Hey ! I want to know that do they provide any laundry services or washing machine to do laundry?
There is a laundry room where do u it all by urself!
Are there any time restrictions or curfew that the students have to follow or you can go out and come back anytime?
No restrictions at all at the myriad. But it’s definitely safe!
is the shuttle service ,gym and gaming etc for free? and is there a grocery store in the myriad?
Yes it’s included in your rent! There is a mini supermarket but also near the area there are other grocery stores! You could also go to silicon oasis which is like 5 minutes away with a cab!

Yes free for student living there everything's included in one package
I have a few questions :
1) which uni did u study in and is it good ?
2)how far is the uni from the myriad accommodation?
3)how much is the accommodation per year for single room? Because in the uni website I can’t find the price.
4)regarding the kitchen, how does everyone in each floor fit ? And where should someone store all of his kitchen needs like pan,spices,…etc Bcz it seems like the room doesn’t have place for those stuff.
1. Studied in middlesex. For psychology with counseling skills yes it was good!
2. 30-40 minutes by bus! 20-25 minutes by car
3. The prices have changed now I would suggest you check their website for accurate prices
4. There are wardrobes in the kitchen. However they are limited. So first come first reserve basis. Not everyone cooks and you won’t get to meet everyone from your floor tbh!

I had a few questions if you could answer those- the wardrobe looked pretty small according to a twin room, so does each roommate get an equal size of the wardrobe or is it one big and one small? Please let me know that♥️ and also how does the kitchen area works? When there are so many students per floor and only 1 cooking area, what’s the system with that?
hey so regarding the kitchen most of them don't cook so u won't even realize that there are a lot of students living on the same floor. Regarding the wardrobe, each roommate gets one door to keep their clothes in it ( which includes a hanger section, 2 drawers, a small area below the drawers, and one on top of the hanger section). Hello, if I may ask, if you live in a twin room whereby you live with another student, do you pay half of the house rent and your romm mate pays the other half? Or do you both pay the stated house rent.
Hey so for the double sharing room is around 2000aed per month for the sharing room for each person! And currently there is no roommate due to corona situation, but the price remains the same 🔥
How long can we live? Is it only for a monthly or we can have it for longer like 3 or 4 months?
You can live as long as you want! As far as u are a student or doing some internship!
hey so just curious, if i were to only stay there for 10 months a year for uni and not stay there for 2 months for holidays, do i still have to pay rent for the 2 months of not being there or..how does that work?@@TasneemAlfarsy

yess. There are buses and you could also use careem/uber to book a taxi ride.

Food you can cook or order via food delivery apps

Hi tasneem. I had couple of questions about the living.
1. For laundry, where is it? Is it Self Service?
2. How much do we pay for the laundry and clothes wash?
3. Is electricity and air condition included in the room rent?
4. Do people come to do room cleaning, if they come, how much is it?
3. Can men n women swim together in the pool and use the gym at the same time?
5. For food, is there a fixed monthly charge or do we pay every time we eat?
1. Laundry is usually ground floor and it’s part of your rent. However there is a limited amount. Of coupons you get every time you want to wash your clothes.
2. There is no payment. Unless its changed now!
3. Yes it is! Once you pay for your rent all the other services are included.
4. Yes they do once a week. Payment is part of your rent!
5. Yes they can but there are also men and women timings differently for those that aren’t comfortable enough!
@@gia3832 your food fully depends on you! There is no any meal plan included on your rent! You either choose to use the canteen, order food via the apps (to know more about which apps to use and further guide on living in dubai check out my playlist ‘Student Guide’ I have answered those questions) or you have an option to buy groceries and cook (grocery store options are also listed on the same vlog under the playlist of ‘student guide’)
