I still found it to be a little funny that the intro animation did not actually match with their respective calamity elements as Barghest which is the Beast calamity have fire animation in it while the intro of Melusine which is the real Flame calamity were surprisingly only show sky with cloud animation and does not really show animation related to flame. But nevertheless, I still found these calamity intro to be epic!

Getting to this very late due to distractions, but figured would try this strategy to get past Barghest myself. From a few other Orion strats I've seen against other bosses was worried that mine only being NP1 might backfire but managed to win on turn 6! Thanks so much for the inspiration
Same. Cleared Christmas shop and took break to work on this LB. RNG was a bit against me and I didn’t snag the guts mystic code, but NP1 Super Orion hung in there anyway down to 802 health on turn 7 to finish. 😅

I was going to suggest Gethsemane by Nightwish as a soundtrack when I saw you fight Barghest once more in part 3 but I think it only really suits her humanoid form.
I really wish this was a preview fight with the last one letting you choose whatever units you wanted. Given the fights best structure having Mash/Lancelot/Gawain break the first HP bar die and then solo it with any pimped out Archer is kind of Lame.
It's a shame how good FGO's story gets while being locked behind completing like 4 mediocre singularities. A new player won't experience how good it gets for a while.
Let herself descend into despair more like. She came back home to Manchester to find all the Fae there killing and eating their human Servants and neighbours, just for fun. When she demanded to know why they were doing it, they said they were imitating her because she eats her lovers too (most recently, she ate 'Adonis'), without bothering to empathize that she doesn't do it out of choice and really doesn't WANT to do it either. This made her decide that the Fae really were just trash and that Morgan was right not to give a shit about them, so she let her instincts as the Black Dog overwhelm her in the hopes of killing every Fae she could find, because she didn't want any of them to escape outside the Lostbelt into PHH.
Oh, of course, I was so hyped to get Barghest that I actually forgot that we will have to kill her at some point in the story... Also, I wish Barghest np transformation looked more like this, I really like her design but her np animation is just meh...
From what folks are saying, the real *menace* of this Lostbelt _and apperantly of the entire game just yet_ is the boss battle against Cernunnos. Seriously, I haven't watched it yet, but from everyone's comments, it seems like he is THE single handedly hardest boss in the entirety of FGO's history. T__T
