This may be my favorite scambaiting video of all time. Kit was masterful in playing a psychic especially since it was probably all unrehearsed. Starting with a cold reading (although it was not exactly ‘cold’ since he knew exactly where those scammers were located and what they were doing), Kit described the room they were in, told the guy in the back to move to the right, and even asked the caller to stand up. He cleverly did not get exposed by assuming that the caller had stood up (which he clearly hadn’t), but only expressed doubt by saying, “I don’t think you’re taking this seriously”. Genius! But when it became obvious that the caller really did believe in Kit’s psychic power, Kit knew he had a chance to actually reach him. He still had to play the psychic to keep the caller believing, so that he could more easily sell his vision of scamming as a path of darkness and misery. It was a captivating, honest, and powerful call. Quite different from almost every other scam baiting video I’ve seen. Thank you, Kit! I hope the caller found a lifeline in your conversation.
There are things called hot reading, but this is still more of a cols reading. He made some assumptions based off of things he knew. Similar to going up to a middle aged person and saying they have a loved one who died and it was really sad.
@Richard Smith I thought for a moment there that Kit was going to tell him that he is valuable as a person and that he matters. I think it might have been a nice cherry on top- but then again, it’s a well-known Kitboga slogan, and the last thing that scammer needs right now, when he seems to be very seriously considering quitting, is to find out that the psychic was completely fake. I think that might be enough to turn him into a lifelong con-artist, actually. But Kit’s performance was MASTERFUL!
It was a good demonstration of mixing the two --- the initial hot reading of his workspace would be standard for describing a call center, as well as the educated guess that the man was fearful of losing his job. After gaining trust from that, he could cold read about relationships and whatnot with impunity. Peter Popoff famously had prayer cards read to him over a headset to get initial hot readings and then people will latch onto the hit and miss cold reading better.
I like to think this too, but he has ran into the same guys twice (like the guy who pretended to be a priest). Also, he is becoming pretty well known by scammers where they check for him or people like him. Maybe knowing isn't the same as experiencing, but I don't think that bodes well.
I hope so too. Even if he may find out that it was fake, everything Kit said was true. The guy's embarrassed by what he does and is worried about his future. Obviously it doesn't excuse what he does, but perhaps Kit's "psychic reading" was enough for him to regain his conscience and find an actual job.
and what do you think he will do then? india is an overpopulated 3rd world country. bad education bad job situation low income. scamming someone out of a couple hundreds is like a couple months sallary. scamming someone for 20k is like a lifechanging lottery ticket (just with lot higher chances) its not like he gave up a high paying engeneers job. people are fighting to survive in most areas in the world. living a good moral live is luxury of the west. not excusing what he is doing, but i also dont condem them. if youre living in the west and scam people, duck you, but if youre living in a 3rd world hellhole , hell you gotta do what you gotta do
I know, he has a good heart, kit didn't even pressure him into admitting it or anything, it seems to me like he desperately needed to get these feelings he's been repressing off his back because he had no one to talk to about it. It was almost like a therapy session in a weird way, but when he admitted what he was doing to kit it felt like he was admitting it to himself too. I hope he can find a better way to make money because that's such a sad situation to be in
many of these scammers are there because of situations they cant control (or think they cant control). its like a starving child stealing bread. the child sees no other option to end the pain. I think some of the scammers are in a similar situation. I dont agree with what they do. I can only hope they all find the help they need
I pray for the gentleman who actually seemed moved by this -- he opened up. I hope he gets out of the scam business. Thank you for doing this, Kit. You rock.
Yes he mentioned hard times in past no family not really approving of his job no family & needs $ etc he deserves a 2nd chance but would need to actually leave job & provide intel to help shut centre down & lock up bosses before receiving major financial relocation help like others have been given
I understand why a lot of people end up down this path, but i wish they would all come together and figure out how to make their country and themselves better =/
Right? This is another one of those videos where you can see that when the curtain falls, they know what they're doing, and that at least some of them aren't comfortable, happy, or even really *want* to be doing what they're doing. Don't get me wrong, they deserve everything Kit and the other baiters give them, but at least we know they're still human underneath it all, and that not all of them are outright "evil" at their core, some are, sure, but not all of them.
That call center got quiet quick. Psychics usually generalize until they say something that people react to. Then they dial in. This was awesome. Once you guess something that spooks them, you can lead them anywhere. You're awesome bro! Keep it up!!!
@@Oscar-ek2jx A lot of "psychics" and "faith healers" know those things too. There used to be hundreds of different, somewhat complicated methods for aquiring that info, but now thanks to social media, they can learn everything about potential victims without having to do any guesswork.

