    Unfortunately, over 30 years later this song is still relevant. This is what happens when you become one of the most famous people to ever walk this planet. If people do their own research, rather than blindly trusting the media, they'll learn this man did a lot of good things for the world beyond his music.

      @@genericnamehere7602 Exactly. I've heard many times the media was counting on MJ being found guilty in 2005. They had planned on doing all types of TV specials, magazines, etc. that would've made them millions of dollars. People should understand the media is not unbiased. It's a business first and foremost. They would have had no problem seeing an innocent man behind bars as long as they could profit off of it.

      C B how was it hush money. What parents would take money after someone molesting your kid? No amount of money should justify that, instead they would’ve fought for justice instead. But the whole thing is bullshit and all they wanted was money. Also maybe if you did some research, you’d know his legal team paid the parents without MJ knowing. He never wanted to pay them, but his team decided that was easier so the whole thing could end and he could move on with his career.

      Sadly, that 1st case was open season on him. I saw an interview where he was asked why he didn't go to court. He said he asked his legal team if they could guarantee/promise he wouldn't be convicted and he said they told him they couldn't, so he paid the settlement. I heard the auto tape of the father of the alleged victim, and it comes across like extortion and as soon as he married Lisa Marie, he sues her too (suit was dismissed). Prior to the allegation coming out, it was said the person told a therapist that it did, then it didn't happen and tried to get the doctor to not say anything, but by CA law, the doctor had to report it. A lot of this came after his death. Too bad it came out too late to repair his reputation.

    • @lepoetress
      @lepoetress 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@supersmashmaster43 I remember where Johnnie Cochran did the press conference and them explaining why they settled. I wish he had've fought it. Once he paid, he had a target on his back. If he shook hands with you (I'm being sarcastic), folks were coming out the woodwork, saying they were sexually assaulted. What was sad is, some of these folks had questionable reputations/backgrounds and people glossed over it. Not saying those allegations shouldn't be taken seriously, but when red flags start popping up almost immediately, they should be looked at just as much as the alledged perpetrator is being looked at.

    Michael Jackson was something special yet inevitable. He was part of the generation of black kids that saw Malcolm X and MLK die, saw Ali get locked up, saw the Black Panthers dismantled. MJ through music gave those same black kids his age a sense of hope, and they ended up becoming the Tysons, the Jordans, The Whitneys, the Mariahs, the Tupacs that inspired us. Everything he did was unprecedented, be it breaking records, or owning the largest Music publishing company in the world, or becoming the most famous man of the last 1000 years. Truly the GOAT!

The woman in the video was Elizabeth Taylor. She was good friends with Michael, but the media said he built a shrine to her. He was telling the media to leave him alone...Re-watch it on your own time.

    I have only ever been to 1 concert in my life. That was Michael Jackson’s Dangerous world tour in Glasgow in 1992. Although I was too young to remember most of it I am just glad I had the pleasure to see him live. I grew up a HUGE MJ fan. Although in later years I started to get into various types of music I still love MJ.

    I loved Michael Jackson. I will never forget where I was at when I had heard about his passing. I thought that it was a hoax. I was in the parking lot at work, getting ready to drive home. It came on the radio. I just sat in my car crying. Calling my other half on the phone bawling my eyes out. I grew up on his music, had the sparkly gloves and socks. His death and Prince hit me the hardest after Lady Diana. Any music of Michael is amazing. Man in the mirror is one of my favorites. Rip Michael.

    Nothing negative was said about Michael until he started talking about the sins of the super elite. I grew up with Michael ( not literally) im not pig- headed, but short of seeing 100% irrefutable proof , you aint convincing me he could hurt anyone ! Even if you didnt dig his music, he changed the world, and by proxy everyone in it. A few of the best moments of my life hinged on Michael Jackson.

      It started when Evan Chandler, a Hollywood dentist & father of 1st accuser (Jordie) approached MJ with movie scripts & wanted funding, MJ turned him down. At the same time, Evan was in a heated custody battle w/ the mom & was $60,000 Behind in child support. There's a recorded phone call where he states "IF I go thru with this, I get EVERYTHING (custody, money, movie deals) & "they" will be DESTROYED, théyll never sell another record" ... He committed suicide a few months after Michael died.

      @@CjJohns1776 I hadn't heard this, but they did play a recording back then of the 1st victim's father, saying words to the effect of "When I go to the media, you're not gonna like what's gonna happen". That was the only part I heard ever played publicly. My 1st thought when I heard that was - sounds like extortion. They when he married Lisa Marie, he sues her and for what - she wasn't even around when the alledged incident took place; what was the purpose of suing her?

Not to mention folders, pencils, and my aunt made us all a Michael Jackson glove and we all thought we were so cool it was great! Definitely lost him way too soon and he will be FOREVER missed! One more thing "THRILLER" the best album ever and the video I dont even have words for that it was and still is so amazing! So glad you did this song! Thank you so much for taking me back to my to my childhood days with Michael it was so good to hear and see the video again! I hadn't seen or heard either in a along time! You guys are AWESOME!!❤

      Me too. It was so surreal. Farrah Fawcett died, I think at 9:30, then he passes around 12:30 P. I was home when they announced it and I was like, "Lord, no! Come on, Lord, no!!" I thought it was a sick joke, but we all found out it wasn't. Even though I know its true, he's gone, I'm STILL waiting for them to say it waa a joke that went too far and he's on an island getting much needed rest and coming back with more bangers. I know its not true, but some days ... music seemed to have lost something without Michael. RIP Michael Jackson

      My grandmother predicted his death she told me 20 years ago he wouldn't make it to 50. I asked her why she said he hates himself Crystal look what he has done to himself look how ppl have treated him and turned Their backs on him...I used to argue with her saying no he will live forever michael was my idol we looked up to him our entire childhood smh! When he died I took a few days off from work I was totally distraught I felt like i lost a family member.
