My favorite bird, those fledglings are too cute begging their parents for food lol
I agree!
The squeaks the fledglings make while begging for food is so adorable! 🥰
Small bird. Big personality!
A happy video 🎉
They do have a big personality!
I just LOVE Carolina Wrens: that little round body with that tail up in the air! I had no idea they had so many vocalizations! The one I get the biggest kick out of is the one I’ll call the song, what to me sounds like an inside out cardinal song, because it is so freaking loud! It’s hard to imagine such a big sound coming from those adorable little birds!
I think people call that the Teakettle Song
I love these lil’guys
So do I
Me too! So much chatter for such a little bird.
Awesome video 🙂🐦
Thank you Lesley!
I had one build a nest in a plant I had on my front porch. She was friendly and not too scared of us. She had three eggs that hatched about 2 weeks later. So cute!!❤❤❤
Awesome!
The wren saw the chickadee fly over and was like “nope”.
Ha ha, that's right!
The Wrens have always been my favorites. Thank you!
Glad you like them!
I love these lil guys…and gals! Lots of mightness packed into a little package!
Agreed!
My favorite, personality especially!
They have big personalities!
I enjoy these cute birds very much!
💜
I do too
Lesley the Bird Nerd brought me here.
Awesome! Thank you for watching!
Me too!😅
Welcome!
Same here, and I love your channel name, I knew from the picture it was a nuthatch, we have the white breasted gray/bluish ones.
They're comical how they walk upside down on my big old wild black cherry tree.
I love the birds, wrens are the smallest ones that make the biggest noise and they're so feisty. I don't think they know their own size, in their minds they are mighty eagles 😄
We have a few living nearby and my life is better because of them & the rest of my bird friends. ❤
I aIso adore my maIe red bellied woodpecker. He truly thinks he is God's gift to the lady red bellies. His antics and showy personality just makes me laugh. He announces his presence & is such a character. If he is picking birdseed off the ground, I've even seen him put his head down and run off a few grackles. He's the big cheese in the 'hood. 😎✊️
Wren
OMGoodness! How adorable?!?!🥰
So many different calls/songs/sounds from such a tiny bird!
I absolutely love this!
Thank you!💕
Thank you for watching!
Thank you so much for this video I have a Carolina wren in my neighborhood and I'm learning all the calls Awesome.
Awesome!
These Carolina wrens are truly amazing and voice and songs and singing. I have never seen such a wide variety of songs and calls beautifully
I couldn't agree more!
My goodness they’re so talented! ❤
Yes, they are!
Two parents decided to make a nest in my atrium. Today the 3 babies jumped out of the nest and are using the atrium as this perfect little training grounds for them to hop around safely and gain their bearings. All the chairs and plants to hop onto. They even used this black pot to train them how to eat, by dropping worms into the pot and letting the babies root around for them. So cool. What a beautiful thing to be a part of!
So awesome!
These little bugers will build a nest anywhere! Up inside my camper propane tank cover. In the rafters of my buildling on some conduit I needed. Over a light in the corner of the porch. I just have to wait or buy new things to work around them. Love them!
You're right about that!
They started to build a nest in a planter right next to my backdoor. I had to explain to them that it probably wasn't the best spot.
Adorable little birds. I have one that comes around and visits me. Mostly when I am doing dishes. He sings to me sitting on a porch rail. Wish I could get a video. Thanks for sharing.
That is awesome!
@@BirdsWalkingDown it is. Hope to get a video one day.
Thanks. They are a favorite of mine. I love to watch them tunnel under leaves etc, like a pig rooting.
Like a pig rooting! ;)
I really enjoyed watching this and watched it twice.
Thank you so much
We love listening to and watching those adorable Carolina Wrens ❤
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
What a cutie! Love all the different sounds and calls they make. There's not one bird on this earth that I don't love. And yes... that includes House Sparrows .
Thank you for watching!
You got outstanding footage. I truly enjoyed.
Thank you very much!
Thanks for the video! One of my favorites; the loudest bird in the yard, but also one of the smallest!
PS - the Wren family feeding around 0:59 is adorable 😊
Thank you for watching! The family is adorable!
