I am a full time cruiser but recently had reason to charter a boat in Croatia. The main thing i found was that the assumption is that you will only stay in marinas ie the anchor was light and the dingy was little more than a toy. Otherwise, i was very impressed with the preparation of the boat.

I've been in Croatia many times, more on charter boats than on private-owned and there is always the same problem - 30 or max 40 meters of chain.
In a few weeks I go again in middle Dalmatia (Trogir), this time with a slightly bigger boat (45) and hope for longer chain. Otherwise I'll put my own rope on it and prolonge it :). In this area there is not so many marinas and bays where they put ''bojas'' for charging. And for night for such a boat it could be even more than 100 EUR

Jul možda ne, ali ne zbog gužve, nego zbog vrućine. U Grčkoj zapravo i nema gužve pošto je tako veliko more i puno ostrva.

Mi smo bili u tom terminu sad treći put, nikad nije bilo ovolike vrućine, pa smo odlućili, da ove godine idemo ranije, krajem juna.

Vec smo 8 godina po Severnim Sporadima pa bi da vidimo nesto drugo.
Dodekanezi su ok mada kazu da je voda hladna do Avgusts.
Stoga smo odlucili Peloponez
