Opened accounts for myself and P2 (via the appropriate links) with no issues, and even set up funding. Then the next day, we both received the bogus "risk appetite" message and both accounts were closed. May try again now that the dust has settled a bit

I opened and instantly approved, received email on saying they can’t open account and closed

Don't bother. You're no longer a new customer now that you had an account even if only for less than a day
