Agree does not matter in is ER, ICU, PACU, HOME HEALTH, NURSING HOME, MINIMUN 100 DOLLARS PER HOUR, nurses have to sufer so much and spent most of the time with the clients ......
Call is definitely a good way to make money. I been a icu nurse for a long time but started working pacu prn,! It’s mind blowing how much more you can make due to call pay and way less stress
Absolutely!!!!!! Especially in hospitals where they allow you to work 8-hour shifts! More than a quarter of your pay 💰 could be from just call pay! It’s awesome! And congrats on your PACU position. We need to keep more ICU experienced nurses in PACU :)
Federal and CA state taxes take out a huge chunk of your pay, your actual take home pay is way less than you would think. The higher pay also puts you into higher tax bracket and so a greater amount of your pay is lost to taxes
Yes, you are correct! But it does make up for the higher cost of living. And then it depends where you live also in the Bay Area or out in LA County. Yep, the tax bracket sucks both for CA & Federal. But I know some nurses who fly from OH to the Bay Area (northern Cali) to work because the pay is so much greater!
Taxes are not as bad as you think especially if you havw a good tax guy. Who can write off a bunch if stuff including school loans your gas internet car you come out. Or you can stay in states where lvn make the same or more than rn
Here in America a lot of taxes are taken out of our pay. There is a big difference between gross and net pay. You go educate yourself.@@africaoriginalvlogs6140
Too much articles to choose and can't find the scale in the link...Just finished an interview with UCLA and what would be their hourly pay for a nurse with 6 years of experience ?
Hello! Sorry, late reply. I can get back to you tomorrow or if you don’t mind sharing what they offered you, some audience would love to hear…thank you!
Hello, no you cannot. Since you already have a degree, which I am not sure if your degree is recognized to get into Nursing School Master's Accelerated program. Please re-check. But you cannot be a nurse without going to school for at least 2 years and then taking the Board Exam.
Obviously they gonna pay u more coz of ur beautiful body as well. Pretty privilege is def a thing and be grateful u have it. Saying it doesn’t exist is just naive.

100$/hr should be a standard pay for nurses.
They definitely do not get paid enough for what they do!

That extra money is actually for rents assumed, because direct pay doesn't mean that you actually get that post taxes
You are absolutely correct! There are so many taxes and BS fees that only CA takes out!
Thank you for the info it would be great if you have also included the cost of living in each city.
Thanks for the suggestion! I will do that!
I know nurses at UCSF that drive 1-2 hours to work everyday because of the pay.
Yep! I know people who fly to SF area to work for a few days straight then fly back home ie OHIO lol

What? $38/hr on standby?? while us in midwest area, $3/hr for standby on call😅
Yep!! But look at cost of living! Although, I should put up a video on how much rent is there esp. in Palo Alto! It's totally worth it!
3 hr standby yall need to go on strike
@@watching789 there’s no union here to go on strike

But can nurses buy houses in la or the Bay Area?
Love your question! In the better areas, no lol
Close to $100/hr for a nurse. Doctors should be paid at least twice as much, including PCP.
Agreed!!

Given that pay is based strictly on the union contracts, your comment is just sad and cringe.

That is not a fact! All nurses are paid equally by their experience, not their bodies!! Geez!
Sad and cringe, but also hilarious! I'm dying laughing LOL
