28. Large Roof Section COLLAPSE on Historic Building

Due to the unstable nature of this building we had to collapse the remaining roof section of this historic building. First job of the day was to rebuild the telehandler from arm. The Hydraulic ram had split on the welded seam. A few days before we had removed the ram and repaired in the workshop.
The team then started work on the roof section that needed collapsing. We cut the roof truss timbers to help with the collapse. The roof truss was ridged with a rope so we could pull the roof truss over using an excavator. After a few attempts we managed to collapse the roof truss.