@Ryan the world isn't always black and white like tv, movies, and news would have you believe. This is what happens when scammers and conmen are accepted as a legitimate way to do business in a society.
@Ryan You can't imagine a situation where someone loses their mother and father at a young age and turn to a life of crime in order to survive? Now that is weird.
@Ryan bro it's ok to feel bad about anyone. You can't imagine living in some favela type neighborhood, losing your parents and when given the opportunity to make a very good living scamming dumb or old americans that spend in a day, what u spend in 3 months? I don't condone them and i still judge them and i surely think living a life like that breaks ur soul smaller and smaller. But i also think sometimes bad people are a product of their environment.
That ending really got to me, I’ve see scammers who really just do it for the paycheck and don’t care for who they hurt, but hearing this guy ask for happiness… that he had no one… I felt that, I hope he finds a better path in life to take
Fuhck that dude keep that same energy he takes money not from rich but the people and families who live paycheck to paycheck. Not everyone deserves sympathy maybe empathy to a certain extent because we are all human. Someone's experience and circumstance does not excuse who they became & how they live their life. Sometimes syht bags are just syht bags....and everyone has a story. More have sad ones.
That young man is seeing money as his happiness but what he really needs is a found family. Friends and their families who will take him in and give him the emotional support he needs to be happy. I hope he made changes in his life after talking to Kit.
@@stalkerstomper3304 A "found" family is a group of friends who support you no matter what. They help replace the void left by your original family who can't or won't support you.
"Tell me if I'm going to be happy in the future or not. Because I struggled a lot and I have no mother and father thats why I'm doing this job." That part really hit me hard.
@RLOPO Except they don't steal from the rich, they steal from the vulnerable. People who will may never be able to bounce back. Don't ever humanize people like this, they made the choices in their life that led to the life they live.
This is definitely my favorite kitboga video. They're not even trying to scam him for most of it, they're all just so engrossed.. like, it sounds like he got the whole office to hover over at that guy's computer to hang out with the psychic. And he's able to do an outstanding psychic hoax because he has a lot of experience with something they think he has no idea about. It's crazy that stuff like this happened with real people, it feels like a cartoon.
The end is actually very sad, this guy genuinely sounds trapped and feels without options. I mean it is bad what they doing but for a slight second I did feel for him.
this is what i love about kitbogas vids, tbh. He trolls scammers all the time, but he doesn't lose sight of the plain fact that they're people too, and a lot of them feel forced into this situation. it doesn't excuse their actions, but i always want to root for people to be better, and I legit think kit has given scammers that chance several times (a chance that some of them seem like they thought they'd never get). it's kinda wholesome in a complicated sorta way.
@@CaSCHWANK I just watched the one with the woman Scammer where Kit pretended to be an elderly couple, and it went down the road of, "you wouldn't try to scam us, would you?" and she ended the call, so maybe he got her to rethink her life choices. It's nice that he gives them a chance to reflect on what they do to people.
I like Kits “psychic” character. It might be a cultural issue that Indians fall so easily for this stuff but I like how he really seems to scare them. Scare them like they scare their victims. No need to hold back, Kit!
Wow... When that guy “told you the truth”, as he said, I got chills. I hope he’s able to carve out a better path for himself. Thank you for using your “powers” for good, Kit.
I did feel some empathy because of his mom but ,how many mother's have been scammed by scammers? I went with a friend to her grandmother's house ,and the grandmother was in her bedroom, she's hooked up to a oxygen tank so she couldn't really keep coming in and out of the room .My friend went in the room , came back out and said that she was looking for her password to the bank, this was in 2016 , the call was so long that I told my friend that it's probably a scammer ,why do they need her bank info to get a refund when she would have paid with her credit card. I tried to convince my friend to make her stop but she said that she bought it a year ago and don't need it . I convinced her to go straight to the bank speak to them and change her password . She only had 500 in the bank for her medicine and bills but she didn't tell us if they had wiped her out of it .She passed away a few months later. All she had to her name was 500 dollars and they probably took it . In the beginning of scamming I remember that many of them didn't even know that they were scamming ,they were really trying to fix the computers that had problems at 599 dollars . The scammers of today know that they are scamming ,that is a choice they made and seem cold hearted when kitboga pretends to be old and sick ,they don't care they keep trying to force her to drive to the store etc etc. The funny part is that kitboga is really reading him cause that's what's going to happen to him in the future if he continues.I heard a few scammers say that the local police were in on it also . Scammers are messing it up for India
@Happy Panda They're human, too. Whether or not they do good things or bad things, they're capable of change. Wish upon those that which you would wish upon yourself; surely you wouldn't want to endure hell.
@mdfouru “something else is worse!” Really isn’t an excuse for these assholes scamming old folks out of their retirement. I’d rather be homeless than scam people.
Perhaps the next time he should pull out a cult script, they also showed to be more powerful than others in human history. How about trying to convert them to the Witnesses of Jehovah or scientology or smth?
Towards the end, I'm happy that Kit acknowledged that the scammer was genuine and was seeking serious help or possible guidance. Kit may have not been a real psychic but the movement he had in their motives possibly changed, and that's all that really matters. So inna way, psychics are probably really thrilled this actually worked, and for possible good.
It really sucks that this guy is basically choosing between extreme impoverishment and crime. I know based on Kit's videos that some of these scammers are despicable and evil, but occasionally they are just kids that don't want to die a hungry death on the streets. Mark Rober's videos also showed me that the mules in America are often just people in a similar situation. It sucks that this is true, but how do you fix it? It such an incredible dilemma that it almost makes it difficult to hate these people indiscriminately.
This reply is from a month ago but I think it’s really cool and reflective. I think being a lot more honest on why people turn to crime can do a lot more. i guess im talking more about scams or petty theft, but I think we can challenge overselves to think more about a human acting rationally on a decision versus evil people are just compelled to do evil things. Anyways, i enjoyed your comment! Have a good one 👍🏽

