I can't wait for the final version of the mod. A alternative story, new buildings, new creatures. I could totally see this being a dlc like below zero. (Are the return of the ancients gonna do things to below zero I wonder) (living frozen leviathan? Return of the ice dragon?) These people are amazing at what they do and it's so cool just to see it come to life.
I feel that if this mod ever gets any type of official support it should be more like an alternate game mode. Kind of like an in between hardcore and survival, you still have to go through the story like normal but it's a lot more dangerous with all these ancient creatures. And at the end have a few more steps to prevent the gargantuan Leviathan from attacking the Neptune rocket as it leaves. Maybe some type of distraction system like the Cyclops has.
@@TheLastBacon if they did get some type of official support they probably would have to scale back exactly what you can do with the architect technology. Right now some of it's kind of overpowered, though considering the gargantuan leviathans in the game with this mod that might be the point. Side note, is it just me or is the gargantuan Leviathan from this mod a little bit smaller than the skull and Bones you find in the Lost River in the base game?
I remember in Early Access I wondered if they'd add a vehicle-mounted scanner (and i think posted about it too), and it's pretty cool how we got one now.

I have a crazy theory: Instead of eating the sunbeam and its crew, the Gargantuan was actually inviting them for a party, and saving them from the Quarantine Enforcement Platform. It would be funny if you see the Gargantuan and the sunbeam just vibing to abandon ship at the bottom of the void. Also crazy theory: When the Gargantuan eats you, it's just trying to take you to the party, but accidentally swallows you. (Just kidding lol but that would be hilarious)

If this was the real game, they could've scrapped the entire precursor story and just made it so the only thing stopping you from leaving was the Gargantuan, and the story was how you eventually kill it in order to escape. I kinda want this now.
This is why I love this channel! 🤩 After seeing the reaper I remembered how much I wanted to scan him by using tips my friend gave me like let the reaper get attracted only by the creature decoy. I didn't work, all does tips only work for him and of course Im still scared and pissed at the reaper. It would be good if a subnautica pro gamer could help me😄 By the way thank you for doing this awesome videos man!
@@cjstudios1110 I prefer to not film it, I will try scan the reaper but I will never try to scan the aurora reaper and mountain reaper. I try to use the creature decoy all times and it never works but I will still try it. Thank you by the way👍

With how much attention its getting, and the fact that they got the original voice actors for the Sunbeam, and were even helped by Unknown Worlds with, something I forgot, i'd be surprised if it didn't get picked up.
I havent checked so it probably exists, but id be happy with a mod that allowed me to equip more mods at once on my seamoth, or switch arms on the fly with the prawnsuit
i was very shocked to find out they hired the real voice actors for the sunbeam lines
