Just picked up the Thunder 3 I have ordered “last night” from the shop in NYC, let it charge all night, wanted to ride around my block for the 1st time , found the locking pin area missing metal that supports the set screws and locking pins, this seems extremely dangerous, does Minimotors have a return policy ?

The constant scoptopia image during the review makes it difficult to see the scooter. That charger is garbage for $4500, which is sheer greed and unacceptable.
Hey @ShaneW7361... thanks for visiting Scootopia. Yeah we were not able to lighten our watermark any lighter. So we have paid someone to re-work it for us so that it is a little lighter. Its unfortunate that we have to even go to the extreme of protecting our proprietary Brand due to so many wannabe PEV TH-camrs using my original creative work on their Channels as their own. So in order to protect our Brand we have to add our Proprietary Watermark. Moving forward it will be Visible but it will be lighter in tone, so that it's visible in any litigation we approach in effort to protect our Brand as well. Yes that charger is a joke, not only for the price but also the Watt Hours it has to charge under. Stay SAFE out there my friend and remember to to GearUP whenever, wherever You Ride. Quick question, the Nami Burn-E 2 or the Nami Klima 40ah. Which one would you buy and why? I can pick up the Burn-E 2 for about the same price as the Klima, lol. Or for $3k, what scooter would you recommend and why?
Hey @shanew7361 ... thanks for visiting Scootopia. I have bought three NAMI Scooters (OG NAMI, NAMI Burn-e 2 MAX, NAMI burn-e MAX 40Ah) Right now the NAMIs are experiencing a lot of issues. Frame integrity (breaks) issues, electrical issues (fuse), folding lock Mech issues, steering issues and stability. So I've stop promoting and recommending any NAMI Scooters. The Klima is having issues right now as well. I'm sure Michael Sha is going to get these issues resolved but as of right now they are in the process of getting past all these issues. Stay SAFE out there my friend and remember to always GearUP whenever, wherever You Ride.
My Vsett Super 72 came with two 1.5amp chargers. It still takes 12 hours to charge, thankfully I rarely take it below 50% but I’m still gonna buy a fast charger. I wanna be able to charge at 8amps and be ready to roll in 4 hours, 2 hours if I’m charging from 50%
Hey @64cpr... thanks for visiting Scootopia. You're exactly right in your comment. That's the whole idea. No one wants to be charging their Scooter over twenty hours. Two chargees usually cutting that in halve, and raising the charger Amperage even faster than that. Of course with all the Scooters I've bought and the plethora if Dualtron power Scooters I've bought. I definitely have chargers that'll get it done but on my Videos I speak as a Consumer from the viewers perspective. I know if I could only afford one Scooter and it was this one, I'd be pissed they only sent a 1.4Amp charger for 2880Wh. Lots of improvements over the older Dualtrons 👍🏻. I wish my Achilleus had the thick stem with the new folding mechanism, the sturdy kickstand and the new mudguards. Reaching the mudguard screws on the Achilleus is pure hell! Now it's time for a Dualtron Ultra 3! I need a new offroad machine! I'm glad your hand is doing well. Scoot on! 🛴💨
Thanks @Scheltokeeper... my Scootopian Brother, and thank You for visiting Scootopia today. Yes, MiniMotors have really increased the Quality of their superior Builds. They are really showing their Korean Roots even though their facility is in China now. This Thunder 3 is far more superior than its predecessor The Dualtron Thunder 2. It is more stable, more comfy w/new suspension, better Lighting, bigger Motors, technically advanced Programming. Simply amazing development. So far it's at the top of the 2023 short list of 62+mph Scooters. There's a lotta competition coming so we will see how it holds in that standing but one thing we know, is that build won't be topped. Stay SAFE out there my Brother and remember to always GearUP whenever, wherever You Ride.
Quick question, my friend. I just ordered the Solar EQ scooter, my first ever scooter. I'm wondering if the 26-mile range is sufficient enough for a first-time rider/enthusiast? I got a killer deal for $1325 out the door. I don't know if I'll like escootering or not, but if I do, I'm concerned about the limited range I won't be happy with. Any suggestions or thoughts? Thanks my friend.
Hey @shanew7361... thanks for visiting Scootopia. Range is one of the most important features of any Electric Scooter. The less your Scooter has, the more you will be dissapointed when range is high on your list. Remember, that the prices on electric Scooters speak loudly to what, and how that class of Scooter is to meet expectations. The more expensive, high end Scooters usually meet most demands consumers have. The less expensive, usually miss most high expectations. @SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan It's shipped here Monday. I'm hopeful 26 miles will suffice estimated is 30, but Rider Guide said 26 they got. If I want more range, I guess I'll have to spend more money lol Just getting my feet wet as it is my first ever scooter. I didn't want to spend $3k + yet if I don't even like the experience.
Solar eq is good for light riding.. 30 miles really won't get you far.. 15 miles each way basically.. have think of it like that... It's great for short commutes , but for everyday riding your not going to be on it very long
@mikefox181 It's fun. Had I do it again, I'd buy an ebike. Standing for long durations sucks honestly. I agree on the one-way there one-way back way of thinking.

