Andy I have had the RBG712. It is 4yrs old and has been flawless !! Just wanted to add that it is not a good ideal to grind in an inclosed room. The grindings float and can do a lot of damage to YOU and the stuff around it. I personally built a catch box and a rolling table for mine and I roll it to the doorway of my shop. The box catches 90% of the shaving but not all. This is why I grind outside of the shop. Great purchase though. You will be amazed at how well the blades cut. I sharpen my blades once a week and it normally takes 6 to 8 passes to freshen the edge and your off and running.
OH AND THOSE DANCE MOVES.
Going to be buying one at the end of the season. I figure it’ll save me money. I’m in the bad habit of just buying new blades. Love the dancing, keeping it fun!

Just curious.. how many passes does it take to sharpen dull blades? Because it usually takes me around 300 passes per blade to sharpen them (150 per side). Ive been using the all american blade sharpener with a standard grinding disc. I was using a 40 grit flap disc before that. But that was taking even longer.
Just curious to know roughly how much quicker it actually is with the rbg 934 over the all american
Its becoming a real pain when it takes 20 plus minutes to sharpen a single blade.
As long as the blade already has a 30• edge to it, it took me like 5-10 passes each side

I have a 712, definitely get the spark catch on the back.
I am using the all american sharpener but mine has more angles not like I need them. Its worked pretty good for me. I do like the new sharpener and yes aww that maintenance thing always seems to take longer than I would like. Great review thanks for sharing.

I just got this today and set it up. The only thing that bothered me was the tips of the blades. The angel needs to be thicker to allow the tip to get sharpened. Instead of bouncing around
