Fun fact on the same line, at Rogojeni, there is a railroad crossing with an exposed bell.
Actually, almost all the crossings on the line had exposed bells, nowadays they're covered.

Those bells sound rather flat. Interesting that they left the counterweight arms on the gate mechs when they disabled them.

Nice, another good old crossing from SV Ro, but the gates are removed, the drive mechanism is disabled and M-bells are still working, but the sounds are flat.

they're not poorly made... they're just old and unmaintained.
imagine being in the 1970s... the crossings back then were the newest equipment
if you talk about the removed/abandoned mechs inside the svetofor gate drive(does anybody know what's inside it?).. welp, it may have never had mechs, since this is the model.