Hey @hamitfusha710... thanks for visiting Scootopia. The Thunder 3 is on a whole other level above the Teverun Fighter Supreme. Thanks @sacmo8888... and Thank You for Visiting Scootopia and the SUB. Congratulations on upgrading from one of the best Scooters ever made (The Dualtron Thunder 1) this Scooter dominated during its reign and has created so many Loyal Dualtron Scootopians, including hooking me to The Brand (I've now bought 19 Dualtron Power Beast Scooters) more than any Private Consumer in the World. They are added to my collection of 39 Power HyperScooter Purchases (the Biggest, Baddest, most Power HyperScooters on the Streets) I always set, and keep all my Scooters on the highest Settings. I did set my Dualtron X Limited to those SineWave LIKE Settings to show some people how to enjoy that smooth, easier aggression. I just unboxed this Scooter for the first time on this Video, and MiniMotors has made some changes to improve the Ey4 Display. Give me a few days to finish going through and testing this Scooter so that I can see what changes they made to the settings if any... I will give you what worked on the DTX LTD, it might be different on this New Thunder 3 because of the Ey4 improvements but check these out and see if they work for you FAM... Before you change your settings be sure to write down, or take a photo of how you currently have your "P" Settings SET. Be very careful how you SET, execute and use your Scooter's "P" Settings. I do not recommend anyone SET their Scooters to MY settings, I am a highly skilled expert HyperScooter Rider and Ride at extremely dangerous Settings. Set and Ride all your Scooters at Your own Risk, NEVER duplicating my Settings unless You are experienced and skilled at Riding Hiph Powered Scooters SAFELY and are comfortable with Electric Scooters, especially High Powered Scooters. Hey @Pablotope3070... thanks for visiting Scootopia. Of course you probably know after watching my video that I am testing the seven New 2023 Top Performing Power Scooters stated to reach 62+mph. I have done the Teverun Fighter Supreme and The Dualtron Thunder 3. The Dualtron Thunder 3 stands pretty tall against the Teverun Fighter Supreme and takes the #1 Spot so far on the list. Stay Tuned as I will be bringing the other five in the coming week(s). There are just so many amazing improvements on The Thunder 3 that just blows the Teverun out of the water. I was able to get 60mph on The Teverun Supreme and without even trying, got a quick 45mph on The Thunder with 40% Battery. Based on the torque and feel, I can tell that the Thunder 3 is going to best the Fighter Supreme at Speed as well. For the cost, the Teverun Supreme is a great buy and a fun Scooter but I would not choose it over the Dualtron Thunder 3. Hey @pablofernandez961... thanks for visiting Scootopia. Well we can start by eliminating the NAMI Burn-e 2 Max... right now there are too many major safety failures going on with the NAMI Brand. I can not and will not recommend ANY of them. Between the Inmotion RS and The Thunder 3, it will be the Thunder 3. I will be featuring the Inmotion RS and perhaps it may overtake the Thunder 3 but as of now The Thunder 3 is at the top of my list of seven Scooters capable of 65+mph. I still have to feature The KWK GTR, The Teverun 7260R, The RION APEX, and The Emove Roadster. So keep your eyes open for those Scooters. No they haven't been fixed yet @pablofernandez4030... I bought three NAMIs and hate that things with the NAMI has taken such a terrible turn. They just aren't SAFE right now. Hey @adimunteam9825... thanks for visiting Scootopia. I have kick the tires and ridden both of them. Even though my inmotion is due to arrive in about ten days. I know enough to say, because of some concerning issues with the Inmotion RS, I would choose the tried and true well built Dualtron Thunder 3 over the Inmotion RS. I just think, that there are some new bugs that has to be worked out with the RS and many who buy it will find themselves frustrated and not riding it as much as the Thunder 3. I will give a full review of the Inmotion when mine irrives. So Stay Tuned Buddy. Stay SAFE out there my friend and remember to always GearUP whenever, wherever You Ride. I'm confused after a little research, if given the choice, which of the following models would you choose and why? WOLF KING GT PRO VSETT 11+ SUPER 72 DUALTRON THUNDER 3
Hey @sukruzencir... thanks for visiting Scootopia. Of course I bought and own ALL three of these. ...but If I had my choice for ONLY one of the listed Scooters, I would immediately eliminate the Vsett 11+ Super 72. Now out of the two remaining, the Kaabo Wolf GT Pro and the New Dualtron Thunder 3... The Thunder 3 edges out the Kaabo WK GT Pro in performance, Agility, and tech. They are both very stable. The Thunder 3 will get the Kaabo WK GT Pro off the line and it continues to gain. It may win by a Scooter. Stay SAFE out there my friend and remember to always GearUP whenever, wherever You Ride. Hey bro, how is the ride quality? Is it as good as the Burn-e? Is it better? Is it worse? You’re one of the few people on YT that has a video on this scooter
