Thank you for inviting Doomberg. Their team produces the best quality writing with excellent, prescient ideas, and they truly deserve to be number one!

"In any system of energy, Control is what consumes energy the most.
No energy store holds enough energy to extract an amount of energy equal to the total energy it stores.
No system of energy can deliver sum useful energy in excess of the total energy put into constructing it.
This universal truth applies to all systems.
Energy, like time, flows from past to future" (2017).

Great Stuff - I must admit, I have it play behind me on a second computer, and I laugh when I turn around and see a shocked wide eyed bird looking at me . . .😀

The thing about substack that is weird -
I won’t give the NYT a dollar for an annual sub. I’ve bought 3 doomberg annual subs (one was a gift) and have gotten my moneys worth.
    It just hits different.

Seems crazy to totally abandon Twitter. How much time does it take to post once a day or every other day? At least to somewhat stay in touch

Glad TH-cam allows you to correct titles - doonberg doesn’t have the same ring to it. But the green chicken always produces a high clickthrough rate for me. Thanks both of you.

Can anyone tell me, what this app called 'Notes' looks like in the app store for my android phone? I went looking for this app now but no sign of anything like that.

1:02:25 1:02:30 1:02:33 Wind and solar aren't merely the most-expensive fuels. They are infinitely-expensive fuels, on a sustained basis.

Wind and solar are the cheapest way to make expensive electricity, in the same way that tents are the cheapest form of housing.

I'm not a content creator as Doomberg and Robert Bryce are but long time readers and viewers of theirs. It seems to me that there is still increasing integration of social media platforms but DEF agree that the level of intellectual (or lack of) toxicity and partisanship is fundamentally shaping 'allowable' content on these platforms. The trend will reshape not just online social platforms but state demographics and politics also in a very fundamental way.
Re: the US debt, time after time and analyst after analyst repeatedly say that irrespective of the ponzi scheme (although they don't use that inflammatory descriptor) US Treasuries are still the only game in the global town. And despite recognition of potential lemming effect of these views, given the amount of US $$s (which is estimated at over $400t) that the world is awash in, it has funded and will continue to fund much of global growth for an inestimable amount of future time. True especially given the state of global country economics.

Dethroning of dollar hegemony is going to be a truly exogenous event in the world of finance and trade. Unlike 1991 , there won't even be a cold war this time around. US in a very weak position internally and externally, and in no position to put up a fight.

Yes, Twitter is very depressing atm... Great to see the Green Chook, great content Biden the same as Reagan? Looking from the outside of US politics, Manchin would be a great change Living close to Taiwan, I hope the tension eases... common sense breaks thru
