The person that held up the sign saying “Sistar is here and now so is summer” understood the assignment. No matter how many years go by, whenever you think of summer, and summer comebacks and who are the queens of summer Sistar is the first group to come to mind. EVERY SINGLE SUMMER we were guaranteed a mini album from sistar that was hands down nothing but amazing songs. From start to finish all of them easily able to be a title track. Sistar just us that impact and you can’t replicate it.
They truly are the real summer queens. I remember when they peacefully disbanded back in 2017, popular girl groups that year tried to claim the title as "Summer Queens". Im not bashing on them tho, those groups did give us bangers, but SISTAR is the OG and the only group that is the epitome of a summer comeback. 🥰❤️
Even as an SM Stan, the crown for summer queens will always be on Sistar girls' heads. Always. Summer time meant sistar's comeback. Summer time meant fun and carefree music with wonderful vocals. I looked forward to their comebacks every summer.

There are.. 4th gen is pretty talented. The chereo here is nothing intense. All they're doing is shaking their butts most of the time. Sorry not sorry.
@@xyz-pg3zd That's the difference with old and new gen. New gen is focused on harder and sharper choreo, but older gens actually get to breathe, perform and sing. Old gens still had some difficult choreos, mostly boy groups though. Different eras cannot be compared, but imo new gen groups are just too manufactured for perfection. They almost feel like robots - it's alienating. When I watch aespa, they don't even seem to like what they do.

it was a surprise reunion so they literally don't have any of their fans at the audience but look at the hype, that's SISTAR power. i've missed my summer queens so much, this reunion was everything i needed in life! thank you girls, please do it more~
@@Kx____ nope. it was revealed that they will have a reunion a day before the filming. shows like these book the audience more than a day before the filming., so even though fans were given short notice, they didn't make it to the show. they rather gathered outside the filming venue waiting for sistar to leave the building. It's on Soyou's vlog. In a sense, the audience were their fans, but not the fans we are referring to.

Completely agree. I think one of the reasons is because they do sing live and they actually feel the song and do not focus so much on intense perfect choreography. Idol these days practice, act their facial expressions, making me feel they are not really feel or enjoy the songs.

Well, she's a part vocal trainer in Star1 and she always was good. Is hard when you have pipes like Hyolyns next to you, but Soyou was core voice of sistar songs. P.S. Collab Queen... cough cough...
it's starship who always made her sing like that. she always has to use a lot of whispering and falsetto. they made it her signature and it still is. anyway her belt was so good. i barely recognize her voice tbh

Soyou and Hyorin had constant voice cracks even while speaking and there were tons of performances where you could see Soyou in pain while singing. I like that was the first song they did a few pre recorded performances because their voices were just such a mess. Both Soyou and Hyorin regressed after TMB and I now bounced back :)

There is not a single 2nd gen grp in which every member has shown support live while all members of nmixx has. They even showed their skills of freestyling well with just a vlive. Has any 2nd gen done in just a few months of their debut as a whole grp? I dont think so.

Literally got goosebumps while watching this. Groups in their generation are just too special. Don't get me wrong, I stan more groups in 4th Gen, but I can't deny that 2nd Gen groups are so good. Their live singing and stage presence are both too awesome.

Only few people know how dedicated STAR1's to SISTAR. Sistar didn't even announced that they will perform here like a reunion but when STAR1'S heard that they'll perform on that day, THEY ALL RUSHED OUTSIDE THE STUDIO JUST TO SEE THEM. Will and always be STAR1.
Live vocal is on the next level. Soyou and Hyorin’s talent is no question but members like Dasom, Bora didn’t sing and dance for a long time still good on the stage

Watching this, I just remembered how iconic Soyou's voice in Sistar's songs. And even if Bora got little parts, these are the rap parts that people were excited to emulate. Of course, Dasom still had the maknae vibe while Hyorin exudes strong charisma as leader.
I think they're the only girl group that could comeback and be AS succesful as they were before. They never had big fan club so it's not like people "moved on" from them. Their music was always loved by general public, from young to old. Their music style is also timeless, you can see by the audience how much fun they have. Also they would be good with just releasing digital single. Although their b-sides so making more than that would be nice.
You could feel how much Korea misses them, the cheers were incredibly loud, especially Bora's part in Shake It, felt like a mini SISTAR concert to me 😭
I bet they missed this feeling so much... Eventho hyolyn still active as a solo singer, but her reaction in the end seems like she was so moved and holding her tears. 🥰
Wow, this is really one of the best KPop moments 2022. Especially at 5:15 when Bora sings her part and the audience shouts along. Got so many goosebumps. Love Sistar
@@meltwd4142 They just came back for the final episode of Sketchbook because during their 7 years as Sistar they were on the show at least once a year, if not more often. They also felt if they ever did reunite for an album, they would do so on Sketchbook. Since the show will be no more, they felt it was only fitting to be on the final episode together. If you watch the behind the scenes on Soyou's You Tube channel 소유기 SOYOUGI, you'll see they mention it there. Dasom has previously mentioned Starship is open to releasing new music from them should they ever choose to do so (it's never been an issue)

