So true. On the other hand, they lost Yui and Mikio at about the same time. It might have ripped the whole thing apart, but they kept it together, albeit at a price. Some of the things we still can see here got lost along the way. I enjoy what they are doing now, especially as the Western Kamis are outstanding musicians in their own right, but at the same time miss those days.
@@bricks22I am not sure who you refer to as "they". The band in this video is the original Kami band, now refered to as the Eastern Kamis or Kamis of the East. They usually wear white clothes and white make up. To my knowledge they are all Japanese. The Western Kamis I talked about usually wear black clothes and metallic masks. They are all American musicians and were first hired some years ago for a lengthy U.S. tour. I do not know why. It was the Western Kami band I saw on stage when Babymetal supported Sabaton's European tour earlier this year. I attended the Cologne concert in May. They are also in all the footage I watched regarding their own world tour that started on May 25th. So they seem to be the default Kami band now. Or to put it another way: You will very probably not see the band in ths video if you see Babymetal on the ongoing tour As a caveat: I am not sure about the concerts in Japan itself in January, early April (Yokohama) and in the summer. It could be that the eastern Kami band played there, but I would have to check videos for that.
Remastered, I'm not sure if it's improved video or video and sound but what I've just experienced was outstanding in every way. I'll try and do a comparison when I have more time but in the meantime thank you so much for your dedication to the best 'band' I've ever known 🙏❤️❤️❤️

It is wild to think that there's an alternate timeline where Suzuka Nakamoto isn't a rock star. Like if she followed her expected career trajectory, she'd probably be another YUI (not that one) or LiSA or maybe in a group like Perfume. As awful as he seems to be at handling the majority of BABYMETAL's careers, credit should go to Koba for seeing Suzuka and correctly banking on where her talents would be most successful.
You are absolutely right, I think the same, his great talent has been amplified by Koba, a very good producer. He stole a great artist for metal and she is magnificent. I also think she would be in a group being good but normal.
