Another cool fact to add about Sora's classic route:
After clearing the Olympus Coliseum world, before he leaves to go to the next world, Cloud teaches Sora the Sonic Blade ability, which is Sora’s Side B move. Then he says, "How about a rematch sometime? Fair and square, no dark powers involved!"

@ShadowkidGaming1234 They even use R.O.B. as a puppet fighter for the E.M.M.I. Spirit Battle.
P.S.: If you want to win that battle without using Spirits, use Joker. If you can hit the R.O.B. with Eiha (Joker's Side B) when the invincibility isn't active, R.O.B. will still take damage even when invincible. It'll do about 9 HP of damage before wearing off. All you have to do is move around and try not to get hit, but that's much easier than trying to find a window to hit R.O.B. in this particular battle. Seriously, you only get about 2-3 seconds to get a hit on E.M.M.I. before the invincibility starts up again.

    • @Dibs1337
      @Dibs1337 ปีที่แล้ว +5

actually the R.O.B. in those matches were to match up with the robotic bounty hunter, in the DS game. [i forget the name, i'm sorry.] but in the game samus was on probation from the government work, cause of her attachment to the metroid she brought back, so she did some bounty hunter work [legal level through the government connections she had] and during her hunt for one bounty, she runs into multiple robotic bounty hunters, and i believe only one of the multiple ones she runs into in the game was a living being, but was mostly prostethic/robotic in body, which is the only one that actually "gets away", if i remember right.
      EXTRA:
forgive my forgetfulness on all the info for this game, but it was EARLY DS era. the controls were...bad...having to use the touch screen for aiming, changing weapons, using items, and you could not pause the game normally. i only got short way into the game, cause of how many enemies were fast and small, and using the stylus to aim, then have to move my hand to hit R to shoot the main cannon you had equipped....it was horrible....D-pad moved and strafed, stylus on the radar screen was the "turn/aim" mechanic. [meaning you could not aim AND see the radar cause your hand was over it and being right handed for the stylus....] and the R button was primary shoot as i said...L was missile [once unlocked] and you had to change menu screen on bottom screen to change primary cannon type, and access the roll-ball form, and so many puzzles were timed, had to change cannon types to access specific switches, thankfully the more complicated puzzles were just collectible, or secrets oriented....
basically, the controls sucked, and i only beat it cause of infinite health and missile cheats, CAUSE MORE THEN HALF THE ENEMIES, AND ALL BUT 2 BOSSES WERE TOO FAST FOR THE GIVEN AIM MECHANIC. usually took me 40 minutes to beat one of the fast bosses...

While Captain Falcon could reference Hwoarang, he could also be a reference to Paul Phoenix, another character with a firey punch. Some convos from Kid Icarus Uprising that explain why Dark Pit isn’t wholly evil.

      Dark Pit: Speak for yourself.
      (Initiate battle phase 2)
Pandora: You fool! You were created to serve me! Your opponent’s over there!
Dark Pit: You’re A boss, Pandora, but you’re not MY boss!
      ***
Medusa: You're a real go-getter, Dark Pit. I like that.
      Dark Pit: Is that so?
Medusa: Yes, though I AM curious how you plan to best your doppelganger. Of course, destroying Pit would be a snap with a little help from me.
Dark Pit: Don't make me laugh.
Medusa: Did I say something funny?
Dark Pit: You've got me confused with the other guy. THIS Pit is no pawn. I'll take care of him, but only after I finish you!
Medusa: Hmm... Now this is a little...bizarre.
Pit: I know, right? The mouth on that guy! I'd never talk like that.
Medusa: That's not what I meant.

Medusa: The Mirror of Truth created Dark Pit. So his allegiance should be to the Underworld Army.

Samus' fight against Charizard, Bowser and Mewtwo could be used to represent Ridley, Kraid and Mother Brain respectively. While Mewtwo representing Mother Brain could be considered a stretch, I think it works, as, like it was said in the video, Mewtwo could be considered a villainous Pokémon. Mother Brain starts as an ally to the Chozo, but eventually defects to the Space Pirates' side as their leader. Both of them are also artificially made. As for Charizard and Bowser, those two are more self explanatory

The first Sora fight with the two Dark Links, I think, is just another reference to Heartless. The eyes are red instead of yellow, but being fully shadowed characters with glowing eyes their only colored feature is pretty iconic of Heartless, and not really of possessed characters, which tend to remain human but take on Xehanort’s yellow eyes and white hair. Or wear Riku’s darkness jumpsuit.
Plus, what with Heartless being made up of hearts and pure darkness, and Dark Links being… dark, it’s really perfect. They could also represent how Ansem himself is a humanoid Heartless, or more complex Heartless like Darksides, rather than round, chibi Shadows.

My main thought would be pitting each one against fighters who corresponds to each Mii fighter's style(Brawler vs swordless and minimal projectiles, Swordfighter vs other swords or blades, and Gunner vs projectile heavy). As for what my brother suggested as a boss fight, he recommended a Mii Fighter version of Masahiro Sakurai himself as the final boss, while having the fighting style of the Mii you play as.
As for the titles of each route, the best I can come up with off the top of my head are these: Eye of the Fighter for Brawler, Say Hello to My Little Friend for Gunner, & Masahiro Samurai for Swordfighter. I feel it's fitting to name a route after Sakurai and have him be the final boss.

Pikachu's battle against Lucario, Greninja and Incineroar can also be a reference to the anime as all 4 have been owned by Ash, though admittedly the Lucario was from the Sword & Shield arc so it came after the release of Smash so was unlikely meant to represent it, but it could double as a reference to the Lucario & the Mystery of Mew movie where Ash is the cause of Lucario being released from the staff it was trapped inside. The Lucario from that movie very much resembles the Lucario we see in the Smash series, most notably in Brawl's Subspace Emissary. It's grunts and speech sound similar to the voice of the Movie Lucario and the whole focus on Aura is ripped straight from the movie. It doesn't say it's own name like normal appearances of Lucario in the anime and most other non-legendary Pokémon in Smash, much like how all of the other Legendary Pokémon in the Smash series sound similar to their Movie appearances
Also, I can't be the only one who wishes the music used during the Pokémon segments more accurately reflected the games the Pokémon were used in rather than Jigglypuff having the Diamond & Pearl wild theme and Mewtwo using the Sun & Moon Elite Four/Legendary Pokémon mashup theme

Mewtwo MIGHT be representing the metroids seeing as they are both artificially created to be super strong, it might even specifically be an omega Metroid seeing as their body types match up better. Mewtwo could also represent mother, again for both of them being artificially created, but also in this case for their intelligence. Bowser could be representing arachnus which is a boss with a similar stature to bowser and can roll up into its green shell like bowser. Charizard might represent chrocomire from super Metroid which is more fitting if you consider the stage.
If you look at all 3 together however, they could represent the only 3 bosses in the first Metroid, those being mother brain, kraid and Ridley. The only guess I can make as to why they used bowser and Charizard instead of k.rool and Ridley again, is for the sake of variety.
Instead of enemies or bosses, they could also represent some of Samus’ different power-ups. Mewtwo could represent the gravity suit, basically any of the beam upgrades ,apart from the ice beam, and maybe even the scan visor if you wanna stretch it. Bowser could be the morph ball and perhaps ,along with charizard, the varia suit seeing as they both have some level of fire resistance. Charizard as previously said could be the varia suit but also the space jump seeing as using the space jump is basically flying anyway.