Another awesome Carolina Wren video! 😍🤩 These birds brighten up my winter days when it’s colder and the hours of sunlight are shorter, as they’re one of the few birds that still sing in winter. One of my favorite calls is that raspy trilling call at 0:24 and again at 1:48. That call sounds like a dinosaur, at least to me. 😄😆 Also, love the Eastern Bluebird surprise cameo at the end. Thanks for sharing! ❤🐦
Glad you enjoyed it!
They have so many songs and calls! Intelligent little guys thats for sure. My favorite clip was when the parent was on the feeder w the babies and they were begging for food. So flipping cute!
That is a cute clip!
I'm in Northern California and we have Bewick's Wrens.. they are in my top ten favorites...maybe even in the top 5 spot.
Wrens are captivating little birds!
Beautiful video. I had a male where I lived in the Shenandoah on a mountain, whose song was a modulation I've not heard since: it sounds clearly as: Eureka, eureka, eureka.
Awesome, thank you for sharing!
Thank you for this great video!! This is one of my favorite birds!
Thank you for the kind words!
I love this video! I had no idea wrens had such varied calls!!! And it helped me finally identify the wren as the source of a particular sound/call I had never been able to identify!!! Love these little guys/gals!!! ❤️
Thank you SO MUCH!! ❤️✨✨✨
Thank you for watching!
Beautiful little bird with beautiful calls! A lot of them too. ❤
Yes they are!
🥰🥰 song 🎵 🐦
Thank you!
These calls are all the same species?! wow
Yes! All from the Carolina Wren :)
Such beautiful songs! I love the Judy-Judy-Judy or durdy-durdy-durdy 🐦
I like that song too!
These birds are quite fluent, many calls and dits.
I heard one this past week, with a call I thought belonged to a Chipping Sparrow. It was the Carolina Wren in dit mode.
Yes they are!
I love my wrens singing
Me too!
@@BirdsWalkingDown my
Pair tease my kittle staffy ;)
Make her chase them around 🪴
That's funny
They are such beautiful singers! You always capture the beauty of these birds!
Thank you very much!
This video is so good in quality that my cat watched it and tried to catch a bird! Thanks for posting.
Thank you for watching!
Beautiful and cute bird 🐦😊
I think so too!
Well they are just plan noisy aren't they 🙂 I could watch for hours !
They are noisy!
Very cute and clever birds! Great video 😊💗
Thank you very much!
I loved to hear the wrens sing when I lived in Virginia, but I never realized they made such a variety of vocalizations. Unfortunately wrens are rare in New Orleans and I never get to hear them sing any longer. Thank you for the video. It brought back some wonderful memories.
Thanks for listening
Wow, amazing video closeups of those adorable little loudmouths! I put out mealworm too, but a fat robin and a mockingbird are usually at the feeders.
Thank you so much!
I love Carolina Wrens!
So do I!
Goodness, I didn't realize these little cuties made such a large variety of sounds! My favorite is the longer chortle. 1:22 We have several that nest in the porch corners overnight. So cute! 🥰
Glad you enjoyed!
Haha... the wrens come around and blast me with this stuff at top volume while I'm working outside. So I put this video on and they went around trying to find the other bird, and when they saw the screen, they actually attacked my laptop! Ballsy little birds.
Wow, they attacked your laptop!
thanks for posting
You're welcome
They almost always raise their heads and look to heaven when singing their song. Just sayin..... Amen
Thank you for watching!
There are Carolina wrens with a nest inside my screened in porch at the moment. I’m sitting outside on the deck and I started playing this video. Both parents started freaking out and landing right next to me doing the same call that was playing on the video. And it almost seemed like other Carolina Wrens materialized out of the woods. They must’ve heard what sounded like a distress call or maybe I was competition as far as they were concerned lol. But it was wild! The more the video played the closer they got and the more they screamed.
Wow, that's cool!
They’re after my male cat 🐈 inside the lanai & spend a lot of time letting him know what they think of him!
They must have a nest nearby?
If this footage were any clearer, the bird would be in the room with me.
Thank you!
