  • So it's a 2017 John Deere 859MH tracked harvester with a Waratah 622B. The John Deere is the 330hp version with closed loop track drives. The machine is owned by Tumut Valley Logging and I'm it's sole operator 😃
In these videos we are doing first thinning work in Radiata pine that is around 15 years old. We are cutting only pulp logs for the Visy paper mill in Tumut. No saw log!! This machine is followed by a JD 1710D.
In the videos I'm doing some roadline clearance So it's a 2017 John Deere 859MH with a Waratah 622B. The John Deere is the 330hp version with closed loop track drives.

I much more enjoyed the sound of the machine that the music good think for mute. The headcam was a very good touch. I could feel the operator's pain on some of those first trees lol

I know, but I had to change the music, because the operator was listening music and therenwould have been copyright complaints. I like the video too! 😉

While good to feature the delimb capabilities, I understand how frustrating the production bottleneck can be when you're trying to make a video. nice work. I hope to do some harvesting one day. Not as much opportunity around my parts. cheers
