I was born with about 3 inch difference length between my legs (due to a bent tibia bone). I got this done when I was 10. I’ve not met anyone else who has been through this. I have seen TH-cam videos of adults going through it and really being in pain-but I didn’t really have too much pain at all. It was really just a big adventure to me. It’s nice to see another kid who went through it:)
@@neptunelive1111 sorry just saw this! I was 10, and the process took a year. I think i was walking pretty soon after they took the bar off, although I was really cautious at first. Make sure you get plenty of physical therapy after to build back muscle. To this day my left leg is weaker than my right and I wish I had gotten it done. This was 20 years ago. Nice to meet you! I’m almost 14 and have a 3 inch difference aswell, what time of year did you under go the surgery and how long did it take for you to recovery?
