She is really humble when you put in perspective how great she was on both spectrums of her career (TV and Achademics). I’m from Brazil and I first recognize her from Blosson, and later on from BBT. Had no idea she has has a PhD until very recently. That’s indeed awesome. Hope to see more great stuff from her in a near future

?? she spent 5 minutes talking how smart she is. Then she goes on to say she started from scratch when getting on the BBT. Of course being on blossom and in movies when she was younger helped.

She is a talented actress, but she was AMAZING as Amy Farrah Fowler. The show got soooo much better when she joined the cast.

They didn't need anything to take that show to a new level. Your infatuation with her might make you feel that way, but she added nothing

I was just noting how rare it is that a new main character gets added to an already hugely successful show without calamity or loss, giving Sheldon's character new areas to expand into and explore. The writers must've been overjoyed. And as for "she added nothing," your very real negative 'infatuation' is showing.

I keep forgetting that Mayim Bailik was Blossom! What a dramatic change in characters. I also didn't realize that 8 out of the 12 seasons of Big Bang Theory, the show was in the Top Ten, and it was #1 in 2017-2018.
Can’t be anymore down to earth than her.

@@thundercookie1303 She knows how to say a line and her character is the same thing as her degree so she can keep it real and funny at the same time. Did you hear the Bernadette plot in 1 of her stories? The writers listen to her stories.
People seem to forget that she was also in the movie Pumkinhead. It wasn't exactly a huge part but there she was.
It was a good ensemble but Mayim was a great addition to the cast. She made the show better.

I’m so happy for her to have her own show now and OWN it as well. Howard’s interviews are great but make me nervous. He rushes too much and often doesn’t let them finish. I wish he would slow down just a tad

Howard Stern knows his audience. He's being very respectful to Mayim. He's one of the best interviewers for that amongst other things.

I agree I think there is a few ways to look at it though. I think he makes his guests feel comfortable cause his fast rate of questions make him seem super interested & genuine, & also for many people they're here for Stern, they want to hear his 2 cents, but I still agree tbh, he needs to let them talk a little more
True on one hand but it actually has grown on me so much that I think he is a great interviewer.
He's just pushing the guest from their plain answer into a more interesting answer
The interesting thing about it is I think he tries to make the guest feel something or have an answer to a question that they might not have had before. Or he thinks they feel something that they don’t. Idk if anyone else feels that way but I’ve heard him say something thinking he’s being smart & understanding how they feel but then they say that’s not how I feel or how it went at all. Just interesting but the interviews are usually pretty good overall

omg when they played that little bit of the Blossom intro I thought someone had vomited 80's juice onto my screen. That's the most eighties thing I've seen in two decades at least.
Whew, she's a refreshing ball of energy. I'm a little worn out at just 5 minutes of exposure.
As usual, watching a Howard interview is an exercise in frustration. He doesn't allow full answers, talks over the guests.
