Absolutely the best helmet I've ever owned. So comfortable and the aerodynamics at high-speed on the track are incomparable. Great ventilation and being able to adjust the inside lining is so helpful for a perfect fit. Bit noisy, but I wear plugs so that's never an issue for me. But style, fit, adjustability, ventilation, weight, field of view is the best. And I've owned Corsair V's, X12's, Schuberth, Suomy Xtremes and Shark... none come close to the AGV Corsa.
just received my corsa.. too cold to ride in it still, but I'm sure its similar to my GP tech in some ways. i can't wait till it warms up. got my atem jacket, my gp1 gloves, smx boots all form revzilla and I'm ready to rock.

Hi I live in bangkok and the temperature here gets crazy hot. I use Dainese textile jacket for better air flow and heat circulation. The most basic gears u should wear to every occasion are helmet and gloves. A pair set of jeans can prevent small scratches from dropping your bike on stationary lol.
I have the PistaGP. It is BY FAR the most comfortable helmet I've worn. I'm not really familiar with the differences between the Pista and Corsa but I'd imagine the comfort liner/pads are the same. I never knew there was an adjustable liner..i'm not sure if the Pista has that BUT I wear a medium in all my helmets and this just FITS.
I tried one on at Indy when they had a number of Corsa and Pistas available at Dainese booth. I wear a Medium in Shoei X-12, fits great. A GP-Tech is too narrow up top in M for me, really compresses the rear/front of head. The Corsa no longer compresses the front, but the rear is still slightly tight. With the adjustable liner (the reps at Indy did not mention this feature) may solve this issue for me. I hope so, as I hope to get a Corsa for next season. My X-12 is overdue after a spill x2.
I just wanted to provide an update for anyone interested purchasing this helmet, please read my review below so this makes sense. I went to pick up the replacement AGV Corsa last night. I asked my motorcycle dealer to take the pads out for me, so as to avoid any issues if I brought the helmet home and they broke again. Half way through removing them, he said "These are too brittle, I don't want to remove it further." I've had him send the helmet back and will be purchasing an RF1200 instead. The batch number which AGV claims is the only batch which an issue are helmets from: Batch 1 July 2013.
Before you read this, skip to 8:51 in the video. You will see the same problem I describe below demonstrated in front of you. The long white plastic piece attached to the cheek is the female root of the connector that is supposed to be attached to the interior of the helmet. I couldn't be more disappointed with this helmet. Needless to say, with a $750.00 price tag, expectations are high. Out of the box, the helmet is awesome. It looks cool, its light and that's where the shock and awe sends. The first thing that I noticed was the poor construction of the vents which make them difficult to open and close but I looked past it, figured it would get easier to use as I rode in it. Then I began to take the liner out (because they tell you its fully adjustable), to my dismay 3 out of the 8 total plastic connectors that attach to the interior of the helmet broke. Specifically, one of the cheek pads female root connector pulled out of the interior and both of the male connectors that attach the top liner snapped off. Just to reiterate, I was following the instructions and I did not force them. After contacting AGV, they acknowledged this a problem with "some" of the helmets and issued an exchange. The question you need to ask yourself as a buyer, if they are willing to skimp on one part of a helmet that cost $750.00, what else did they do? And do you want to wait till you crash to find out?
i agree, i own an AGV helmet too and for the price, the quality control isn't as high as the price tag. Kind of disappointed because I never bought an AGV helmet before until now, and I was thinking I was buying into the same great quality like Dainese since AGV is owned by Dainese. I think the high price tag is just the high mark up like Dainese, you pay for the cool design, which is the reason i bought the AGV but the quality isn't as high as Dainese. I bought the AGV horizon, nearly $400, but it whistles like hell because the faceshield mechanism is so cheaply made with plastic pieces and it doesn't close tight and the gasket is so thin and flimsy. I don't get how they design a faceshield in such an unsophisticated way, it just moves up and down, it has no tension or any spring that closes tightly against the gasket, and that causes the faceshield to close with uneven pressure since the faceshield only has 1 tab on the left to pushdown, causing the whistle.
Corsa and Pista are bad helmets for hot climates. Visor is only completely open or shut. At 90+ degree temps, it can be stressful to say the least. It's something they never mention

I'm 18 and going to buy my first motorcycle in a few months. I will be a daily commuter around the city, typically from college to home. However, I do want good protection since I am a new rider and I KNOW I will go down one day. What combinations will be good for a daily commuter that isn't a full-on racing suit ? Also i do live in mostly warm weather year-round. Please and thank you ! P.S - WIll definitely be buying all my gear from RevZilla, you guys are so informative and helpful !
Just received my corsa today. A bit lighter than my RF-1200, but it IS louder so wear ear plugs. The weight difference is multiplied on longer rides ofcourse. My neck is loving the lighter corsa.
+David Varela it's tolerable in the hwy if you ride with ear plugs ( which I always do). My shoei rf1200 is quieter, which is what I use for my daily commute.
x3thelast thats what Im deciding. I like the corsa's design much more than the shoei 1200... But in a 30 minute commute un highways without plugs seems unbearable

