Please don’t say that he was not very popular as that isn’t true. It may just be that you did not hear much about him. Those of us who were grown up in the 80s knew Kashif and his work. ❤

this song was written by Skip Scarborough and the original song by Mother's Finest lead singer Joyce Kennedy ..they did an amazing job in their version ..which was back then more like Chaka Khan Funk Rock type of music. But this song was the one i heard first and the Harmonies in this one blows me away ...plus i feel the Duet thing worked out too
