If you had to pick 1 topping for your baked potato (other than salt and pepper) what would it be? I think I'd have to say butter/ghee. But chili would be a very close second!
@@DonaldRhoades-br7bw they are so easy! And you can make so many things with them. You should check out some of my other air fryer recipes. Super easy stuff! If you're from tempe to you remember rawhide? (Or before your time ..? Haha!)
America's Test Kitchen says soak washed poked potatoes in saltwater. Bake to 205 degrees. Imho a single slit holds toppings and butter better than an x. Important to bake at 350 to 205 degrees and the caryover temp will get it to 210, the ideal temp. So leave it sit outside the oven a few minutes before putting the slice in the top so the caryover has a chance to raise the temp another 5 degrees .
Goes to show there's more than one way to make baked potatoes! lol! But these are so perfect, I can't imagine trying another way, but thanks for the info!

I grew up in Tempe, Arizona. I'm new to air fryers, but you make it seem simple. Thank you.

Q: My oven has an “air fryer” function. Will this process work with a full size oven on air fry?
@@vaseevol yes it will!
