    I ordered some 18oz Yokkao Matrix gloves in Island (sort of a pastel seafoam green) to supplement my Cleto Reyes lace ups. I do western boxing, but I got sucked in by the colors and the apparent quality. The wrists might be a drawback, but hey, wraps and tape will help. Occasionally some guys from a local Muay Thai club come and train with us, and they seem to do fine with their Fairtex and Twins gloves on heavy bags.

    Thank you man! Love the consistently very detailed reviews, always cover all the bases! I picked up a pair of these and want a new pair of gloves already 😂 do you possibly have the Ringside Heritage gloves or the Winning gloves/any Winning clones? Thanks again! ❤️

    Nice review, just rodered a pair, btw i have a question, would you say the 16oz run a bit smaller compared to other Thai brands like Twins or Fairtex?

  • @IMAFREAKINBOSS
    @IMAFREAKINBOSS 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    The one critique I have for Yokkao gloves is that the patch on the wrists break because they are plastic. Not all of their gloves have plastic patches though, some have cloth.

    Just tried my first pair of Yokkao gloves from their new lineup. The quality of leather and stitching was incredible but I don't like the thumb placement at all and found the wrist strap too rigid. Could benefit from some better quality Velcro too

    I personally used these once or twice, they were not comfortable at all, I used a big one, they were too small, my fingers hurt inside, in my opinion, they are the best gloves. twins and booster

    Cool review thanks. Any tips on gloves that are ventilated a bit better.... the whole hot issue will annoy me at some point. :) And what gloves would you give a 10?

    • @combat_corp
      @combat_corp  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ventilation I would say the Ringside Apex gloves are great! The higher level glove you get, the more leather you will use which will make your hands warmer. HOWEVER find gloves with tight nylon inside and you will find them good. Fairtex has a ventilated palm for their standard bgv1!

    I have 16oz Top King Super Air gloves for sparring and partner drills, but i hate the fact that they are HUGE. Pisses me off that i can't penetrate my opponents guard. What are the gloves you would recommend, Hayabusa T3, Yokkaos or perhaps something else to replace my Top Kings
    I am 240lb 6'4 and i believe i can punch a bit :p
    Thanks a bunch!

    • @combat_corp
      @combat_corp  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Set ups will get through your opponents guard but yes the Hayabusa t3 gloves work great and you would want the 16 oz of course.

    Hey, great review as always ✌️Could you help me a little bit? I found a realy cool design yokkao glove, but i cant try them on(there is no yokkao store or seller near to me) how big is that 16 oz compare to a hayabuse t3 14oz or 16oz(i have both in my arsenal :D)

    • @combat_corp
      @combat_corp  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I would say very comparable hand compartment size if not Yokkao as a little bit of a wider hand compartment but not by a ton

    Hi i am new about buying Yokkao's gloves and got my self the monsters glove, and they came exactly as yours with the logo in the wrist, but i saw in the beggining of the video where you mentioned some fiththers that there is one using them and the logo on the wrist is different, you know why ?

    • @combat_corp
      @combat_corp  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have no clue! Companies tend to create different design patterns for different gloves. Some muay thai fighters specifically design their gloves for each bout as a sign of good luck and tradition so maybe that is it!

    Thoughts of these vs T3?

    • @combat_corp
      @combat_corp  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      t3s are honestly some of my more favorite gloves on the market. I think the t3s are extremely better in the knuckle/wrist support areas and overall a more comfortable glove and it kinda pulls off the best of a lot of things. It is puffy much like a western style boxing glove, opens up like a thai glove and also has a shorter stature like a thai glove but with a large hand compartment. Honestly the t3 is within my top 3 favorite gloves produced. Hayabusa in general is a super phenomenal company. Other thing is about the t3, is that the materials they use are meant to last eternity it feels like. I still love the Yokkao's but I won't lie to you, get the t3s if you want a supremely comfortable/protective glove for your hands. Yokkaos are great for strictly thai and are very much a puncher's glove with a puffy feel to them. Good knuckle support, decent wrist support, and they do have better feedback than the t3s but honestly the t3s feel pretty good
