Bill and Kaitlin, thanks for your video.
Its good to mark a center position on the upper edge of the windshield about1/2" to 3/4" in from the edge so that it can be seen when the windshield is in its slots.
Then mark a center position on the aircraft cabin roof skin just at the edge of the skin. When fit checking the windshield ensure that both center marks, (the one on the windshield and the one on the aircraft skin) are adjacent to each other. This will verify that the windshield is centered in the aircraft each time you do fit checking if the windshield needs trimming.
For the final installation it will also mean that the windshield will be centered.
Good tip! We did that but it may have ended up on the cutting room floor. Thanks for watching!

I would like to know more about the sealant you spoke of at the bottom . What is the product name?

Very interesting process of sticking the neoprene rubber weather seal on the edge and rivotting the aluminium.
I'm still amazed by the panel screen printing. That was magic WWII stuff.
Now CNC machining and Lazer etching or stickers?
