Yes. Life is not about destination but journey. How well you live your journey matters and what you do with it you shall experience the consequences of it.
and the analogy is fine until you add in other factors such as some fruits have to be cared for prior to the roots gaining strength... such as some fruits and vegetables require special incubation methods to insure optimal growth. Some require hardening off prior to transplanting. Others yet require special stalk strengthening and correction.. and some require pruning and care of the substrate. Sure you can throw seeds onto the soil and walk away for 3 or 4 years and come back and you may have some a handful of trees or plants but it will not be the optimal output.

I love listening to the wisdom Sadhguru shares and how he will always try to explain it clearly in a way people can relate to it. I gain new understanding of so much, on a much deeper level or higher level each time. It’s as if my mind were an onion and each time a skin is peeled away that was blocking me and I see everything much more clearly, and it always seems so relevant to exactly what I’m going through. Very deep and thought provoking as expected. 🙏🏻💚🙏🏻 At 53:50, the talk about 3 survival needs or aspect of human being: Out of these 3, putting off the need for food and sex have been addressed in many ways. The source to take care of those needs are outside our body, so it's easy to understand. However, the need for sleep is different because the source to satisfy it is the act of sleeping, and it's inside our body. The question is how to put that off or is it even right to do that or we should just let our body shut down and sleep whenever we feel sleepy.(different than feeling hungry or sexually aroused). I wish Sadhguru had explained that, too.

I believe Tony and Sage Are amazing individuals, they are so full of love. This video has shown me 2 humans doing everything in their power to continue to grow and learn. Please notice as tony takes many notes. This man is a multibillionaire who helps others grow daily. Let this teach you the truth. Identify as someone who is always ready to learn. no matter the situation. this may not work for everyone, but I am certain if you commit whole heartedly to this. you will see things differently. even if only in the smallest way.

What I understand: U do the best for people u like i.e. identify with and not for others so
The size of ur involvement with life gets restricted by ur identities
But
Your identities ( eg race,religion,colour,caste,creed etc everything we fight over) only exist in your mind soo
When u create the space between u and ur mind,u and ur body, ur experience goes beyond these identities in one shot and a global/universal identify dawns on us which by definition will bind us all..Only then can we all work together as one force against the greatest challenges we face today..

At 53:50, the talk about 3 survival needs or aspect of human being: Out of these 3, putting off the need for food and sex have been addressed in many ways. The source to take care of those needs are outside our body, so it's easy to understand. However, the need for sleep is different because the source to satisfy it is the act of sleeping, and it's inside our body. The question is how to put that off or is it even right to do that or we should just let our body shut down and sleep whenever we feel sleepy.(different than feeling hungry or sexually aroused). I wish Sadhguru had explained that, too.

I am " a consciousness" like an ocean, and my body is like a fish swimming in it. Water is all around me, the medium through which I pass. The water flows in the gills of the fish, all the gills of my fish go through... and the ocean is one. I experienced and felt what I went through from a different perspective. As evidence to erase all memories in our bodies, leave only the consciousness, then connect our consciousness, and feel who we are??.
