FWP pumpkin patch is nice in your Thai milk tea pen, but I feel like Dominant Industry Earl Grey Tea is similar, but more on theme. Also, my Botanical Gardens is inked with FWP Sherry Sonata and I'm quite loving that!
Loved your esterbrook collection and your stories!! I am looking to buy my first one for my birthday. I loved the Ferris wheel collab pen but it’s out of stock in all the places I looked. I have never taken my expensive pens outside, what you told struck a chord, I will be taking mine out :)
Hey Claire - I first saw Esterbrooks on your videos. It took me a while to decide and the I got the Estie in Rain Forest. It‘s hands down one of my favorite pens. It is so amazingly comfortable. I also have the To Go Cup in Sand and I have no problems with it. Thanks again for introducing me to Esterbrook!
Beautiful collection! I only have two Esties thus far - the Tortoise with a scribe nib and the Botanical with a journaler nib. I have Troublemaker Hanging Rice in the latter, which I'm liking quite a bit. Originally I'd inked it with Yama-budo, but it was almost too wet an ink for that nib, and seemed to obscure the line variation.
Darn! I thought I had settled on Esterbrook Estie Honeycomb for my next pen. Then I saw your Esterbrook Camden Oktoberfest! Beautiful and a little similar to Honeycomb. Now I don’t know how I will decide between them! On second and third thought I’ll probably stick with Honeycomb because I don’t like the bit of gray in Oktoberfest. And then I spotted Esterbrook Estie Sea Glass while I was on the website. Oh my gosh, what gorgeous blues! Now I feel I have to buy two pens! I could justify buying two pens if I stick with steel nibs, but I’m spoiled with the gold nibs on my Pilot and Sailor pens. Going with gold nibs will make it impossible to buy both Honeycomb and Sea Grass. I wish I could try the steel nibs to see how they write. Maybe I wouldn’t mind settling for steel?? I hope someone can help answer this question for me.
It me. 🙋♀️ I'm the one that suggested this video. 😅 I'm a fan of the Esterbrook 2-Go Cup, even though I find the divider a little odd. However, that 3 pen hard case is stunning! Scarlet is gorgeous and I don't think I've seen it before. I'm late to the Estie game, and I'm looking forward to holding them at the SF Pen show. The Gold Rush in Prospector Black is on my wishlist. 🥹
i just watched your video and i love your collection! i was taking notes with Colorverse Mystik Mountain and it seems that would be beautiful in the last Botanical Garden pen
Maybe Wearingeul's new Anna Karenina ink would work? It is on my to-buy list asap! Just stumbled onto your channel today as I have been pondering an Esterbrook purchase :)
Yes! I got to see it in person at the Orlando Pen Show. It’s not really my color, but it is very beautiful. A lot of Purple/pink lovers out there will be thrilled with this release.
I just bought my first Estie OS in Nouveau Bleu with a Needlepoint. I added an adapter and got a #1550 Firm Extra Fine vintage nib to see how I like Esterbrook vintage nibs. I missed out on the Rocky Top because I wasn't in the hobby when it came out. That colorway looks like caramel milk tea to me. I like the colors of the Camden Oktoberfest. I see the amber of the wheat beer, the white foam, the darker brown of the Brezel, and the white of the salt on top of it. But Thai milk tea works too. LOL If you're okay with non-English speaking TH-camrs, Ink Inc. has some very nice videos on fountain pens and inks, some subbed. Her handwriting (both Korean and English) is beautiful. I remember watching an entire video of hers in search of the perfect yellow. Highly recommended.
I have an Estie Petrified Forrest on my whishlist and you made me consider the Camden Oktoberfest which has similar tones. But I guess I prefer the Estie shape. It is difficult to justify to buy another fountain pen when we have already 10 pens all inked (not counting the oldies Montblanc and Rotring), Opus 88, Twsbi, Kaweco, Narwhal...
Oh my goodness the Oktoberfest is fantastic. I do love the shape of the Estie more, but I’ve found I also enjoy the Camden. Oh! How do you like your Narwhal? That’s a pen I’m very curious about too. I’m about to go to the Orlando Pen Show next week and I’m hoping to try one out while I’m there.
beautiful collection! i can hear how much you love them by the excitement in your voice. ❤
I was literally searching for this exact title today because I just bought the botanical garden and wanted to binge some estie content! Yayyyy 🎉❤❤❤❤
I’m so glad you found me video and enjoyed it.

The rainforest pen is Amazing! 💚
🙌🏽✨🖋✨Thanks for sharing!
That’s an incredible collection I can just watch this vid all day
Thank you! I added a Petrified Forest to my collection in September, but I’ve not quite fallen in love with it yet.
Lovely small collection ❤

I’m really glad that my video helped encourage you to bring your pens out into the sun. ☺️

Put some silicone grease on the threads on your squeaky pen and the sound should go away :)
Beautiful collection! 30:30
Excellent idea! Thanks!!

I’m so glad you suggested this video. You’ll definitely want one after you get one in your hands. I hope you get the one you want!

Thanks for sharing! Have you seen the new Esterbrook Estie Punch Limited Edition? It’s gorgeous! I also have the cup and it’s great.

Ink the last one with a nice red like Diamine Res Dragon or the likes 😊
I love my Scarlet Estie the most! Did you try Diamine Red Dragon in it? I will never change it out-it’s so PERFECT ❤
Which is your favorite among them?
The only problem with my Esterbrook Camden is I really can’t post it. Ugh. I’m thinking of selling it.
Oh no. That’s too bad. Is the spring in the cap not working or is it just too long for your comfort when you post it?
It’s the composition one and it just won’t stay on. Ugh.