Hey @jackrobhp28... thanks for visiting Scootopia. There's an obvious feel of quality in the Thunder 3 that you don't get with the NAMI. You feel SAFE even though you can feel the immense power, torque and speed. When you ride the Thunder 3, it's solid while offering a great comfortable ride. Not so bouncy yet not stiff. @@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDanthank you brother, I appreciate the reply, I really do. @jackrobhp28 Hey Buddy... I don't know if you saw my Videos when I was on my Tour. I rode thru Brooklyn, Bronx and Manhattan. I know those roads are bad. Probably the worst in the country. @@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDanyeah, the roads here are real bad. Gotta check that video out of you riding through the city. I think it’s so bad here because of just the sheer amount of people that live here. At this moment, I think I am leaning to the Thunder 3. Just need to call up Minimotors and find out what type of after purchase support they offer. I have bought over 39 Power Beast Scooters to date (19 of which are Dualtron Scooters) more than any Private Consumer in the world. I have spent over $250K on Power Beast HyperScooters and given away several FREE, to my most loyal Subscribers. It is considered an unwritten rule to ask to borrow someone else's Scooter (of course, unless a borrower gives the owner the FULL PRICE they paid for the Scooter before ever touching it) that would be the only way I let someone Ride any of my Scooters, they'd have to pay me for it first and I don't sell my Scooters so that would be a hard NO!! People pay to much for these Scooters and form a bond with them like they are married to them. They are not so fast to let someone else roll on their Baby like that, especially knowing that most people who damage other people's Scooters in an accident, NEVER replace or repair the Scooter they ruined. Like any other wise Consumer, I don't share, loan, sell or swap my Scooters with People. I NEVER ask to Ride anyone else's Pride and Joy PEV either, it's like asking to share their spouse and I don't share my Wife. I just stay away from ALL that potential mess... and it does get messy after the fact, friends lost, family broken up and even physical fights or worst behind people using and damaging someone else's Scooter. Any of these are said to be capable of replacing the Thunder 3 at the top spot. Keep your eyes and ears open as I will be dropping one of these Scooters every three weeks until the list is done. I have a futecher gun pro it came out in 2021 but still holds up to this day I have 4,500 miles on it and more than 4 repairs done to or so far but it runs great and has like 40 miles of range to it
Hey @LesnyPatrol7292... thanks for visiting Scootopia. There should not be a speed limiter on it. Make sure you download and connect your App. There are tons of settings on the App that should get you going. If you don't see anything on the App that helps, then call Cooper over at MiniMotorsUSA (You did buy it from MiniMotorsUSA.com I hope. If not, check with the Vendor that you bought yours from. They're expecting a container at the end of this month, and they just received one two weeks ago. So you should give John and Price a call over at MiniMotorsUSA.com and ask then how long If any is the wait for delivery. Usually companies take a month from order to delivery if you're past the pre-order time which you are. Stay SAFE out there my friend and remember to always GearUP whenever, wherever You Ride. Hey @iscootct... thanks for Visiting Scootopia. Videos or pics does no justice for this Beast of a Scooter. Not only does it look amazing, but it straight out moves! This thing out performs the Thunder 2 and so far it is at the top of the list of 2023 Scooters that can travel above 62+mph. I still have a bunch of test I have to do on this one. But there are some stiff competitors coming... the RION APEX, The Kaabo Wolf King GTR, The Inmotion RS, The Teverun 7060R, and The Emove Roadster. All of these New to be Released in 2023 Scooters are expected to really show out. I bought mine from MiniMotorsUSA.com. If you buy one, feel free to use my name (OhManDan) at checkout. The Guys down there will surely roll out the Red Carpet for You. I will be visiting Connecticut next year. I look forward to it, and hope to Ride with you when I touch down. @Rpgmaniac I bought my 1st Dualtron almost four years ago. It was The Original Thunder. I still have it and it runs very well. It led the pack for a couple of years and is still widely respected around the world. Dualtrons are powerful machines. Keep in mind that MiniMotors (the maker of Dualtron) invented the Dual Motor for Electric Scooters. So it's only right that they would be the industry leader in Powerful and fast Scooters. Have you noticed a difference in terms of performance compared to the dualtrom 2 OhManDan? Have you seen the blade GT 2? that scooter is on my bucket list LOL. It looks very sleek, i love the way how the swings arms look Skeletal style. My favorite feature of that scooter is that F&S adjustable suspension knob on it smooth like the clouds. Im waiting for the arrival of it on any of this scooter companies that would sell it hopefully on MiniMotorsUSA.