I've been a part of a cult before, and while I can see the mystical manipulation now, I was blind to it then. What's fascinating to me with your call is that, through absolutely disingenuous means, you manage to make a genuine connection with them. @@sunbleachedangel it is easy for someone to call this scammers evil. Almost as easy as this scammers prey on older and vulnerable people and steal their life savings on a regular basis without a care. Right?
The sad part is they're chasing money and "wealth" the same garbage that has ruined a lot of america. When people ask things like "will I be wealthy" rather than "will I be able to provide for my family or live a comfortable life" they're looking at the wrong things for happyness. I've seen it in other videos "what do you identify with" and the answers were things like "Gucci, Nike, wealthy". Western advertising is hitting the poorer countries and giving the illusion that those things are important. Look at poor areas of the US.. What crimes happen? Are they stealing food? Are they stealing tires or parts to fix their car? No, they're robbing Luis Vuitton, Nike, apple, and jewelry stores. It's so stupid. That's not what life or happyness is about. But people are brainwashed into thinking it is.
This video was so different. I never expected him to be so honest. What I love about this ending is: Kit never outright says, "Stop scamming people." He knows its wrong-he said so himself. He actually had enough respect for this one individual to give him an honest insight, that he is chasing happiness but its fake and it doesn't feel fulfilling. I have the best hopes for him. I can tell he's really someone struggling. But obviously something got through to him since he was so interested. This might be one of my favorite videos on this channel.
You may not trust him and others may not as well for good reasons. But let’s not forget that he trusted Kit here enough to tell him that they were scammers. If it was really about the money at that point they would’ve kept it quiet and pulled some strings.
Check Kit's expression at 29:15. He see's his chance to turn someone around, & he takes it very seriously. That nod just before he speaks. That genuine expression of empathy alone made me misty.
Same. And then he continues to give him the advice that he himself used to get through dark times; help others around you. make the world a better place. i am so moved!
Lmao, only Kitboga can turn scammers lives around by making them believe he's a psychic.😂🤣🤣🤣 This one video here has to go down in scam baiting history, the first "psychic" scam baiter to scare a call center down and make them rethink their life choices🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's funny how they were all laughing and mocking Kit for being "psychic" until he actually started making "predictions.." then it was so silent you could have heard a pin drop. Thanks for the video!
Didn’t laugh even once. Instead, I thought that it was the most interesting and serious episode to date and a great view into the scamming peoples lives. Thank you. Love this side of yours, balancing between scamming them but still on a serious note.
Yeah. It wasn't as funny as the other videos, but I like how honest the scammers were at the end. I hope they change their ways and get a better job in the future. They knew what they were doing was wrong and they didn't want to do it.
Sadly, once humanized, it is kind of depressing when a teenager or young man loses both parents and is just trying to find a way to survive in a poor country. Scamming people that are trying to help others and taking advantage of peoples' humanity and goodwill is pretty evil. If he is going to be a scammer, I wish he would scam the more greedy, unethical Americans like the ones willing to "money flip", buy supposedly knocked off goods that end up being cheap counterfeits, or other scams where the "victim" knows someone is going to be losing money for them to gain it. He would sleep better at night.
Kit deserves an oscar and an emmy. He just acted his way into getting a real life guy into admitting his scamming and then provided him genuine therapy at the same time.
That ending gave me legitimate chills. This is the epitome of why I watch your channel. You seize* any opportunity to guide lost people in the right direction. Genuinely wholesome content.
I feel like we all know how the scammers end up in their situation but hearing them say it and acknowledging the fact that it’s wrong feels so weird. Its so easy to think that they are emotionless and just empty but thats just not the case.
I was thinking the same thing, @TimTribeYT. It is like someone living in an area with gangs and no way out. Maybe if some of the efforts of ministries or other non-profit organizations focused specifically on helping these boys/men find support systems and legitimate jobs and also helped them with their character/conscience, maybe some of the scammers could find better futures. At least the ones who truly know what they are doing is wrong but see no other option might be reachable. It felt sad to think of that man all alone with no family and feeling this was the only way he could earn a living. And, a little sad that he latched onto the psychic option so quickly. He has no grounding, no mooring holding him to good things. Maybe his conscience has been pricked a little and he will seek help to find a better solution in his life.
@@jmd5145 Nope. The govt actually profits hugely from scams like these. The companies where these men work are the ones who amass the money. These are just the lowest wage workers. The govt has made it like this so that 'IT' aka scam sector moves ahead. Literally otherwise, they're facing permanent unemployment and no rights to anything (home, health, etc).
Can't believe how well this worked, amazing. But man... The guy you talked to at the end sure did sound lonely and sad. Loneliness, in the emotional sense, not the physical, is a disease that is taking over some of the most densly populated cities in the world. No excuse for hurting others, but a reminder that criminals are very much human and many of them don't act solely on greed.
I recall it feeling so real, it was a bit sad. Of course not every scammer has a heavy consciousness due to what they are doing, but it's somewhat good to know that some do and are doing it out of desperation or poverty. The only hope is that they work towards finding a better opportunity and abandoning the scam life.
@@yuminelson3268 im sorry but nobody who scams hundreds to thousands of dollars from people is a good person. They might have been a good person forced into a bad situation but as long as they continue to do that they're not good.
This is a really interesting thing to see, setting aside the scambaiting aspect for a moment. This is a great case study in how someone who is primed to believe something can easily be taken in by someone with just a bit of of advanced knowledge and a reasonable ability to guess. You have to wonder how many people have been fooled by the exact same tricks. This guy is lucky that all Kit wanted to do was to make him look silly.
I think its also quite interesting that the guy actually felt bad about what he was doing. And felt compelled to tell the truth. And wanted help to do better. I dunno. Maybe I have tendency to want to see good in people. But I think sometimes when people do bad stuff, sometimes they just need a nudge in the right direction.

