Thank you SO much for these tips. I just used my Lishi hU92 for the first time and was able to decode the door lock of a 2007 Mini Cooper in under 6 minutes. I believe i was able to this because of the great information that you provide. Thank you for sharing your skills and knowledge.
Had a door unlocking the other night and the windows were to black to attempt the reach tool. So enroute I listened to this video and when you said an hour your first time I was worried. Luckily got it in 15 minutes thanks to you!!!! Appreciate!!
I spent the day yesterday with an HU64. I just needed to find a good technique. This is what I found to be my best method!! It really is easy once you get it and figure out the tension, realizing when wafers are sticking and getting them to spring unstuck.
I spent a couple hours on a GMC Yukon with a HU100 Lishi and since it was for the emergency key and I had to come back for a second fob, I finally gave up for that trip. When I came back I went at it again and had it picked and decoded before too long.
Great video in fact so helpful but How u write down the code for cutting this is also important if we want to give the code to the key smith to make the key we need the code written
Great video, thanks! Are you able to tell me which Lishi I need for my e30 BMW please? I've searched and am not sure. I guess it is the HU92. My key code is HU50AP or BM1P. Any help is greatly appreciated!
@@BoredLockpicker thank you bored lock picker, every car I do the locks are either seized or damaged in some way. If people used the blade now and then instead of remote all the time keys would be quite easy ha 🤣🤣
@@BoredLockpicker well the window on the BMW had to go as cleared the lock out several times with cleaning fluid. No no.8 found in Lishi and lock would not turn at all, car totally deadlocked so frustrating.. 😡😡
the size and the thousand dollar price difference. mainly the size though. I wanted the smaller one. limited space in the work truck. If had one for a shop I'd get the bigger one without the battery. I've had this machine for about six months and so far I really like it.
I've never seen the book. and like a key the tool can be inserted either direction. You choose which direction based on which way you're trying to pick it.
Lock pickings Gal nah I don’t. I’ve never broke one but they cost so little that one job turns a decent profit so If one does break it’s honestly no big desk replacing it
If you turn the tool over you will be picking towards the numbers, but if you still pick it counterclockwise the numbers will be facing the ground making it hard to read. As long as you pay attention and/or read them in order after picking it doesn’t matter which way you do it.
Got my KW1 today. Was super excited to finally have one and holy crap talk about the biggest disappointment in my life. Attempted a single lock which is was unable to open, and then it was destroyed. One time use I guess smh
Wow. I’ve been using Lishi tools for 7-8 years. I have over a hundred of them. I’ve yet I break one. The Kw1 imo is one of the easiest to use. I use it all the time.
Probabaly the easiest lishi to use. I use it 5 to 10 times a day for lockouts and usually have it in less than a minute. I've bent the pick (not the frame) by applying too much pressure on one kw1 but that's out of about 800 picked.
@@BoredLockpicker cy24 , FO38 , GM 39 and quite a few other reads like a charm. Remember we agreed b111 was a nightmare. I have a very difficult time reading the lishi when it can clearly read 2 different numbers on a read

I've spent about 4 hours trying to pick this lock, finally got it 5 min after watching this video. Thanks for the tips!
Glad it helped! These are actually pretty easy. Just have to constantly increase tension as you set wafers.
Your tip to use lots of tension saved me man. Very much appreciated! Thankyou! 😊

nice work! keep practicing they will all become pretty easy
You taught me to pick thank you this is one of the only picks I haven't done yet. But did I hear you say try flow? Not Houdini for you?
Triflow is what I’ve always used but Houdini is good too. And it’s cheaper.
When decoding these these are they like VW in all the numbers add up to an even number ?
Huh?
Is it counter clockwise still, even for the newest BMWs?
Far as I know
Hi, how do u know that the odd numbers are on the bottom and the even are on the top?
You can feel them.
Thanks again for shearing can you please provide me the good link to buy those lishes.
Coz got hy20 from mk3 and was not good enough.
I buy most of mine from American key supply

You could give them the numbers you got from the tool. They can input that directly into the key machine.
do u recommend a specific brand of lishi to buy thanks
Original Lishi is the only one that does any research and development but I don’t endorse any of them.
@@BoredLockpicker can u tell me where u bought urs plz thanks
Is it the same process for trying to turn right? Or would you switch anything?
Same
Do you know if it works on 2012 mini cooper? Because on uhs it shows up to 2010. So I'm not sure if this is the right lishi
What key blank does that vehicle use?
A very good pick with the Lishi. What was the second arm do pick the top pins ?
yep. the double lifter has an arm for up and one for down. theres some lishis with four lifters. high security toyota and kia
What does HU92 stands for? Are there different HU for bmw?
It’s just the silca name for the blank. BMW also has hu58 and hu100R
Is there a list that tells you which pick goes with which lock?
Gary Rumain it just goes by the silca key blank. You can look that up by vehicle on a lot websites
@@BoredLockpicker Ah, I see. So it's not so much about the car but the key profile they use.
Gary Rumain exactly. Here in the states we don’t use silca so I have always have to look them up but it’s not hard to do. There’s a lot of resources.
@@BoredLockpicker The Silca catalog, at least online, lists the comparative codes.

@@BoredLockpicker it's a 1984 so quite old!
No Lishi for it. If you have a key code you don’t need a Lishi though
@@BoredLockpicker that makes sense. Thanks!
Can you also start the engine with the lishi
Only if the vehicle doesn’t have an immobilizer system.
Picking a 1 series 2009 it picks 1,3,5,7. Then 2,4,6 but there is nothing on 8 at all. I'm wondering if it's sticking?. Thanks

Does the lishi book give instruction on this procedure? I wouldn’t have been able guess that the tool had to go inside the key way upside down.

Why do you pick on the line that has no number? Arent you supposed to go down on 2-4-6-8 and up on 1-3-5-7