Hey @JulianRides... thanks for visiting Scootopia. Yes, this New Improved Thunder 3 is just that... "IMOROVED" The Wider Bars, Bigger Motors, no lag Throttling, incredible Lighting, Front/Rear Turn Signals, Thicker Steering Pole, better fold locking Mech, New comfy Suspension, better Brakes and I'm sure I'm leaving something out but it is considerably better... not withstanding being faster with more torque. Oh @JulianRides... I did not reply to your Blade Scooter question... You know there is a Blade GT+ made by Teverun that is its latest release with more current features. The Blade GT II is the predecessor of that GT+. In my opinion the Blade GT+ would be my choice over the GT II. The GT+ is built better (the one with the tail light away from the footrest) Stay SAFE out there Buddy. I hope this helps you.
Hey @NeveRB4... Thanks for Visiting Scootopia. For me (since I've bought all three X's) it would be better than the Dualtron X & X2 but not the Dualtron X Limited. Hey @theunprofessioonal9837... thanks for Visiting Scootopia. It will depend on your weight, road conditions, settings, battery charge, climate, riding style and speed. I am 242lbs and have gotten 60 miles of real world conditions. Meaning that I ride it like I ride (between 25 and 50mph the whole time). All things considered (optimal) you should do better than me if you're say, around 165-195lbs. Stay SAFE out there my friend and remember to ALWAYS GearUP whenever, wherever You Ride
w00t? Only a 1.4A charger? That's definitely a fail. I mean fast charging ain't good for the battery life cycle but depending on the capacity it should be at least 5 up to 10A. I recently bought me a 20A one for my 80Ah battery pack but also put a limit on the SOC over the bluetooth BMS at 80%. btw, it looks like that kickstand is really steep so the scooter might fall over especially on the hill. No need for the deck light. It only consumes energy that is required for a long rideout. Suspension must be awesome, huh.
Hey @Harry-lmao... thanks for visiting Scootopia. Yeah, that's a major fail for a charger. Thank God I have bought 18 other Dualtron Power Scooters and have a bigger Amperage to use. You're right about BMS and slow charging using 80-20 rule for cycle longevity. Swag lights do consume power you'll need on longer rides but most people only use them at night and for showing off at other times. MiniMotors have been very deliberate in developing their Scooters with the most energy saving tech they can come up with. That said, Lights still consume valuable power but at least on a Dualtron the drain isn't as fast as with most other Scooters without such attention to detail. I have a Segway ninebot max without suspension. I want to upgrade to a scooter that at full exceleleration my feet are parallel with my shoulders. Hang on tight and don't let go. Watch out for pedestrians and livestock.
Hey @thelmatucker7598... thanks for Visiting Scootopia. LOL! That is funny but Yes! This Scooter will definitely fit your animated description. Hey @frenchcurse7287... thanks for Visiting Scootopia. Of course everyone knows how I feel about Dualtrons, having bought 19 of them. MiniMotors has an impeccable reputation building quality machines. This Thunder 3 is made really well and has some incredible new features. Hey @GoBrandOn... my Scootopian Brother. Thanks for visiting Scootopia today. The Dualtron Thunder 3 is $4499 but check with MiniMotors to see if they have any sales going on, it's that time of year. Tell them OhManDan sent you and they will bend over backwards to make sure you get The Red Carpet treatment. Stay SAFE out there my Brother, and remember to always GearUP whenever, wherever You Ride.
Hey @GoBrand0n ... they have a bunch in stock right now, I'm sure... like always they will sell out fast. You won't be disappointed with this one Buddy... it is so much better than The Thunder 2, more powerful, faster, more stable, comfy w/ new suspension, better lighting, deck, footrest, throttling, brakes, wider Handlebars, bigger motors. I love what they've done to and for this New Thunder 3. It is a Power juggernaut for sure!! I appreciate You, Fellow Scootopian. Keep pushing forward... Stay SAFE out there... remember to always GearUP whenever, wherever You Ride.
I have battery saving. Max output 50% . Accelerate slowest. Still too powerful but default 20kmh speed limit ufo ufo. Minium max speed is 25kmh on gear 1 so it hit limiter and is kenguru effect. Need remove speedlimit and use gear 1 and it go smooth 25kmh just i want ride. Looooong range
The weight of these scooters is getting out of control. My OG Ultra was the perfect 80lbs. Now, when I load up my 88lbs Ultra 2 into pickup, i can really feel those 8 extra lbs. Im gonna want a ramp or helper to get this beast in and out of my truck. Not ideal. I heard the charging plug is different and the old chargers wont work.
Hey @davidmiller2327... thanks for visiting Scootopia. You're right, it is getting outta hand but the good thing is that weight adds safety to a Scooter because it helps add stability and traction. Range was told 170km and dashboard say 106km max charge ops. Ultra v2 range is 120km. Why bought? Lol. Or is this New thing show rabge if actually drive max speed? So 25kmh range is 170km bcoz thats only reason i spend 5k lol
Yuuuup @Rpgmaniac... that would definitely be a downgrade Buddy. He obviously never saw nor rode the DTT3. The improvements are much too vast to even allow words like that to escape his lips. Stay SAFE out there my friend.

