This was my review of episode 261 on another forum. ----review--- I normally do not complain about changes to a storyline and more often than not, I welcome and embrace it as long as some aspect stays true. However, in this episode, none of this is original to the novel other than Xiao Wu "accepting" Asura Sword and how this even happened is very debatable! As a lover of the novel, I'm actually incredibly disappointed... This episode has left me truly speechless because I do not even know where and how to criticize. Therefore, all I can say is, this drastic change of events/plot has strayed far from originality... I understand this is an adaptation, but the changes in this episode, cannot even be defined as an adaptation of the novel, but rather a story of its own with the adoption of Soul Land characters... I want to believe that anyone who has read the novel and watched this episode is just as disappointed and frustrated as me. I cannot even fathom the right words to describe my disappointment lol. Do not get me wrong, while the visuals were great and there were some good moments, overall, yeah...
