I personally owns the original trilogy in Grindhouse blu ray, with raw 35MM scan. Scratches and cuts are presents, but it's the true version of the movies. Which I find perfect. They're totally fine the way they are. And I'm also gonna get the special edition trilogy Grindhouse blu rays. I'll be able to compare in HD both versions. I can't make a comparison video like yours yet, but I will. Grindhouse special edition video. I also own the 2006 dvds, just for a proposer official OG trilogy release beside the rest.

Nice, do you think Disney will release it officially when George Lucas is no longer around?

@@VideoTasties I tend to think that yes they will. Nothing will be on their way anymore, so, they will content us with the so long awaited theatrical versions. I'm really pumped to see if it's going to happen. It better be, 'cause, we deserve it

    Star Wars before McClunky!
To be honest, I kinda prefer most of the Special Edition additions, but having Han shoot first, hurts his character arc later in the film... After all, Han Solo is a bounty hunter and not necessarily a "good" guy when we first see him.

It's nice to see the 1977 vs. George Lucre editions. Is it better? It's busier, which photographically is a Minus.;) Over the years, I've come to the conclusion that if George Lucas wants to clutter up his "Director's Cut," fine, but let us have the "bare 1977" version, too. (After all, there are Director's Cut vs. Theatrical versions for "Alien" (1979) and "Aliens" (1986) on the market.

That is true there are bootleg versions but I imagine Disney would release the original version the day after George dies