Dualtrons are for known hellish tire removal. Sold my Thunder 2 due to the bolts breaking as the industrial lock tight was impossible to remove unless using a torche. Never ordering a Dualtron again
Hey @GilroyPro1010... thanks for visiting Scootopia. Dualtrons are produced to the spec and I don't think MiniMotors ever intended for any regular Private Consumer to work on their Scooters. There's just no room, no extra wire, no easy hacks or any grace for the average DIY Joe I would say that People with deep and expensive Dualtron mechanical experience (like MiniMotorsUSA Techs) or electrical fabricating engineers (if there's such a title) are able to hop right on any Dualtron job without a hiccup and complete them in what would take me or any other average DIY Joe hours or even weeks, they'd finish in minutes or even a couple hours. I've seen it done on both sides. Dualtrons are the most difficult Scooters to work on. I take all my Dualtrons to The Dualtron Masters (MiniMotorsUSA) and they take care of ALL my big jobs. I might true a Rotor, adjust my brakes, or fix an external part but all the heavy lifting, I leave to John, Cooper and The Team to make right for me. Stay SAFE out there my friend and remember to always GearUP whenever, wherever You Ride. Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE to my Channel if you FIND my Content Helpful to You in any WAY.
Here is the other problem you can never keep up with this crazy technology, it's absolutely ridiculous and stupid when they're gonna come out with the thunder 4 and 6 months or the thunder 5 in a year, you can never keep up, and they keep calling it. Oh, it's the best scooter in the world total Bullshit
Hey@A3Kr0n... thanks for visiting Scootopia. Sorry that it annoys you. We are working on getting the right tone. I have addressed this already but I will repeat it again for You Buddy... It's very unfortunate that I even have to use a Watermark on my Channel to protect my Creative work and Brand. It is very apparent that there are those out there unwilling to do the hard work and create their own vibe, content, feel and look... instead they want to be other TH-camrs who work hard to create Original Content. There are so many wannabe PEV TH-camrs out there who prefer using and misrepresenting my Proprietary Brand to a fault and our watermark will definitely EXIST moving forward. However we have hired graphic artist to get the opacity just right, so that it protects my Brand yet not overbearing. Stay SAFE out there my friend and remember to always GearUP whenever, wherever You Ride.
Ok @A3Kr0n... my Graphic Design Team reworked our Proprietary WaterMark. Take a look at this, they did an amazing job with perfect opacity. View here: th-cam.com/video/6bLmD44g23I/w-d-xo.html
I disagree on wanting a shorter stem on high end scooters. Its categorically more dangerous to have your hands lower. You lose balance. My varla e1 pro is 43" from platform to handle bar. Why wouldnl anyone want a shorter stem? I don't get it.
Hey @DSlav2488... thanks for visiting Scootopia. I think you misunderstood what I said about the 38" steering pole. In this, like all other Videos on my Channel where I speak about steering pole height... I never mention or point out they're best on "high end Scooters" My context is always relegated to specific heights for specific Riding preference and style, and in this Video I reference that the 38" pole on Dualtrons, and other Scooters with lower steering pole height is BEST for individuals who ride Performance Scooters (those that go 55mph or faster) If you research and/or watch any videos of Electric Scooter Racing, you will ALWAYS note the Scooters have SHORTER Steering Poles. The reason they are shorter is for MORE Control, Stability and maneuverability. Being able to lean down and with your steering pole allow Racers to carve tighter, come out of turns and enter turns with better handling, control and stability. If you watch MY Videos, you'd learn that the context I use when discussing the right height of a steering pole is predicated upon the individual's Riding Style (different preferred heights for different Riding Styles and preferences). As I state in my Videos about steering pole height. The height should always correspond to riding PREFERENCE (what type of Riding you prefer to do. ie: off road, city, or racing) and STYLE (stance, agility, and position). If you ride off road, there's a preferred height, if you ride City there's a preferred height and if you prefer racing (or riding at high speeds) there's a preferred height. Your style will always coincide with your preference. I can tell that you are obviously NOT A RACER or like Riding FAST so having a higher steering pole is more exciting to you. However, it is important to understand the physics and not just go off of what you like because if you do... you can find yourself in great peril Riding specific Scooters with improper position(s). There is a way to measure your Scooter to your height to determine your best steering pole height (my best height is right at 38"). Knowing your Scooter, and what features best work for your Riding Preference, and Style is something I always recommend for ALL Riders. In order to determine and measure your specific Steering Pole height, there is an industry formula, that I can paraphrase a little for you to save time... You will need a solid, safe and raised platform to sit your Scooter deck on. Your wheels should be off the ground, and the platform of your chosen (base or stand) should be a flat, none slippery surface, like a non slide metal or reinforced wooden box that fits between your two wheels when the Scooter sits on top of it. Once you have safely secured your Scooter, where it doesn't move whatsoever while on that raised based... you then stand on the deck facing the bars, like you're going to ride (without turning your Scooter's power on). You should have your arms slightly bent at about 160° with your hands in riding form. The bars of your Scooter should be right between your belly button and waist as you stand on the deck. Now here's where you determine your specific pole height... while standing on your Deck with your arms slightly flexed is where you would measure the height where your hands rest at the bar. That measured number will be your ideal bar height for any Scooters you purchase in the future. When it comes to when, how and where you Ride... you will then adjust the heights based upon your specific Riding preference and style in real time. For example; if you're going off roading, then grab your Scooter with a little higher pole, if you're going city Riding then use your pre-measured pole and if you're really feeling dare devil and have the need to race or ride fast on a circuit or safe private road, you will then have a shorter pole. Stay SAFE out there my friend and remember to always GearUP whenever, wherever You Ride. Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE to my Channel if you FIND my Content Helpful to You in any WAY like this one Buddy.
