We have made it! Greece has been on the bucket list for YEARS and today we are checking that one off! And no better way to see the Cycladic Greek Islands than from our own private sailboat! We left Dubrovnik, Croatia and flew Aegean Air through Athens to the Island of Mykonos! Immediately after arriving we headed to the dock to board the most beautiful catamaran captained by Artemios from Mykonos On Board! We had the greatest time sailing by the smaller islands of Delos and Rineia, throwing anchor to swim, and grill up an authentic Greek meal! We caught the most breathtaking sunset as we headed back in to Mykonos for the night. What an incredible start to our time here in Greece!

People always ask where is the #1 place to visit on my bucket list and you are there. Spectacular first day on the water, sunset, moon, you experienced it all.
Greece is my absolute favorite country in the world and have travelled to over 60 countries. In terms of the sea I think it has the best waters , simply gorgeous.. Enjoy the rest of the islands, all stunning (by the way Aegean Airlines - that you liked - is the largest Greek carrier and has been voted best European Airline for 7-8 years in a row now)
When you are in Santorini make sure you do the hike from Fira to Oia. It is the most breathtaking hike along the Caldera. It is about 10km walk. You can also walk out to Skaros Rock. This was the best hike we did in Greece. Start early in the morning as there is no shade and it gets pretty hot. Wear good walking shoes. It is a mix of dirt hiking trails and paved paths and it is hilly!!!!
Mediterranean/Greek food is some of THE BEST food on the planet!!!! We love it and we have never even been!!!

What a beautiful boat and time. I have always wanted to visit Greece also. So, I am going to visit it through the two of you. My brother in law is Greek. His family came to the Us from Mykonos. You have to Spanakopita (spinach pie) love it.
This is awesome! I'm taking notes since my hubby and I have plans to explore 5 islands and the first one is staying at Mykonos for 3 days! Can't wait for April 2023 to get here!

you have to try " Pastitsio " ( it's a Greek version of lasagna ) .... and I know you love desserts , forgo the Baklava and try " Galatoburiko " it is the most delicious dessert ever

I went to Greece and Italy for my honeymoon. Loved Santorini. Also recommend some time in Athens and a drive to Meteora from there. The Greek monasteries in Meteora are amazing.

I love Greece. I've been to Samos, Rhodes and Crete. Why don't you rent scooters. That's the way most people go around and is probably less expensive The bus works too, but with the scooter you have more freedom. The catamaran tour was rad. Have lots of fun. Can't wait to see more of your adventures. Love from Holland.

That was so cool and hearing you talk about all the ancient things I have a question Daniel was talking about get about the stairs and the stairs and those things back in that time and that time wet that stuff was built did they have elevators or were elevators even a think just wondered cause that was really cool right on that book and see all that And the food looks good
Another beautiful place to go is Saipan, it’s in the Mariana islands which you probably already know. It’s 5 miles wide and 10 miles long and they love Americans. We took a glass bottom boat to an island called Monicaha, Not sure the spelling of that island but when you came up it looked like the island from Gilligan’s Island and you can spend the day there it was so much fun. We stayed for a week and we took at evening cruise out on the ocean and have dinner it was so much fun

Omg Greece yes!!! So excited for you, Greece is amazing. I have only been to two Greek islands (Zakynthos and Corfu) but loved them both .. As for recommendations, the most incredible thing we've done in Greece was visit shipwreck beach (Navagio Beach) on Zakynthos. You can only get there by boat but it was so cool. It does attract a lot of tourists (and for good reason) but it's relatively big and I'd guess it's a lot quieter now that it's September (most European schools start back up first week of September - here in the UK our kids start back tomorrow) so yeah I think you'll definitely have some quieter times in Greece without all the UK tourists 😂 So yeah if you ever get chance to visit the shipwreck I'm sure you'd love it there 😍
I spent a couple of weeks on Corfu, Ermones Beach Hotel, many many decades ago as a youth...it was beautiful, and most special Greek salad i have ever tasted...and that's from someone who has spent most of his summers on a Croatian island so was already used to the beauties of the Mediterranean...
Are you going to Naxos? If so will you be hiking Mount Zeus? That will be on our bucket list when we get to Naxos april 2023

wish I knew you were going to Greece since you could of went to a house for a homemade greek meal (warning you will gain many pounds). sisters friend graduated from HS had to go to greece for an arranged marriage. It worked out great and she had 2 kids and now a grandchild, they would of invited you to stay with them, they are considered wealthy on the island so you would of had a wonderful stay and been pampered. Hope I see them in streets on your adventure. have a GREAT, FUN time

I think greece has the most wonderful blu water in the world! I’ve bene there twice, Mykonos, Santorini, Rhodes, Kos… just breathtaking! I’ve been blessed to be able to be there and see all the ancient ruins (they are really beautiful and incredible those island!) Don’t forget Olympia, if you have time 😅 where the Olympics started and Corfù (with his tzitzibira, it’s like a ginger beer that you’re able to find only there in the island and the Achilleon, an amazing palace with an incredible view). These places are not very popular, but trust me: they worth the time! And, by the way, you have to eat moussaka, it’s just…🤤

Oh, forgot the dolmades…🤤 And if you like it, you have to try the octopus, i remember that there were plenty of little boats, near the harbor, full of octopus hanging like they were string lights. In Mykonos there is Little Venice, it kinda remind to Venice but as an italian… i mean, Venice is Venice😁 and the windmills up to the hills. If i don’t remind wrong, they’re not far away from each other.

@@sandraalbuquerque1486 I found her Instagram and it looks like she’s going through so darn much. She has had I think for breast surgeries in one year and she kept getting infections. She did not have a lot of extra weight to begin with but now they’re having to take fat from her thighs to help the breasts. I don’t see anything on the status of whether the cancer is in remission or not
You did go to the most expensive island in Greece , hence the high prices.
