I, too, got my love of travel from my grandmother! She was always bringing me stuff from Egypt, the Bahamas, Turkey, wherever she went. Sadly she passed away when I was 13, but I've saved everything and constantly look to her photos for inspiration. As always, thank you for sharing! ❤️🌍

Hi Mari, this was such a great video! Your grandma is so cute and inspiring! Have you done any videos on travel fears/anxieties? I'm about to go teach English abroad and I get pretty nervous when traveling so it would be great to hear your perspective. :)

How about just having a very short layover in an airport in a foreign country, does that count?
i think the only reason that pushes me to obtain US citizenship is the perks that its passport has. you can travel visa free to a lot of countries. i feel I am limited with my current Philippine passport.
How is it like living in the Philippines?
+David Ramos it was great! life is pretty simple compared here (i currently live in New York). everyone knows every one. you can go by a day without spending money, if you so choose. neighbors bring over food to each other's houses.
Diana Ragub If your describing the Philippines, it sounds like there is more community. I would like to visit one day. That and New York. I like the city life too sometimes.
+David Ramos i came from the visayas part of the islands. it is the one that had that huge typhoon two years ago. beaches are great over there too! Mari went to Boracay and featured helmet diving in her videos!