Same question.. i dont know why, they upload performances of all the artist of the show except my queens Sistar. I see some info on twitter due to the copy rights of Starship with the songs so they cant upload. Maybe if videos can be uploaded on the same day, it will be more viral. Anw, right now, i can see them again, still beautiful, sexy, bright smiles, full of energy on stage..... one of the best reunion of this year 2022
@@phansang298 I saw that too and was laughing, there is no reason why Starship would do such a thing. The CEO formed the group himself and has a good relationship with the members. Dasom even said a year or two ago that Starship is open to releasing new music from the group anytime they want to. You should check out the behind the scenes of this performance on Soyou's You Tube channel 소유기 SOYOUGI where it shows their rehearsals, etc. (it was also released like a day or two after the performance aired). I guess KBS wanted to wait and upload it on their international You Tube channel which uploads stuff like 2 weeks after it initially airs and I think is viewable in more countries.
@@szegun Is it on KBSKpop channel for South Korea? I have seen videos on KBSKpop blocked from international audiences and then upload on KBS World instead. If it is not available on KBSKpop, people should ask to unblock it since it is available everywhere else.
We really dont get girl groups like this anymore. The ones that project idgaf strong woman image :( they were such an inspo for me when i was younger. Secret, sistar, brown eyed girls - the strong, mature, sexy groups of 2nd gen! Mamamoo for 3rd gen. Sadly, there just arent any 4th gen groups that do this concept anymore :(

I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PERFORMANCE! - The way the performance distribution equally highlighted everyone's strengths - Bora got well-deserved moments as the member with least singing parts - Dasom really got to sing her parts without the main vocals overpowering her lines - We can actually hear when they sing the entire chorus! 4th gen Kpop can rarely sing live this stable so I definitely miss this! - Everyone looks so fresh and mature! SISTAR THE BEST!
I didn’t ask God that Sistar became parts of my 20s. I felt so blessed and grateful. Now, those years are gone, but the memories remain. 10 years have been passed. Just have a little faith that one day they will make a comeback🙂

I love that their outfits really highlight their actual style ! With normal costume, it's all about fitting the concept but here you can see their personnality shine. If it was before the stylist would probably have given Soyou's outfit to Bora, Bora's outfit to Dasom and Dasom's outfit to Soyou.

Well, she's a part vocal trainer in Star1 and she always was good. Is hard when you have pipes like Hyolyns next to you, but Soyou was core voice of sistar songs.

it's starship who always made her sing like that. she always has to use a lot of whispering and falsetto. they made it her signature and it still is. anyway her belt was so good. i barely recognize her voice tbh
@@bombbay7529 I think it had more to do with being overworked. Soyou and Hyorin had constant voice cracks even while speaking and there were tons of performances where you could see Soyou in pain while singing. I like that was the first song they did a few pre recorded performances because their voices were just such a mess. Both Soyou and Hyorin regressed after TMB and I now bounced back :)

There is not a single 2nd gen grp in which every member has shown support live while all members of nmixx has. They even showed their skills of freestyling well with just a vlive. Has any 2nd gen done in just a few months of their debut as a whole grp? I dont think so.

Literally got goosebumps while watching this. Groups in their generation are just too special. Don't get me wrong, I stan more groups in 4th Gen, but I can't deny that 2nd Gen groups are so good. Their live singing and stage presence are both too awesome.

Watching this, I just remembered how iconic Soyou's voice in Sistar's songs. And even if Bora got little parts, these are the rap parts that people were excited to emulate. Of course, Dasom still had the maknae vibe while Hyorin exudes strong charisma as leader.
I think they're the only girl group that could comeback and be AS succesful as they were before. They never had big fan club so it's not like people "moved on" from them. Their music was always loved by general public, from young to old. Their music style is also timeless, you can see by the audience how much fun they have. Also they would be good with just releasing digital single. Although their b-sides so making more than that would be nice.

@@meltwd4142 They just came back for the final episode of Sketchbook because during their 7 years as Sistar they were on the show at least once a year, if not more often. They also felt if they ever did reunite for an album, they would do so on Sketchbook. Since the show will be no more, they felt it was only fitting to be on the final episode together. If you watch the behind the scenes on Soyou's You Tube channel 소유기 SOYOUGI, you'll see they mention it there.
Dasom has previously mentioned Starship is open to releasing new music from them should they ever choose to do so (it's never been an issue)

Same question.. i dont know why, they upload performances of all the artist of the show except my queens Sistar. I see some info on twitter due to the copy rights of Starship with the songs so they cant upload. Maybe if videos can be uploaded on the same day, it will be more viral. Anw, right now, i can see them again, still beautiful, sexy, bright smiles, full of energy on stage..... one of the best reunion of this year 2022
@@phansang298 I saw that too and was laughing, there is no reason why Starship would do such a thing. The CEO formed the group himself and has a good relationship with the members. Dasom even said a year or two ago that Starship is open to releasing new music from the group anytime they want to. You should check out the behind the scenes of this performance on Soyou's You Tube channel 소유기 SOYOUGI where it shows their rehearsals, etc. (it was also released like a day or two after the performance aired).
I guess KBS wanted to wait and upload it on their international You Tube channel which uploads stuff like 2 weeks after it initially airs and I think is viewable in more countries.

We really dont get girl groups like this anymore. The ones that project idgaf strong woman image :( they were such an inspo for me when i was younger. Secret, sistar, brown eyed girls - the strong, mature, sexy groups of 2nd gen! Mamamoo for 3rd gen. Sadly, there just arent any 4th gen groups that do this concept anymore :(

- Bora got well-deserved moments as the member with least singing parts
- Dasom really got to sing her parts without the main vocals overpowering her lines
- We can actually hear when they sing the entire chorus! 4th gen Kpop can rarely sing live this stable so I definitely miss this!
- Everyone looks so fresh and mature!

I enjoy seeing the 2nd generation groups so much, they are the golden age of kpop, the quality of their performance is admirable.
I didn’t ask God that Sistar became parts of my 20s. I felt so blessed and grateful. Now, those years are gone, but the memories remain. 10 years have been passed. Just have a little faith that one day they will make a comeback🙂
