@bruceyyyyy she's almost transitioned to garage queen earlier this year but I just got her up and running again last week. She had intermittent stalling on idle and intermittent cel. Took about a month to get the cel to scan. But when symptoms progressive worsened we were able to scan it and found out the crankshaft position sensor was no good. We replaced the affected one and she runs good again. 👍 Well see if I can get out this summer. Gonna give it a couple months and hopefully nothing else gives out lol 😆
Hi, great video boss, one question? In the video you don't show in the head lights a small metal called ballast, work ok the aftermarket light whitout the ballast? Let me know pls because I need replace my gmc acadia lights, thanks
I wish I’d never gotten an Acadia. Stupid headlamp connector broke tonight while I was trying to change the headlamp and I have to replace that piece. Cheap parts, hard labor to replace. Hopefully I won’t have to remove the entire assembly.
I've watched this video twice and can't figure out where you saw it. But yes it is. I've kept it mostly out of the public eye but it's what I use as a runabout for in town trips.
I'm currently doing this and it's the most stupid fucking thing ever! Why not stick to the Silverado style like the 99-06 had bar on the top pull out remove whole assembly super easy and cost effective too
I've been lagging on my headlight restore for my outback. 😅 this was a good reminder to do that someday haha
How is the Outback?

That might be a trim specific thing. The owner bought the headlights and I just did the work on replacing them.
I believe ballasts only apply to HID headlights. These are halogen.
Did you have to adjust the beams if so did you get the oem assembly. I bought oe china made ones but I think I have an adjustment screw
No adjustments

It's one of my least favorite vehicles to work on as well. I can't say I'm a GM unibody fan.
How many f'ing bolts to take a freakin headlight assembly out
Is that a 1st Gen Honda Insight in the background? Awesome.

@@bruceyyyyy At about 2:18, just the front clip is visible. I have spent enough time around early 2000s Honda products to notice. Thanks for sharing.