The one they released today looks pretty similar to this... what did they update exactly? I was expecting some more extreme suit changes today but the stuff that they did implement was really nice.
This helmet is great, however, save your money, get a Veloce. Economically, it's quite similar to the Corsa, vice the aerodynamic spoiler. Vents, liner, visor, and comfort should be the same, however with a Corsa, better field of view in race position and aerodynamics. Cool Rossi graphics come in Corsa, pista, and the cheap K3's. Unfortunately not the Veloce. AGV was smart on this one. I would have definitely bought the Veloce if they had Rossi graphics.
Just picked up this helmet on Closeout for 480 dollars! The original price was 800! Closeout life :) Only thing is I had to get all black so its a little boring to look at it. Need some quality helmet stickers from Rossi, any ideas?
Sorry I meant for that to be a question to Revzilla. Will the velcro adjustable liner allow less compression at the back of the head? I did wear the helmet for about 10 minutes and though it felt slightly tight it didn't cause pain. Do AGV helmets 'break in' after use like the Shoei do? Brand new Shoei helmet always fits tighter than one that's been used, (I've had 4 Shoei lids). Hope to order from RevZilla but need more assurance the helmet won't be a discomfort on track.
Hello,i just bought it from a stock house.So this came in medium small,medium large AND medium???Because i bought the medium but i cant find it elsewhere and that seemed weird to me.Nowadays the corsa R is on sale that has not medium,only MS and ML.That means my helmet was in stock for several years.Does that affect it??

I've read that there is an Asian fit version of the Corsa? Is that a completely different Corsa or is it a different lining that fits in the regular Corsa or am I completely wrong?

However, that would likely have a completely different internal hard EPS foam, so it's not just a matter of a different soft liner. I've been using the Icon Airmada and I measure a medium. I get a serious hot spot on my forehead, should I opt for something like this or the RPHA 10. I'm still trying to figure out my head shape...
I know the whole design of this helmet is based around sport bike track riding in a tuck position, but how would it be on something like a dualsport/supermoto when you're in a more upright position?

Hey Anthony, nice job with the reviews on the Agv helmets.my head size is an exact 22" measured by 2 different people 2 different times, so that should be accurate: However I tried on a medium small Project 46 and it actually jacked my neck up for a few days(way too tight), now that I see your review on the Corsa I think I might save some coin and get it instead since it is almost the same , but if I go a size up and get the regular medium and it is even still too tight can I send it back for a medium large? Jason Miller Per our Return Policy linked below, the answer is yes, you can try on a helmet at home and send it back for a different size within 30 days, provided you haven't ridden in the helmet, it's brand new, and you have all the tags and packaging. As for "year", the Winter Test helmet is being made continuously, so it's not one specific year. I can say that the Winter Test graphic was released in late 2013/early 2014, so less than 18 months. AGV helmets carry a warranty for 7 years from date of manufacture or 5 years from date of purchase, whichever comes first. can you wear this in a 3/4 riding position or only as a full tuck when you're going tracking? I love the light weight,design, ventilation, and the features this helmet offers but I don't go tracking, only street riding.

I myself ride a cruiser BUT I usually ride in more of a forward leaned 3/4 riding position, I like this helmet because it's lightweight and im guessing it offers great comfort and fit, and the best protection, and a thicker visor, but would it be okay for a cruiser rider?
Hello again HVB if you're there! My head size is 58cm-59cm depending on whether I've had a hair cut or not! And I'm a M in the two helmets I've owned (Arai Vector 2, Bell RS1). The fit of the two were snug but not too uncomfortable unless I've been wearing them for hours and hours. Now I've heard the Corsa runs a little tight but it will primarily be a track helmet. With that in mind would you recommend a ML or L in the Corsa? Thank you as always!

@RevZilla I have an Arai Defiant (medium), what AGV helmet would be comparable to the kind of riding for this type of helmet? I never go to the track, and don't go into "Rossi Mode" on the streets either. I have a Super Naked (Triumph Speed Triple R). I have an even mix of city, country backroad, and freeway riding.

They're pretty similar, considering that both shapes are raced in MotoGP. Technically, Rossi and others wear the AGV Pista, not the Corsa, but they have the same shape. The AGV seems to be slightly more aerodynamic than the Arai though. -DrewZilla

I will say that the AGVs are a bit lighter than the GT-Air but also louder. If you want to save weight and don't mind the louder helmet, then go for an AGV. I've read this is a race fit, so a little bit More snug, I wear a size Large for my AGV Horizon which is just a normal fit helmet, would a size Large for the Corsa bit just slightly me snug than the Horizon's large fit?

