Hi Chris, nice video, thank you !! One question please : Would you make a video explaining how to make a fade like Hogan please ? Is it a grip posture ? Stance open ? Different swing plane ? Thanks a lot !! Laurent
You have taught that the right shoulder should move on the 90 degree line. So while that is happening the hips/knees should move on the 7.5 degree line? Is that correct? Thank you for all of your teaching!
Chris, I really like this concept but I am trying to better understand the actual hand path as the hands move forward through the ball [more importantly, the feel of the hands as they move on the proper path]. Should the hands endeavor to trace the 7.5 line/stick?
No. The hands should not endeavor to trace the 7.5. They need to be working around the body at all times. If they try to follow the 7.5 you will be swinging slightly out, thus, your hands will be moving away from your rotating body and not following it.
Hi Chris, although you tried very hard to demo your body to rotate to meet 7.5, it is still quite confusing from watching your video. Do you mean rotate your torso or hip or hands position parallel to the 7.5 stick on the ground?
I notice your trail elbow never really gets stuck against your side. It always has a slight space between your rear elbow and shirt. Great example .. I’m doing what you are but the trail elbow has been getting a little too stuck on my side. And that has been preventing me from turning properly
7.5 degrees is essentially a one second tick on a watch... how in the world would that make a difference? You appear to have the line more like 25-30 degrees right of your toe line. And one other point, Hogan's stance was closed on every club with the sometime exception of the wedges, though he often hit them with a close stance. This per Demaret, Chandler Harper etc, and recall Palmer, Snead, Tommy Armour and many others also had closed stances.
Visually not even close to 25 to 30°. Just set the rod 7.5° open from the toe line in a neutral stance, that is the reference point. If you open and close the stance for different shots just use the reference. How it makes a difference is 10 fold for the way your body should move. A lot tighter movement than what must recreational players realize. It forces the body to move from the inside, plain and simple.
I wish you would use a real golf club in your demonstration’s. It is more beneficial to see where the club face is as it moves around your body. That ball on the end of a stick doesn’t show me anything. Thanks.
How so? The demonstration is clear as day. Put a rod or club on the ground and to the inside of it in the dowsing, tighter movement and better rotation is what you will feel.
That helps explain the line. Thanks
Glad it helped!

Will do. Thanks for watching.
@@NoMoreSecrets.BenHogan thanks a lot, because i always draw the ball naturally when i follow hogan’s indication in his Five lesson book. Thanks
My big miss is a hook! I’d love to fade the ball at will!!
To get this angle right our Body weight or pressure is inside the trial n lead foot *heels* ?? I'm right ??
Yes.

Correct. it keeps everything moving inwards towards your body. The only thing going out to the golf ball is the clubhead.
@@NoMoreSecrets.BenHogan Thanks for the response. Much appreciated

is this essentially just opening your stance a slight bit?
No it is not.
Clarification please...in another video the right shoulder goes down the 90 degree line in this video it goes down the 7.5 degree line. Thanks. Gerry
Goes down the 90. The intent is for you to feel as though you are running/sprinting down the 7.5

Torso and hips.
This also helps a person stop sliding or making “ too” much of a lateral move .
Thanks for the input. I agree.

Feel like it is working around your body and not into it.
Uh ha! Have to try tomorrow at range.
Let us know how it goes.
Why 7.5 and not 8 or 7 or 10 or 5 ? Thanks
7.5 is one sixth of 45

Agree 100% with your statement
Right like wtf😂
100%
Got to be a better way to explain stuff ffs

Why is it 7.5 and not just zero to be tighter? Is it because it is rotational and not lateral and to rotate left you star with the right side?