I get that but when it’s guys like this who are more remorseful, self aware and sympathetic, I’m just inclined to remember that a lot of these people have children, spouses and/or parents to support, and if it was just them they might do something useful for society, but they are willing to live with a guilty conscience in order to provide the lifestyle for their loved ones that they believes they owe them. Particularly after COVID when a lot of legit call centers were/are shuttered.
It’s great advice. The more we learn about neuropsychology the more we find that humans just aren’t hardwired to be happy all the time. In fact it is the opposite; happiness is fleeting - almost by design. Seek to simply live a life that is meaningful.

I'd be super interested in seeing the car warranty guys get screwed over. I've never seen a scam baiter do one of those and I'm curious what they are all about, other than "pay us for non existent warranty".
So I was getting tons of those warranty calls. So I started hitting 1 and getting transferred to a "technician" and just screaming into the phone. Haven't had a call in 2 weeks. Think it worked...
Well it's like people who got screwed by capitalism and need to steal from banks to survive as their only option. They are a little bit of the victim of this too. (But I'm sure the people who start these in the first place are still truly evil)
OnlyFails I agree. India should return to its precolonial state. Bring back the full glory of the caste system. Bring back widow-burning. Bring back the warring feudal empires!
When you know even a little bit about a person, it's easy to pretend to be psychic. Just knowing what job they do and what country they may be from makes it easy to pick out stereotypes and common knowledge that can help convince them. Just be vague enough that you lead them to make their own connections. It's a fun gimmick, but please don't ever use it to take money from people. There is a lot of superstition in India still, they are culturally 'spiritual' so I understand how it was easy to get them interested in the idea. I hope someone in that scam center heard what they needed to in order for them to move on from that line of work.
The average income for unskilled work in India is $62 a month. Scammers earn about $300 a month. In India this is a huge difference and goes a long way to explaining what they do, imo. It doesn’t excuse robbing old people blind. Peace. 🇬🇧

The fun fact about tarot is that the cards don't really matter, you can legitimately use a deck of Uno cards to do readings.
Tarot cards are playing cards but eventually began to be used for esoteric things. It's going full circle, in a way.
It's worse, he supposedly mixed MtG and Uno cards into one deck... And those are not even the same size.

