A no brainier to go to Poco if you are eyeing for Note 8. Especially if you prefer Snapdragon for only additional 1k. Also a larger screen (if you don't mind that cutout vs Note 8). 128 is also a reasonable storage to me since I can't even fill it in half. If you really also need SD expansion card, no choice but to go Note 8.

Question to C4tech :--- whats the point of using glass on back. Just with a major fall it may break. For that again people buy back cover which end up spoiling the looks of a phone. Bigger display, same exact resolution. Resulting in the poco having less PPI. Also the punch hole is kinda bigger than the notch, though some find it less interrupting. So it doesn't really matter. And some people like a smaller display. Over 6.3 inches is already very big for me. The two phones are extremely similar. There's no clear cut on which is better. It's simply performance and benchmarks vs 120hertz display. If in some cases the poco seem to beat the 8 pro, it's probably mainly because of the Poco is on Android Q while the 8 pro is still on 9 pie.

I still go with the mediatek helio 690T when it comes it gaming. But if you are in power efficiency go with 730g as it has 8nm plus it also has 120hz refresh rate. Nice review carry on brother!

Bigger display, same exact resolution. Resulting in the poco having less PPI. Also the punch hole is kinda bigger than the notch, though some find it less interrupting. So it doesn't really matter. And some people like a smaller display. Over 6.3 inches is already very big for me. The two phones are extremely similar. There's no clear cut on which is better. It's simply performance and benchmarks vs 120hertz display. If in some cases the poco seem to beat the 8 pro, it's probably mainly because of the Poco is on Android Q while the 8 pro is still on 9 pie.
Am i the only one that hates app drawer,i prefer my apps in the home screen pages with me rearranging them to different folders.The no app drawer is actually one of the reasons i bought the Redmi Note 8 pro

Whats the use of 120hz panel when u can’t even run PUBG Mobile at 60fps. Redmi Note 8 pro does support 60fps (smooth extreme).
There are other games which run at 120fps and with help of GFX tool you can unlock smooth+extreme as SD730G is a capable chipset.

the mi9t is atm at a very competitive price and a better phone overall, the k30 is a major step down for a 'poco' branded phone being catered towards high performance for a budget, not only the k30 have subpar cpu and the lack of super amoled/amoled screen for a subpar ips LCD is adding more insult to the injury, if i were you, i would wait for the xiaomi note 9 as they were stating that it boast performance like no other in its class. xiaomi note series have always been a very good offering.

Ash, I am saddened by your silence on Samsung charging 10k more for the A51 despite having nearly 90% of the same specs as their very own Galaxy M30S and with a smaller battery. Why is their a stoic silence from you when in this competitive mid range segment Samsung provides the same specifications for a 10k higher price and no questions asked just because they are Samsung?
