They appear in the Next Music From Tokyo tour every few years, from east to western Canada. They were there 2012 and then 2016 April thru May. I saw 'em live in Vancouver. I developed mild whiplash from headbanging so hard and lost my voice for a few days, but it was goddamn life-changing. Their live stuff just kills any of their studio recordings, especially the drums in Hikizuru Beat...the drops just shocks your guts in the best ways possible. They're super cool people offstage too!
I love that when the song breaks out they just start jostling each other. Not enough room to mosh so they just sorta throw their bodies around a little, it's dope.
You can tell they want to go crazy but are all still extremely respectful of the performers' spaces, it's a beautiful thing. Just a lot of people wanting to have a good time with some extremely good music.
