    The final placings were odd to say the least. The winning couple looked to be no better than fifth place to my eyes. The fifth place couple should have been in the top three (And that dress worn by 218 was sublimely sensual and sensational...just like hey Chris stunning figure and legs!!!). The only couple that didn't mesmerize me was the couple that was awarded first place overall.

    wow, I am flaberghasted by the results .. ! Ranking is really strange in relation to the dancing performances. I did not expect this at all.

      +Moonrise361 me neither. i mean 5th and 6th were just a shock. the winners seemed a bit sloppy to me at times.

      +Esther Krakue I agree.. For me, in my view, couple no. 5, Ekaterina and Nikita, should have been up there with Constantin and Dominica (like 1 and 2) ... , well, my ranking would have been completely different, and yes couple no. 6 too would have been closer to the podium.

      +Esther Krakue I agree! Number one was very sloppy, he leads her very bad. In the samba you can even see her stumble because he pulled her too hard, you can see that at 2:28

      +Kristina Dejnega Well, I feel she was dancing kind of sloppy on her own, her arms styling and leg work. The ranking is surreal.

      +Moonrise361 I agree! Natalia is really raw and has very bad rhythm in my opinion! I also felt the german couple was a bit underrated!

      Agree. I thought Sharanova was the best dancer out there. And she's a knockout to boot.

    Someone please help the Rhumba artist name: she has a wonderful tone to the song usually sung by men. This version is much more romantic and sensual. Thanks in advanced!

      It's the great Eydie Gorme. She sang in Mexico with Los Panchos. Look it up on TH-cam. You will love it.

      It's a super classic. "Moliendo Café". But this version I didn't found it. There's one very similar on Spotify with Günter Noris

    They would do so much better if they would just forget about the judges and dance with each other and loo like they are enjoying it. And the men acted and looked and danced more manly.

    Omg this championship is one of the most bias competition.. It’s another political will! So disappointing, Christina and Paul should be on the top 3.

    can some1 explain me why 95% of dancers are russians? i guess if ure born russian u are born to dance latina

    • @ds380
      @ds380 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Russians have a strong dancing tradition, from Soviet era and earlier. You would be just as puzzled over their prevalence in European program (waltzes etc.) and in ballet. At this level of performance what matters is the strength of the school, and certainly not ethnic origin of the dance itself, same as with sports. If baseball was an Olympic sport in Soviet times, Russians would be good at it too, trust me.
