Michael Jordan only had 11 full seasons with the bulls. All of them are on the list. In 1986 he broke his leg three games into the season and in 1995 he was coming back from baseball at the end of the season

    • @tiredoffools8929
      @tiredoffools8929 ปีที่แล้ว +7

Facts. 1985-86 Season MJ only played 18 games that "Season," and he only played 17 games that 1994-95 "Season" he returned from his first retirement. Combined those games total 35 which isn't even half a full season. So what MJ did in his 11 full seasons with Bulls is truly another level.

@@tiredoffools8929 and the majority of those 18 games that he played he was on like 16 minutes max playing time because the coaches were still worried about his legs

Yep...He only played 18 games in 86-87 and only okayed the last 17 games of the 94-95 season.
      Per game all-time at his position MJ is 1st pts,1st blk,2nd stl,3rd reb & 5th in ast.
That’s top 5 in every category, top 3 in 4 outta 5 categories. He’s the only only player in nba history to accomplish that.
Per game all time at his position Lebron is 1st ast,2nd pts,9th stl,13th reb & 17th in blk.
That’s top 5 in two categories, top 3 in two categories.Great but not on MJ’s level clearly.Especially his defensive and rebounding numbers. The only category Lebron better’s MJ relative to their position is assist. We all already knew/know that because that is the ONLY thing Lebron has ever
      ‘had on MJ’.
MJ is #1 all-time in P.E.R. in both regular season and playoffs.
He’s #1 all-time in win shares per game in both regular season and playoffs.
He’s #1 all-time in BPM in both regular season and playoffs.
He’s #1 all-time in VORP per game in both regular season and playoffs.
He has the most scoring titles all-time.
He made the most all-def 1st teams all-time.
He lead the league in scoring and made all-def 1st team *at the same time 9 times*.
Wilt,Russell,Kareem,Bird,Lebron,Magic,Kobe,Hakeem,Shaq,Steph,Kd never did it once. Not one time
He has the most trophies all-time with 22 in 1,072 games.
For context Bill Russell and his 11 championships is 2nd all-time with 17 trophies in 963 games.
Lebron is 3rd all-time with 16 in 1,411 games so far.
Kareem is 4th all-time with 15 trophies in 1,560 games.
And for the brand new Wilt fans out there he’s 10th all-time with 9 trophies in 1,045 games.
There is no debate...except for the fake one nick wright and shannon sharpe have been pushing for yearS now.

@@jeromrharris1126 Yes, but he only played 11 FULL seasons, he played less than 20 games in 2 of those seasons. 1 because he broke his foot in the third game of the’85-‘86 season, and in the ‘94-‘95 season when he came back with 18 games left in the season. His wizards years don’t count, as he was past his prime and bored.

Hard to find a younger fan using logic, thought, common sense like you did in this reaction...well done...I will say tho that a good "run" can be without a ring/MVP...ex) Stockton and Malone are all time greats and never won a ring...because of MJ...but their dominant seasons definitely deserve recognition ring or not....keep up the good work brother!
Also, I do stats for a living and check this out:
Of the all-time-leaderboard top 10's below...(as in how many times they LED the NBA in the category in their career - top 10 of these categories)
All-Time Leaderboard #1 spots (led the NBA more times than anyone else)
MJ Leads 12 of 21 categories he is in
Wilt Leads in 7 of 22 categories he is in
Kareem Leads in 4 of 15 categories he is in
LJ tied for 1st in value over replacement player with MJ at 9x - soon to have the all-time points record
So LJ is tied for first in ONE category...he will soon lead in TWO (all time points) but that's only because he's done it over 20yrs which Kareem did as well...great accomplishment but does NOT make him the goat...Karl Malone and Kobe have always had more points than Jordan but no one has said Karl Malone is the GOAT. Not to mention that the other three are in waaaaay more categories, so they've led the NBA in MORE categories MORE times than any other player...that speaks volumes.
Wilt is actually in 1 more category than MJ...but no one leads #1 in as many categories as MJ at 12 for how many times they led the NBA in their career in the category...almost double Wilt...LJ isnt even in the conversation imo...and the reason LJ doesn't lead more categories? MJ....MJ is 1st to LJ's 2nd in Box+/-, Offensive Box +/-, and tied in Value over replacement player...Lebron doesnt even make it past #4 in the other categories except for #3 in minutes played and minutes per game....

86' He was injured and played 18 games
95' was his come back from retirement and only played 17 games.

  • @katrinachavez3533

Great reaction youngster. I've bled the purple & gold since Magic's rookie season, and he's my favorite player all-time. And like that GOAT debate, it's not even close. I was fortunate to have witnessed prime MJ in person a few times and I've done same with Bron, and I find it comical that they're compared. Forget the stats, chips, accolades, etc. Just look at the player, which majority of ex and current NBA players do, and that's why they view MJ as the GOAT. Jordan had the faster twitching muscles which granted him the superior raw athleticism, hand-eye coordination, reflexes, bounce, hang-time, mid-air body control, aerial acrobatics, artistry, creativity, etc. MJ also had the superior fundamentals taught to him by a highly-esteemed Univ. dean. Jordan was much more competitive. He was a lot more tenacious. We all know Bron is passive. MJ also had that maniacal mental of killers in serial. While Bron's mental is Vagisil vaginal. Only the bias, infinite ignorant and envious (Thomas/Pippen) view Bron as the GOAT.

The reason he uses ALLSTAR MVP versus League MVP is because the League MVP didn't always go to the true MVP. It is extremely political. The Allstar MVP, however is a bunch of All-STARS playing against each other for individual competition amongst the best of the best. So it is more relevant than a bunch of sports writers not giving the truly deserving MVP the award. In this video it showed not only MJ got robbed, but so did Kobe.
Also think about how high DWADE was on this list and how he played with Bron an Bosh all in their primes. Contrast that with Pippen who wasn't even on the list.

    • @scottb3034
      @scottb3034 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Pippen has an extremely low PER for an all-time great. To put it into context, people always complain Lebron had no help in the 07 finals but Big Z's career PER is 141st....Pippen's is 132nd (or it was when I checked a year or 2 ago). Pip also was robbed of DPOY in 1996 (but I guess that is balanced out by getting an ASMVP in 94). Besides defensive teams Pip just didn't have the numbers to climb the list (which I guess makes this a flaw of the list because Pippen always had stellar seasons he just didn't have any single outrageous category because of his role on the team and jack of all trades play style). Maybe if Pippen had more seasons in his prime as the solo star before his back gave out he'd be higher up.
That said, agree that people don't give wade enough credit for his heat career before the alliance and even during the alliance.

You're not getting it, bro. Multiple things are pushing for the narrative that Lebron is the greatest. 1) The media need Lebron or someone currently in the league to be presented as the greatest to keep the hype up. Hype sells. Hype makes money. 2) People want to believe that what they're seeing is the greatest that there is and ever was. To the younger generation, that would be Lebron. People who grew up with MJ, typically see MJ as the GOAT (which I think he is). 3) There are people who did witness MJ but that was so long ago and are now seeing Lebron may have recency bias.
When someone argues with you on Lebron vs Jordan, show them Jordan's side using 1) the Voyager (for Jordan) and 2) Breaking down the meme games (by Angry Old Hoops) to show the difference between the 2. Or any of the AOH videos really about Lebron. That should shut them up.