What is turbo button its useless you get effect pull throttle fast 2 toimesta. Turbo should be dual and single Mode. Why i can use only rear motor wtf i need eat battery? Winter driving impossible dual motor. Well cant irti say No wet driving on stem lolol. Been drive 3 years all year
100% charge it say 106 range is it 106 miles or 106km. promised range is 170km. is 170km only if drive default limited 20kmh LOL maybe let me choose dual motor or rear motor to get range lol. if it go 170km should screen say it!=!=! its confusing. bcoz its not actually go 100km LOL. it fails! ultra v2 have range 120+km (in single mode and 25kmh legal limit) i bout 5k scooter just bcoz 170km range promised. not 100kmh eat battery 50km. range not change even change km/miles it allways say magically allmost same as battery change LOL. i had 11km before i full charged. now say 70km 46% battery means i drive 59km so far. how less battery can drive ultra v2 could fail 30% LOL was winter but its not matter when you not get any normal 25kmh anyway. could this 46% battery still go 110km? LOL. is it free spin ear test result or actually someone tested. scooter cost too much if not go over 100km RANGE. ofc its not go max range if eat battery. how much i need safe batter to get 170km? 20kmh and ECO on?. allready have battery safe max and accelerate slowest and output power 80&. its still too powerfull. mean it eat battery red button have no fucking effect. why cant it be single/dual mode means allready eat battery/eco there is magic tap twice throtle to get more power? even that not make any diff anyway LOL 5k and ultra v2 have more range LOL and it DRIVE winter. this 5k not drive winter slik tires and dual motor only. you need single moe to drive winter. i demand firmware update for my 5k extra when allready had dream scooter LOL it should say 170 range on screen and it should drop more km than trip when eat battery 106*1.6 169.6? range say miles? and it allways same as battery chartge and it allmost same i drive km LOL. its even more funny im home 100% battery on ultra v2 when im work it still says 100% LOL guess what 5k scooter say. you not need know 5k worth? if it actually eat more battery. i completey understand if 170km is tested single mode and free air spin. nobody test range driving 7.5hour on scooter, but i want get to 170km one charge like it is solded. pls single mode option. dual mode just eat more battery to reach same speed
Hey @davidmichael3189... thanks for visiting Scootopia. You definitely have not ridden both Scooters. There are several differences in the Thunder 2 and Thunder 3. Just Riding them alone is a noticeable difference. Not withstanding the Wider Handlebar, a Thicker Steering Pole, the improved IPX7 Color Ey4 Display, the 4 Piston Brakes, New Suspension, the fold locking Mech, the carry lock, larger Motors, 6000Lmn Headlamps, front turn signals. There's no way that you can own both Scooters and make such an outlandish false statement. Are you just hating or you just want to spew lies?
@@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDanIn fairness I own a Thunder 2 myself. Unless Dualtron are going to give me Sine Wave pretty much all the rest seems gimmicky things that should have been on the Thunder 2 as standard
Hey@@BudgieFan101... I don't think MiniMotors will ever make the Dualtron SineWave. They have that Scooter dialed in as SquareWave. Nothing on the market has the kind of torque that Dualtrons have, plus I really love the grit, and Power of SquareWaves. In my opinion, the SquareWave is to Scooters, what Harley Davidsons are to Motorcycles. That sound, power, and speed is now iconic. In all fairness to MiniMotors they have answered Consumer's call for SineWave with their New Teverun Fighter Brand. For customers who want a Dualtron in SineWave... the Teverun Fighter Brand is the closest Consumers are going to come to that reality. Now on the other hand... with the advent of the Dualtron X Limited... MiniMotors have actually found a way to use smaller motors, yet increase torque and speed through technological advances in programming of their BMS, Controllers, Display, and Motors to deliver a SineWave LIKE feel, sound and presence. They just did the same thing with their New Thunder 3... this Scooter is technologically advanced in a way that moves the Thunder Brand far ahead of its Predecessor (The Thunder 2). It is Bigger, Badder, Faster... the improvement choices and execution are mystifying and WORKS beyond compare. Even changing their signature 24" Wide handlebar to finally bring the stance most Hyper Scooters include for greater stability was ingenious. I had literally invisioned this happening and they delivered it with extacy Bars, keeping the size portability (width) that has defined the Dualtron Brand. They increased the height of the steering Pole by an inch and a half (knowing that the 38" formula is perfect for performance) it was a smart way to address Consumer Demand while maintaining the Performance Signature of the Dualtron Brand. The larger Deck, the improved lighting, the front facing turn signals (howbeit on the Deck) were all necessary improvements for Safety sake, but they didn't stop there... they improved the Braking with Performance model of NUTT Brakes with the 4 Piston Brakes, better levers and thick, Vented Rotors. They included the self healing Tire (though I wouldve preferred a PMT Slick set) By dialing in Controller components, BMS, and increasing Motor Magnets to deliver more efficient and fluid performance is exactly where all Manufacturers need to land in their R & D. Software and Hardware must marry in a way