I watched your video every year from 10 years ago,I have the same Rival Roaster Oven and still using it ,thank you guys ! Happy ThanksGiving to you all from Tony
My wife bought a Rival roaster oven at a yard sale in 2019 and that fall is when I discovered your channel with the first video I watched of yours was cooking a Turkey with the “SQUIRREL GONE WILD!!!” Recipe 🤣 and I’ve stayed tuned into whatever you have posted since! Again Love how Nikki beat you to the punch on your signature sign -off… God Bless y’all! Happy Thanksgiving! And Thank you for sharing!
You are right. The original video is still the one to watch for the full recipe. This one we just wanted to express thanks and also answer a few questions.
I'd poke a few holes and put some garlic cloves in it before cooking it!! ;) But That's just me!!! I did what's called "Turkey Mercedes" for 2 years back in the days and it's a Cuban recipe....... Totally NOT your traditional turkey but so AWESOME.... Just Google Turkey Mercedes and make it sometime later.... I have 2 turkey breasts in the freezer (Looks like mini turkeys lol) and I think I'm gonna do the "Turkey Mercedes" on them sometime soon..... It's white wine, orange juice, garlic, cumin, lemon juice, salt, pepper and oregano, etc and it is VERY different and VERY VERY tasty!!! I did this twice over the past years and it was always a hit!!! :)
What if she’s done before the 3rd hr… will it be dry? Thinking of ditching the oven method and getting a roaster, came across you vid for some tips and questions, thanks 😊
Saw your original video for the first time just a few weeks ago love that it was from username Squirrel gone wild 😜 my turkey is currently in the roaster but sadly not a removable insert liner.
@@krystalroller2915 for larger turkeys we usually go four hours. The 12 pounder we cooked this year was only three hours. It might not take nearly as long as you think. As long as you aren’t opening the lid so much I think you could go to 2 1/2 hours no problem.Especially with one that small.
@tonyleeglenn thank you so so much. I started it at 425 for 20 minutes, then cut it down to 325, and I was thinking 2 to 2 and a half hours. I am so glad you responded, I was getting worried I was wrong. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Yum. Looks good. Making my Christmas turkey now in my roaster.

Happy Thanksgiving Tony and Nikki. I have that exact same roaster. I'll have to try using it for my Turkey this year.

I have the same roaster but doing my ham in it today. Happy Thanksgiving all !
My mom gave me a new never used Rival Roaster two days ago. I spatchcock my 14lb turkey.
I have a small family we have a 6 lb turkey, still follow the roasting instructions? I have a rival 20 qt programmable roaster.

Quick question I’m doing the roaster for the first time do I put the turkey at 350 or 325 after the first half hour. Mine is 21 bls
350 is what we’ve always done
Thank you happy Thanksgiving
❤️👍🏾❤️👍🏾❤️👍🏾
So if I understand correctly for a 14/16 lbs turkey start at 425 for 30min ….then set at 325 for 3 hours? Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
I watch this video like Christmas story