They're all about the same, honestly, that is to say they're all quite good. It really comes down to which fits you best. All three are intermediate oval, so they all have a relatively similar fit. Of the three helmets, the Shoei is the best value, so personally I'd get the Shoei. -DrewZilla

Netanel The Corsa may be slightly louder, but not by much. Noise levels can be affected by head shape, body position, and how air interacts with the bike, so my experience may differ from yours. It's because AGV is Dainese owned, unfortunately you pay the mark up for the "brand name" and design, for a helmet that is at the same level of another helmet/gear that's maybe $200-300 cheaper. But I have to admit, this top of the line racing helmet is the best looking helmet out of all, compared to arai, shoei, shark, etc
That is my same question. Despite the aerodynamics, I feel the Veloce is the more economic solution. Visors match, ventilation is the same, liner just as adjustable. However, field of view is larger in tuck position, lots of Rossi graphics for the Corsa, including the cool spoiler.

i agree, i own an AGV helmet too and for the price, the quality control isn't as high as the price tag. Kind of disappointed because I never bought an AGV helmet before until now, and I was thinking I was buying into the same great quality like Dainese since AGV is owned by Dainese. I think the high price tag is just the high mark up like Dainese, you pay for the cool design, which is the reason i bought the AGV but the quality isn't as high as Dainese. I bought the AGV horizon, nearly $400, but it whistles like hell because the faceshield mechanism is so cheaply made with plastic pieces and it doesn't close tight and the gasket is so thin and flimsy. I don't get how they design a faceshield in such an unsophisticated way, it just moves up and down, it has no tension or any spring that closes tightly against the gasket, and that causes the faceshield to close with uneven pressure since the faceshield only has 1 tab on the left to pushdown, causing the whistle.

Corsa and Pista are bad helmets for hot climates. Visor is only completely open or shut. At 90+ degree temps, it can be stressful to say the least. It's something they never mention

However, I do want good protection since I am a new rider and I KNOW I will go down one day. What combinations will be good for a daily commuter that isn't a full-on racing suit ? Just received my corsa today. A bit lighter than my RF-1200, but it IS louder so wear ear plugs. The weight difference is multiplied on longer rides ofcourse. My neck is loving the lighter corsa.

The extra vision is great. Like I said, unless you're doing long distances at about 80+ mph you really wont be bothered by the wind noise.

This helmet is great, however, save your money, get a Veloce. Economically, it's quite similar to the Corsa, vice the aerodynamic spoiler. Vents, liner, visor, and comfort should be the same, however with a Corsa, better field of view in race position and aerodynamics. Cool Rossi graphics come in Corsa, pista, and the cheap K3's. Unfortunately not the Veloce. AGV was smart on this one. I would have definitely bought the Veloce if they had Rossi graphics.
Just picked up this helmet on Closeout for 480 dollars! The original price was 800! Closeout life :) Only thing is I had to get all black so its a little boring to look at it. Need some quality helmet stickers from Rossi, any ideas?

I did wear the helmet for about 10 minutes and though it felt slightly tight it didn't cause pain. Do AGV helmets 'break in' after use like the Shoei do? Brand new Shoei helmet always fits tighter than one that's been used, (I've had 4 Shoei lids). Hope to order from RevZilla but need more assurance the helmet won't be a discomfort on track.

Jason Miller Per our Return Policy linked below, the answer is yes, you can try on a helmet at home and send it back for a different size within 30 days, provided you haven't ridden in the helmet, it's brand new, and you have all the tags and packaging. As for "year", the Winter Test helmet is being made continuously, so it's not one specific year. I can say that the Winter Test graphic was released in late 2013/early 2014, so less than 18 months. Hello again HVB if you're there! My head size is 58cm-59cm depending on whether I've had a hair cut or not! And I'm a M in the two helmets I've owned (Arai Vector 2, Bell RS1). The fit of the two were snug but not too uncomfortable unless I've been wearing them for hours and hours. Now I've heard the Corsa runs a little tight but it will primarily be a track helmet. With that in mind would you recommend a ML or L in the Corsa?

They're pretty similar, considering that both shapes are raced in MotoGP. Technically, Rossi and others wear the AGV Pista, not the Corsa, but they have the same shape. The AGV seems to be slightly more aerodynamic than the Arai though. -DrewZilla

It's because AGV is Dainese owned, unfortunately you pay the mark up for the "brand name" and design, for a helmet that is at the same level of another helmet/gear that's maybe $200-300 cheaper. But I have to admit, this top of the line racing helmet is the best looking helmet out of all, compared to arai, shoei, shark, etc
That is my same question. Despite the aerodynamics, I feel the Veloce is the more economic solution. Visors match, ventilation is the same, liner just as adjustable. However, field of view is larger in tuck position, lots of Rossi graphics for the Corsa, including the cool spoiler.