that meet future market demand that will create a more sustainable alternative to fossil fueled carbon emissions and environmental eradication. I hope you will get a chance to actually test Ride this incredibly designed Thunder 3 and judge for yourself why it was and is a marvel of intuitive ingenuity that delivers everything that Thunder 2 buyer/owners (including myself) crave. Of course you probably know that I have bought, ridden, and tested more Power Beast HyperScooters than any Private Consumer in the World (including more Dualtrons... at 19 and counting. Also more Kaabo Wolf Brand models @9 and counting) then add the WePed, RION, Bronco, ZERO 11, Vsett Super 72, etc. Any HyperScooter that is available to purchase by American Consumers, I have bought, ridden and tested. When no TH-camr was reviewing nor even testing Power Beast Scooters because Vendors and Manufacturers were not giving them away for free (due to their high prices), I stepped in four years ago and started BUYING these expensive, big, and powerful machines, and changed the way PEV Consumers viewed this Big, Powerful and Expensive nitch. Consumers went from NO INTEREST to finally becoming informed and interested. Today the PEV Scooter Market has focused and adopted the more Power, Speed and Hyper Performance because of OhManDan's commitment, sacrifice and contribution to our Incommture (with money, skill, and Humanitarian efforts). I am so honored to be a big part... behind the scenes and in front of the growth, and evolution of Micro Mobility as a viably sustainable alternative form of eTransport that will revolutionize the way people move around while saving our Planet with less evasive forms. We have come so far and there's no turning around now... and I am passionately committed to continue my journey in helping to move this Incommture Forward. That's WHY I'm so excited to see when Manufacturers whom I have been talking to behind the scenes for years make ground breaking innovative moves that serve Consumers intuitively efficient, and advanced in the proper direction. I have talked to over 60 politicians, and 40 Law Enforcement agencies during my Two month Tour, promoting Micro Mobility in 2019 and our communication has grown and continue to this day to move the needle in ways that guarantee our Incommture sustainability. This would have been a perfect scooter if it had swappable batteries. For that price it should have. Now I have to consider getting this or something else.
Hey @trollhunter8842... thanks for visiting Scootopia. I love the whole idea of swappable Batteries on a Scooter but we have learned by the lessons of Scooters that have been released with swappable batteries, especially the first one (DT Storm) at 29lbs. Then the DT CITY with a 16lb Battery Pack. They just did not do well because of weight and means to carry them around. The GTR will have one as well and it could possibly be the only reason the Scooter does not end up Kaabo's best seller. We will see if it falls into the same bag as most swappable Pack Scooters... I am actually very happy that MiniMotors did not make this Thunder 3 with a swappable Pack. It just would not have made this Scooter any better (the Pack wouldve been very heavy). This Thunder 3 is so technologically advanced with well thought out components and improvements, including: the 1st ever... wider Handlebars on a Dualtron (setting presidence), taller steering pole, better Brake System, bigger Motors, better Lighting, improved Display, larger Deck, front Turn Signals etc. The way MiniMotors fused Software and Hardware through seamless Pairing synced in programming has proved with their second attempt to become a staple in (SineWave LIKE) performance. @@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan That's a long explanation. I guess I'll give this another look then. I'll see what the other scooter makers are going to bring out for their 4th generation electric scooters next year. I really like the loud electric horn on the thunder 3. If you're driving on the road with cars then your horn should sound like a car and not some dinky bike bell like some scooters are still using.
I’d just get the GTR if you’re interested in swappable battery’s as a starter I’m sure they’ll only get more expensive. The scooters are both extremely heavy regardless, so the option to charge it inside especially here where it’s cold helps preserve the battery which we all know ends up being half the price of your scooter
Road runner has the rx7 coming out in April.. has a removable battery , 70 mph, 70 miles per charge, 4 hrs charge time and pmt Italian racing tires.. check it out... It's a little spendy but what good electric scooter isnt.. and the company is in Denver..I'm waiting on reviews from that one before I decide between thunder 3 and rx 7
Hey @mothertoad560... thanks for Visiting Scootopia. This thing has been an amazing treat. I have been enjoying my time with it and looking forward to finishing my list of 62+mph Scooters. So far the Dualtron Thunder 3 tops the list. I'm looking at the GTR right now and it is something different than any other Kaabo Wolf Brand Scooter I've ever ridden. If you could save your money to get a Scooter, I would do that. Because once I finish this list... everyone will have a grand idea as to which one they WANT. Yeah @TurboPotato... I already commented about it. But I will repeat it for you Buddy... Because of wannabe TH-camrs using my original creative work on their Channels, convoluting my Brand into their own... I am forced to protect my Brand. We have hired a graphic artist to rework my watermark as I cannot get it any lighter. Make no mistake it will be there but not so intrusive. It is sad that I have to even take such measures but people are not willing to DO the HARD work themselves (as I and other very talented content creators) they'd rather sift other's creativity to boldly brandish their ostentatious form as the creator. I'm sure you would do all you can to protect your Brand from such misers as well... Stay SAFE out there my friend and remember to always GearUP whenever, wherever You Ride.
@@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan oh shit I had no idea that's annoying as hell. Maybe put something that switches between corners/random spaces on the screen so they just can't crop it out?

