    Hey I know this is a bit old, but my time-lapse STOPS after 50 pictures. Do you have any workaround for this?

    I kinda want to do this, but I am not sure how or if I should do it. Would be nice if there is a video on how to do it, like a screencapture doing it.

      The only thing you need to do is save the 2x autoexec files to the root of your memory card and you are away :)

    It worked for first 50 pictures.Then it stopped and i had to restart camera and make 50 pictures again. Does anyone know where can be the problem, and how to solve it ? Thanks

    Ive just dusted off my hero 2014, v1.07 but am finding the fix super glitchy. Like people have said on here it gets to 45-50 pics and then stops taking any more. I'm sure there must be a fix, think i'll just try some trial and error stuff.

    can you plug an external mic into it?

    • @TechWizTime
      @TechWizTime  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Funny you ask because I have been researching if the GoPro Hero 2014 can use the USB adapter that the GoPro Hero 3 can. Nothing concrete yet but still researching.

    • @SjMotoVlogs
      @SjMotoVlogs 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ok thanks.. could you try the mic adapter they have and plug it in to see? just plug a lav mic into the adapter and try lol

      Just as an FYI, the GoPro USB to 3.5mm Female cable is NOT compatible with the GoPro Hero 2014 Entry Level Camera. The reason is a strange one. The pins inside the MINI-B connector are not standard. Instead of being 5 pins (top) which is a standard, this one has 10 pins (5 top and 5 bottom) so it won't even fit in the GoPro Hero 2014. This is because those GoPro models are capable of transferring Audio/Video through the USB port where the entry level model can't. So this one comes down to being a hardware limitation.

    • @SjMotoVlogs
      @SjMotoVlogs 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      ok thank you so much for taking time for doing the research!

      @@marciocardenas9337 After playing with mine a bit more, I actually re-wrote the script myself and got it working by combining both TechWizTime AND KonradIT methods. KonradIT's method worked for continuous shooting, but WOULN'T work while plugged in/with an extended battery. But once I created the combined script file it works now....
      Here's what I did:
      Create 3 files:
      autoexec.ash
      autoexec2.ash
      autoexec3.ash
      autoexec.ash has:
      sleep 1
      t app key mode
      d:\autoexec2.ash
      autoexec2.ash has:
      sleep 55
      t app key record
      sleep 2
      d:\autoexec3.ash
      autoexec3.ash has:
      sleep 1
      reboot yes
      (Don't forget the empty line breaks at the end)

      I tested this 2 years ago with KonradIT. Idk why but when you put script in two files u always got 50 pics and script stopping. thats why i putting always script in single files and he never stop. Bad idea is fact u cant' get smaller time than 5 sec in script.

    • @TomaszTerkaVlog
      @TomaszTerkaVlog 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Use script from KonradIT. We talk about this long time ago and for now two files script don't work good. Script with one autoexec work fine but camera must always reboot for next photo.

      I am going to try and get a timelapse of a fair this weekend. I am putting my gopro on a telephone pole and running a extension cord to power it over USB, as it will be getting the timelapse for 3 days straight. I used the ConradIT code and set the interval to 60, so it doesn't fill up my SD card in only a few hours. I would have used the TechWixTime's code, but I saw too many comments saying how it was unstable after a certain amount of time. If you have any ideas of what might be causing this, please chime in before this Friday!

    When I added these files, my GoPro would ONLY shoot with these settings, is that how it's supposed to work? E.g. on video mode, it would record a 5 second video, stop and wait 5 seconds and then record anther 5 second video etc. Did I do something wrong?
