waitlist, take U of Chicago even if you lose your deposit to UVA. Chicago is basically the Ivy of the Midwest. Good luck and congrats on your acceptances!