I have bought three NAMI Scooters (OG NAMI, NAMI Burn-e 2 MAX, NAMI burn-e MAX 40Ah)
Right now the NAMIs are experiencing a lot of issues.

@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan You just saved me $3k you da man OhManDan. What would you recommend then for $3k?

However I would not recommend it due to some fold lock mechanism issues that has not been addressed yet.

They are added to my collection of 39 Power HyperScooter Purchases (the Biggest, Baddest, most Power HyperScooters on the Streets)
I always set, and keep all my Scooters on the highest Settings.
All Scooters are dangerous, even at its lowest settings. So set you "P" Settings at your own Risk, be careful and ALWAYS wear full DOT Safety Gear whenever, wherever You Ride.
Here are my SineWave LIKE Settings on my DTX LTD...
Your "P" Setting should be off on "P" 1, your "P" 2 should be on 3, turn off "P" 3 & 4, your "P" 5 is on zero, your "P" 6 is set to 75%, your "P" 9 to zero, "P" 10 to OFF, "P" 15 is set to one. Do not change "P" 16 thru 18.

Grear review Dan! How do you think this would compare to the Teverun Fighter Supreme amigo?

Hey @sukruzencir... thanks for visiting Scootopia.

There's an obvious feel of quality in the Thunder 3 that you don't get with the NAMI.
You feel SAFE even though you can feel the immense power, torque and speed.

I’ve done so much research on Nami and Dualtron in the last month so I can tell you that Nami fixed the issue that they were having with the stem by changing to a sturdier material. At this moment, I think I am leaning to the Thunder 3. Just need to call up Minimotors and find out what type of after purchase support they offer. I don’t want to have to fix something into the second year of ownership and have to pay an arm and a leg for it.

Hey @GLYDePATH475... thanks for Visiting Scootopia
I'm not the same TH-camr as you are probably accustom to Buddy. I buy ALL my Scooters at the same price as everyone else. I am a Consumer like You.
Like any other wise Consumer,
I don't share, loan, sell or swap my Scooters with People.

Yeah, you're right. In 4 to 6 months there can very well be something better on the road.
It's unlikely that someone will build a Scooter that match or beats the very consistent build quality of MiniMotors' Dualtron Brand.
The DT Thunder 3 is a very formidable Scooter on my list of 65+mph Scooters. So far I have covered the Teverun Fighter Supreme, The Dualtron Thunder 3, and now the Kaabo Wolf King GTR. All seven of the listed Scooters in this Video are ALL stated to have similar specs and very similar outcomes. So far the Thunder 3 LEADS the pack but we still have the Emove Roadster, The RION APEX, The Inmotion RS, and The Teverun Fighter 7260R Edition. Any of these are said to be capable of replacing the Thunder 3 at the top spot.
Keep your eyes and ears open as I will be dropping one of these Scooters every three weeks until the list is done.

They're expecting a container at the end of this month, and they just received one two weeks ago. So you should give John and Price a call over at MiniMotorsUSA.com and ask then how long If any is the wait for delivery.

There's just no room, no extra wire, no easy hacks or any grace for the average DIY Joe
I would say that People with deep and expensive Dualtron mechanical experience (like MiniMotorsUSA Techs) or electrical fabricating engineers (if there's such a title) are able to hop right on any Dualtron job without a hiccup and complete them in what would take me or any other average DIY Joe hours or even weeks, they'd finish in minutes or even a couple hours.

For example; if you're going off roading, then grab your Scooter with a little higher pole, if you're going city Riding then use your pre-measured pole and if you're really feeling dare devil and have the need to race or ride fast on a circuit or safe private road, you will then have a shorter pole.

stock tires are terrible
20kmh and ECO on?. allready have battery safe max and accelerate slowest and output power 80&. its still too powerfull. mean it eat battery
red button have no fucking effect. why cant it be single/dual mode means allready eat battery/eco
there is magic tap twice throtle to get more power? even that not make any diff anyway LOL
5k and ultra v2 have more range LOL and it DRIVE winter. this 5k not drive winter slik tires and dual motor only. you need single moe to drive winter.

There's no difference Thunder 2 Thunder 3 who cares the wattage is the same. It's not Sine Wave so it's not an upgrade at all.
Stay SAFE out there my friend and remember to always GearUP whenever, wherever You Ride.
Every Rider counts and together we can and shall create a perfect eTransport Union of human beings around the World who impact CHANGE the way we need to see and experience.

Yes @@trollhunter8842 you are right... horn's good for traffic but not pedestrians.
I definitely want one but..
😕 My bank account laughed at me
Hey @mothertoad560... thanks for Visiting Scootopia.

Like the video man but you gotta do something about your graphic on he middle of the video. Super distracting.

@@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan oh shit I had no idea that's annoying as hell. Maybe put something that switches between corners/random spaces on the screen so they just can't crop it out?
Yeah @TurboPotato ... point well noted.
We are definitely working hard at a feasible solution, and we will indeed. Thank you for the input Buddy.
