This was huge on MTV back then. Michael was giving everybody the middle finger, especially the media. I felt so sorry for him. Thanks for this Psyche. Reminds me of another time.

Love this song and video. Michael asked to be left alone, but the press ignored his request. MJ - like George Michael - always found a way to convey his message in a catchy song. Rest In Peace indeed. Thanks Psyche for brightening my day and helping to keep MJ’s legacy alive.

I hadn't seen this video in ages. This truly was the middle finger to the media, press, and paparazzi who hounded him relentlessly. There was so much fabrication that had a huge hand in trying to making him appear odd to many. I never understood why they found it necessary. Those with half a brain and able to truly think for themselves would have known it was all pure BS. The song speaks for itself. Yet again, another great one that is rare today. Keep em coming. :-)
Hi Psyche🌹. So glad for your reaction to this🥰. I have always loved the fact that Michael, as sensitive and sincere as he was, had that inner strength to push back in such a creative way. He knew the cost of fame with lack of privacy and inability to move in public, but it was the relentless lying that so infuriating. If I could have just one dime for every lie told of this man I would be a very wealthy woman. It was because of his huge popularity that any news you could generate would make you money. It didn't have to be true to be lucrative. Talk about selling your soul for thirty pieces of silver.
My favorite part was toward the end where the Lilliputians were trying to keep Michael pinned down and contained under the amusement park they built around him. But he was able to break free because he was Invincible and Unbreakable🎶‼️. Such a creative genius😮❣️

Hi Psyche❤️ I was such a huge Michael fan it’s now a little hard to watch his videos, just so heart wrenching. So I forgot how much fun this one is. He loved to be cutting edge with his work. This animation was amazing at the time. But yes the theme needed to be said and still holds true about celebrity in general. And these days social media had taken that destructive aspect to another level. Awesome reaction 👏👏😍

I love this one. The music is so good. The production is amazing. The video outstanding. He was (is) and always will be a genius and the greatest of all time.
Naturally, the press and everyone else wasn’t going to leave him alone. They must always destroy what’s on top and what’s most loved in the world. He said it best himself. Once he started breaking all the world records they started labeling him all the nastiest things they could label him to knock him down. It didn’t work at that time (Thriller, Bad times) he became even more famous and the global superstardom that he found was that of no other. Then we know what followed (I won’t even speak of the falsities) and he still had the biggest global superstardom of any star ever. He still does to this day.
I’m sorry for my slight rant. I just love him and I wish everyone left him alone.

This is the first channel I’ve found were they don’t talk all the way through the song.
So annoying but anyway Michael Jackson was the best ever I loved him.
That’s what it was really like in the 80’s with the newspapers about the hyperbaric chamber and the chimp amongst other things.
All complete lies. They just wouldn’t leave him alone. Poor soul wasn’t allowed to live a normal peaceful life with all the hate.