*This video is very underrated on many levels, it shows as bad as some people can be and do, somewhere deep down they just want forgiveness. Im definitely gonna be grinding this experience through my brain for a bit.*
🎯
honestly it was a little heart warming to hear that man feeling genuinely ashamed and asking you how to find happiness some other way like.... im sorry bro, i know that financial hardship is prevalent where he lives, but surely it is possible to do good for the world instead 🥺
surely...
"Don't look for happiness" is something I'm hearing for the first time ever, and it's the most realistic talk I've ever come across. shi was deeep 😭
It’s great advice. The more we learn about neuropsychology the more we find that humans just aren’t hardwired to be happy all the time. In fact it is the opposite; happiness is fleeting - almost by design. Seek to simply live a life that is meaningful.
Thinking that happiness is the objective of life will lead to an empty, meaningless life
1:20 “It’s banned in modern” LMFAOOOO, love the Magic The Gathering reference
Only real gamers get this
@@cheeseburgerflavor4231 Or, y'know, literally anyone who's casually played MTG in the past.
I wish there was a way he can use the "un-" series (unhinged, unglued, etc.) of MTG like a tarot reading. I'm sure he can get away with them actually doing the zany shit written on those cards.
I died when he said he has to muligan when he drew 4 Nicol bolas xD
@Addict have you been on Tiktok? There's thousands of us and we've all found a way to play paper Magic together and have a good time!

Imagine if he collabed with Jim and actually did like hot reading on people to freak them out.
I'm fine with Peter Popoff-ing these people. :)

"Roll for initiative." That one nearly killed me! XD
The last guy moved out of the "call center" to continue the conversation in private. Super sad, strange ending. If the goal is to waste their time, you may have failed. It may not have been a waste at all.
The goal is to stop them scamming others . If he got this guy to quit , he mighta stopped a lot more than one person being ripped off
@@Crybaby-Media that was his point already
It isnt to waste the time its to keep them from having the time to talk to victims

I'd be super interested in seeing the car warranty guys get screwed over. I've never seen a scam baiter do one of those and I'm curious what they are all about, other than "pay us for non existent warranty".
Plus they've been calling me constantly lately. Ugh.
They are so persistent about the warranty on my (heavily) used 2001 4Runner. 😂
So I was getting tons of those warranty calls. So I started hitting 1 and getting transferred to a "technician" and just screaming into the phone. Haven't had a call in 2 weeks. Think it worked...
@@jayremie5705 thanks for tip!
It's a different kind of scam. They are a car warranty company out of Michigan, selling very expensive car warranties.
The amount of "professions" that could be accurately described as people who legit are a "psychiatrist without a degree".
"I see numbers but what do they mean Mason???!" Oh god I'm crying

Rip to his mom even though he's a scammer
Well it's like people who got screwed by capitalism and need to steal from banks to survive as their only option. They are a little bit of the victim of this too. (But I'm sure the people who start these in the first place are still truly evil)
OnlyFails I agree. India should return to its precolonial state. Bring back the full glory of the caste system. Bring back widow-burning. Bring back the warring feudal empires!
@@o00nemesis00o The sad part is that India's economic model is socialist, they even have maximum prices on certain things.
Yeah that's probably a sympathy lie. But still i hope he's done doing these scams by now.
@@TheGrmany69 wait the socialist economy doesn't work? Say it ain't so!
Roll for initiative; rolls a -5. Brought to you by the same scammer who scored a 2 on the Glasgow Coma Scale.
I hope someone in that scam center heard what they needed to in order for them to move on from that line of work.
cold reading is a blast
The average income for unskilled work in India is $62 a month. Scammers earn about $300 a month. In India this is a huge difference and goes a long way to explaining what they do, imo. It doesn’t excuse robbing old people blind. Peace. 🇬🇧
"Know that you're valuable and that you matter"
Such an amazing message, I needed to hear that. Thank you Kitboga
Love how they stopped trying to scam after a certain point and were just curious as to how she was doing this
"What religion are you?"
You’ve broken into this man’s walls. Hit him with what afflicts him, and he will talk a little. It’s vague enough because this guy knows the psychology of a scammer. This is a symphony of the soul.
