When our houses were being built, we walked around "inside", while the framing was going up, all the time. The biased assumption was what led the two men to start chasing a black man under questionable circumstances. However, the state of mind when Travis pulled the trigger is key here. It MAY have been an auto reflex reaction, an instinctive self-defense response when someone turns to confront you and grab your gun. This doesn't get the Ms off the hook. But it creates obvious reasonable doubt regarding malice murder versus 2nd degree murder or manslaughter, or the equivalent thereof in Georgia. I fail to see how we can rule this possibility out. And in many other instances, people have protested, marched, and pled with authorities to charge people for killing Blacks. When Blacks kill or commit crimes, we are charged immediately and typically harsher sentences than whites. This was a rare case of justice being served. @@wendyfreeblk8 I believe the house( building under construction) was a maker for him (AA) when he went out for a run. I run a couple times per week. I have makers all around my apartment and around my moms house. Most of my makers are 2.5 miles away from my apartment or from my mom's house. When I go for a run I run foward in one direction to my makers and run back to my place and that gives me my desired distance of about 5miles. Coincidentally one of my makers was a building under construction (now completed). I would run to that building (still do) then turn around and run back home. It is easier to remember makers when they are distinctively different like a building under construction. Mr English's unsecured house was about 2miles from AA house. So running to that house and running back home will be about 4miles. Which makes it a pretty good maker.

Travis said on the stand it was so much crime he just decided to just leave his car unlocked. Later he stated he asked his mother and father did they lock the cars. Travis was tripping over his words and I noticed his body language was very telling. Example: scratching his head, leaning forward at times. etc.

@Letsgo Brandon this had nothing to do with BLM. Arbery never stole anything. The McMichaels had no grounds for citizens arrest and Arbery was under no obligation to talk to them. Arbery never threatened them and tried to avoid any interactions with them. When Arbery was jogging in the direction of the McMichaels truck, he again tried to avoid any confrontation with them by going to the opposite side of the vehicle away from Travis who moved to where Arbery was to engage him. The actions of the McMichaels was unhinged, ruthless and irresponsible. The verdict was right and just…….as was the Rittenhouse verdict.
