Basically Del dealt specific cards to Boycie so he'd have a poor hand - effectively they were both cheating each other.
It also follows grandads "something up his sleeve" line as the implication is poker cheats hide cards up their sleeves.

Just sayin' - if this was on a real poker table, Del Boy wouldn't have won. If he'd announced "two pair" vocally like that, the dealer would have declared his hand void and the money would have went the other way.

Verbal Declarations - Cards speak to determine the winner of a hand. Verbal declarations as to the content of a player's hand are not binding; however at Tournament Staff discretion, any player deliberately miscalling his or her hand may be penalized. simple really.

It was always hilariously funny but you got to see their sad moments and their struggles as well which made you root for them even more, which in turn made the comedy funnier. Fantastic script. David Jason's versatile performance, angry and ticked off "same place you got them kings" followed by the goofy smirk "because that wasn't the hand I dealt you"

Looks like that comment doesn't exist anymore either though strangely. Obviously it was a typo but just a bit of a silly one given the context of your comment.

@@CB-xr1eg I wouldn't worry about it. The comment that you had originally replied to wasn't there when I came to this video and now that comment (which I originally replied to) isn't there either.
