He is a really knowledgeable guy on Vanguard Zero and is even recognized by Bushiroad (I believe he was commentator for two vangaurd world championships) and even the official vanguard twitter handle gave him shoutout recently. He is definitely one to check out for Vanguard!!!!!

That is funny, because 2014 is actually the year I stopped watching/playing vanguard. I played during 2012-2014 and stopped when the G series came out.
@@LCardosed92 I tried to like G. So badly! But they cut out the most entertaining part. The actual fighting. That and I missed the og cast. Glad there was a reboot

The fights are more of the actual units fighting rather than than showing the actual card game step by step like in OG seasons. Hoewever while I did the actual plot somewhat lacking, I really enjoyed the focus on characters and the new mechanics brought in by the reboot as well as the all clans getting support at least once a year is much appreciated.
TIP FOR THOSE JUST STARTING Dont bother crafting or gacha for just Blaster Blade. You get 1 through story mission and rest of the 3 by doing grade up missions. By grade 11 you should have 4 copies already.
@@liodio346 If you wanna play royals then sure. Gancelot as a heal trigger can be great because it can shuffle itself back in deck and search blaster blade. Good consistency option especially when Majesty Lord Blaster eventually comes into the game.
@@sammydray5919 Gancelot as a heal trigger is nice, but honestly any trigger works on Gancelot simply because of the shuffleback mechanic. (I can't tell you how frustrating it is to draw into triggers). Regarding the "Should I reset for him" - If you're planning on running the broken MLB deck, than you're going to need 4 of him. Rerolling for him would be a great idea since you're going to either have to do that, or farm the credits from Blue Hair main character for crafting (Sorry, only characters I liked in the anime were Kai and Mikasi).
@@VirtuesOfSin That is very true. Its just my luck is so shit that I ALWAYS draw into my all 4 heals within a couple of turns whereas my opponent keeps getting 6th damage heal lol. So as soon as I thought of Gancelot only shuffling back heal trigger cane to my mind lol.

I had a grade 16 account but I didn’t get any RRR at all in the beginning, so I rerolled. It took me like an hour and I got maximum 2 RRR, and I finally got more then 4 and I actually got 7, and 4 in one pack. I’m so happy I rerolled. Thanks shady and your videos are honestly amazing

I’m so happy seeing Shady play vanguard! I’ve been playing since the game came out in English and I have to say Zero is hitting the nostalgia a lot more successfully for me than the reboot tried to. It’s a fun, fresh way to play that I’m excited for. That said I’m not using any tickets or gems until I can get Dark Irregulars with them, I need my clan ASAP.

I downloaded the app this morning. I actually started watching the show from the beginning in November or December. I’ve always been curious about the game and see my other local shop have tournaments on Mondays
I just had a thousand flashbacks to me back in middle school and playing this game and how I was sad that I had to stop because I moved and there was no one who played in my area. This made me so incredibly happy.

Our experience of the game is so similar I used to bangout the grandblue deck loved playing in tourneys with the undead pirates. But I also fell out the game after like bt10 or something and never kept up with the whole reboot and change and it felt like too much to get back too... but this game has been a really great way of enjoying my nostalgia.

Hey Shady, thanks for passing along the info from DifferentFight, I'm definitely gonna check his video after yours. I recently downloaded the app and look forward to watching what videos you make around this game! Little thing I found; if you want to have a little bit of "fun" while summoning, if you don't just skip them, you can swipe your finger across the whole row of 6 cards from the pack at once. Makes for a neat wave of cards flipping over, and kinda goes with the "Stand Up! My Vangaurd!" feel, as all the cards "stand up" for you as you swipe. I dunno, maybe it's just me, but it definitely has an aesthetic to it that other Gacha systems don't, at least in my eyes. (Also I def need to play those tutorials after rerolling cuz I'm still not 100% on what Clans are, they're like types in yugioh except your deck can only be made from one clan? That must suck if one clan just becomes irrelevant later :/ )
I've been a fan of this game for years, but never really get the chance to play it as no stores in my area offer product for it. But this game is perfect for something like that, even if it isn't pure Vanguard like I was hoping it would be.
I still have my Bermuda Triangle deck and Royal Paladin deck from college. I like the little changes they did to the game, makes it flow a little better, especially on mobile. And the perfect guard change threw me off a little.

Pro Tip: Disable all effects before re-rolling. Saves some time when going through the tutorial several times.
