Lesson has been learnt! Never going back to that bloke. I went in thinking I'd hit the jackpot. Really glad I stuck to my guns / buying habits and said no to it all. You make you're money from the strong purchase.. this guy was never going to help me! Thanks for tuning in mate, love to hear from fellow local resellers! Hope you're dominating mate!
Just want to point out that the red canister vacuum you can see at 18:41 (if that's a Miele it was worth the $30 all day). I picked one up in the bins for like $5 and ended up making almost $300 (parting it out).
Dude! That first GS was epic! WOW! That 2nd one; seems like he does this already and knows his sauce. If he does get sales, well worth it… as NO FEE’s hahah! :P This video was EPIC I love seeing the HUNT then the finds! Awesome stuff. Thomas the The Tank I saw in some of the GS's you went too; they have done me some good justice in the past. Especially the old wooden toys, with magnets at front/back. Love it man! Keep rocking!
Maaaaa Man! Happy Monday brother hope you had an awesome weekend. Happy with these finds for sure. Some really good resell value in them - now I've got to sit back and list them all as best I can! Thomas the Tank is a huge resell item, I'm pleased to hear you've made a few off them. That guy just knew his resell prices and there wasnt any margin to play with! Always appreciate you tuning in and leaving a comment mate! Have an awesome week, speak again soon!
@@TheAussieFlipper yo yo ! Thanks mate! Yea was half and half - had to work, little time for my own hustles. Yea that guy was a DREAMER but all makes sense if he is a reseller. haha! Surprising to see like that at a GS. Happy to be hear man and already keen for your next video :) haha! Question maybe to add to tips and tricks is "process / workflow" for listing, or sorting, or managing your buys, sells and in between?
Appreciate the love & support of the channel brother! 414 subs! woohoo, you're growing fast man! Keep charging.. absolutely love to see you crushing it! Keep working hard!
Awesome video Matt! So cool to see what's out there in the gold coast 🙏🏻 Obviously you gotta leave this guys sale with prices like that on those items at a garage sale 🤣 Love the furniture pick ups hope they go well for you 🙏🏻
Thanks for the support as always legend! Some cool finds on Saturday! I love a good garage sale hunt! Fingers crossed the furniture can move this week :)
So good! I may start doing that - the Nerf guns are an awesome space to get into especially this time of year! Hope the sales are going well mate! Thanks again for tuning in and dropping a comment, it's always very much appreciated :)
No wayyyyyy!! so many dollars gone! They are a great flip item to be on the look out for. Those old school bands are worth a decent dollar! Thanks for tuning in to this one, it is very much appreciated :)
Hey Bailey thanks for the support mate glad you’re enjoying the vids. Solely Facebook marketplace.. a lot of listings there to get you through a morning. I check Friday nights then during the morning to see any new listings then go visit :)
Love the vid. How was his Hotwheels priced? You can make good money on some. I used to collect them. But way to many collectors now. It's hard to find stuff and everyone thinks every car they have is worth a thousand dollars 🤣😂🤣
That first garage sale was nice, especially for 20. There's a lot of profit there! Too bad about the second one. No deals to be made there for a reseller on your side of the camera 😂
Great video Matt! :) Few questions; 1. How do you find garage sales? 2. How do you do your negotiating, do you add up their prices and take off a certain %? 3. The year on plushes, is it on the tag and what’s considered good? 4. You left the Metallica CD!? Not really a question, just sad :-P
Hey Noelle, thanks so much for tuning in as always! :) 1. Facebook Marketplace & the local newspaper classifieds section (online) are the 2 best! 2. I go to them first and ask what their 'best' price is. Then I drop them even lower with my offer 3. It's on the tag usually, always look for tags information (manufacturer, year etc.) just helps with the comps. It's all dependent on the toy and the first year of production. Every case is different so it's crucial to comp search. The Barney plush on Thursday was $1,000 for a 92 plush and $25 for a 93 plush haha! 4. So many CD's I really should have just bought them all - all great value! Love Metallica myself so definately a miss! Thanks for watching!
Hey Jennifer! :) Thanks so much for tuning in, I found a 2nd Martian plush the very next day as well! Had never come across one before this weekend, crazy! Hope you're having an awesome sales week :)
Yeah I knew as good as it was I couldnt take advantage of anythingggg. So frustrating. I won't be going back to his sales again. All the power to him though, he's got the stock and he's selling it for what it's worth. Just not for you & me! Thanks for tuning in!
Heavy means quality - generally cheap furniture is light weight. Solid wood is worth more. So if someones in the market for quality furniture, heavy is a big +
Thanks for watching! I knew the value of these vinyl's but wanted to gauge his price because there weren't any price tags. Played dumb to get out of the conversation. For me it was priced too high to even begin negotiation. I could be wrong but the feeling I got from this seller was everything was marked up..
Hey legend! I wish I had the time! It takes me about 5 hours to get a video published, 3 per week is stretching me as it is unfortunately! I'll do the What Sold videos fortnightly now mixed in with a garage sale video! Hope you're doing well with your sales man! Appreciate the support of the channel & dropping a comment on the vid! Thanks mate!
@@TheAussieFlipper I’ve binge watched a ton of your videos. Sometimes it makes me cringe when you are trying to get people to drop prices on a $5 item when you know you’ll get $30 on eBay. Probably why I could never get into this business. I just couldn’t do that to people to make myself extra cash. Too soul destroying for me.
@@TattooedAussieChick this isn’t the game for you then. Negotiation is a massive element to most bartering purchase opportunities. Sellers expect it and I accept a no gracefully every time. If you break down that $30 sale on eBay: postage $7.50, fees $5. So it’s a $17.50 sale price. If I can get an item for $5 instead of $10 as an example that’s a huge difference. Not to mention the time it takes to prep the item for photos (cleaning), list the item, correctly ship the item. These vendors receive cash while I have to pay GST & tax. Hopefully this deepens your understanding of what that ‘$30’ eBay sale actually means
@@TheAussieFlipper so you’re registered for GST with the ATO? Wow. I had no idea you earned so much from flipping. But yes I do agree this isn’t the game for me to get into. Lucky I have a full time job and I’m old. The only thing I’m thinking about now is retirement lol
@@TattooedAussieChick it’s a fantastic way to make side income. I’d consider buying from places like op shops instead as there isn’t the opportunity to negotiate
